Cause there’s a few issues with exotics rn

• rerolling exotics can apparently cause them to get deleted (if inventory is full) - trello
• vindicator cannot be rerolled as its blueprint is missing
• iron lung does not seem to be a native drop, some people who have found it have found it from exotic caches (they have the blueprint if this is the case)

In the past even though a few exotics were available in a previous season and it’s common to add them to the loot pool the following season they were unable to attain unless you had the blueprint to reconfigure (this was a while ago) but gives me reason to speculate they didn’t add it to the loot pool yet

I think the most infamous exotic that can be referenced to for that last point was the catharsis mask

• Iron Lung is a native drop, RNG is just RNG
  The reason Countdown is recommended for farming in general is because of the sheer amount of drops - aswell as the credits to be used for exotic caches. It's just important to note the difference in exotic drop rate between Countdown and LZ. It's 1/3.
  The most efficient way to TL farm for Exotics are listed in the build sheet - Lincoln Memorial > CP4 (Countdown or Summit isn't even mentioned)

Brand new build with a CPU: 5800X3D/GPU: 7900 XTX. Still the same random crashing issues (abhorrent CTDs) from when I had a CPU: ThreadRipper 2990WX/GPU: 5700XT. But after this TU20 update, been getting the error that @fast hatch posted with is basically the same as the one I posted earlier.

Rpm x damage will give you an idea of what the best options are before you farm the item..

Just make sure you are using data that has been updated to resolve patch. A lot of the damage and rpm were tweaked to bring some of the lower performing weapons in line with previous meta weapons.

That's SHD level - if you're familiar with Paragon levels from Diablo 3, this is similar. Up until lvl 999 you will get a bit of extra stats - important note on the extra part. Up until 2000 you gain hp. Anything after level 1000 goes into Scavenging Points which gives you materials.

What I can recommend you do:

• Look through your inventory UI and take note of everything. Brands, Gear Sets, Talents - get used to what you're looking at. What is a core, what is an attribute, all that.
• Familiarise yourself with the map, what can you look at, what info does it give etc.
• Familiarise yourself with the tinkering station and for christ sake read the tutorial popup, because it covers the basics
• Go into #td2-build-advice > check the pinned messages > Go to the sheet and then read the FAQ
• Pick a build from the hub and go for it, get to grinding
• Familiarise yourself with the power hierarchy | #ask-td2-community message

what 'deck said, basically you can "reconfigure" Exotic Weapons at the Crafting Table to randomise the % of the first 2 stats and alter the 3rd stat entirely.

the "best" 3rd stat will almost always be dtooc, but don't waste Compoments on doing that, it's far more important to spend them elsewhere.

Is it just better to run through floors or farm the boss specifically?

np - I am using a 4pc Hotshot Build to farm Legendary on Floor 30, but it's a pain - if you're really good you're able to do it consistently but it's a lot up to RNG since White Tusk has dogs that can't be headshot

And when you use Determined on them and one shot them, there's usually a second which burns you

The game is worth playing now and pretty much everything can be solo’d with the right knowledge and builds. The exceptions are the raids, countdown (challenging difficulty +), incursion and imo legendary

I pretty much matchmake to get more enemies to spawn and make the content harder so matchmaking is definitely certain.

I’m pretty sure the boss only drops loot once now (first kill) but I could be wrong. The way to do it is to kill the boss and leave ads alive, collect loot and go to lobby

But for me the loot chances are so low that I just progress to higher floors where it is somewhat higher

the raven is spawned during the Manning National Zoo mission, he's required to kill during the mission to complete it. If you are having trouble finding him, you might be doing the invaded version of the mission, or if you have done the mission and need to find the Raven for your technician (?) spec stuff, i think he might need to be fought on hard or above.

It will affect what stats you can prioritize in the rest of the build - outside of that, you also need to account for weapon talents to properly show TTK

Unsure if you can get Ninjabike (just, be aware that it's not that great an item) without the expansion, but it generally follows this:

Randoms or friends, it doesn't matter

If Lincoln does not have the right targeted loot, farm open world targeted loot instead.
Pick your favourite Heroic CP4 in the area.

Farm this Heroic CP4 with as few people as you can manage. (this lets you clear faster and kill Named enemies
more often)
If you have friends who will drop the exotic for you, farm it with them.

Every time you clear the CP4, reset all control points to hostile to do it again immediately.
Every time you reset, immediately call for nearby allies so that you are able to respawn on them."```

Countdown is recommended because of the sheer quantity of items aswell as exotic caches.

i would double check if said named items are dz only or available anywhere. sometimes the dz exclusives can be pretty hard to obtain and may be worth optimizing.
any named you do plan on getting rid of ,definitely donate to expertise in stead of breaking for mats or selling

there is a section of the tinkering station that deals with proficiency and expertise... they go hand in hand.
usage or donations of items increases and items proficiency. you may have noticed a shield with a number or a star on some of your items. that represents the items proficiency level.
expertise uses those proficiency levels to tick up an expertise level.
think of proficiency as the minute hand on a clock, and expertise is the hour hand.
as you become proficient on different items you incrementally push the expertise level up.
so example, you maybe have 10 items fully proficient, those items push you to expertise level 2 (not actual, just example). at that point any proficient item can take upgrades up to your expertise level, in this case 2% increase.
weapons use the % as weapon damage. gear uses the % as base armor upgrade (independent of blue cores). skills will use the % as an increase to one specific attribute (each skill will list which).
its a very circular thing, but if you just mark stuff you dont need as junk and donate it in the expertise bench itlll increase your expertise without really thinking too much about it. its gonna be far endgame to use upgrades and they will be limited to some weapons and skills. upgrades are costly and are item specific.
