I just think they missed a lot of key details with the backstory, especially if you read the forerunner saga of the halo novels. It really enhances the background of forerunner and what they were and who they are

(Likely) Controversial opinion here:
The percent based health and shield system seen in Halo Reach, Halo CE and Halo 3 ODST should've been used in halo 5 or infinite
The return of said health system last seen in halo reach was very good change of pace compared to halo 2 and 3 where you health wasn't even displayed and automatically Regenerated once your shields recharged.

There was a Farily good reason Bungie returned to said system in halo ODST with the stamina system and again with Halo Reach.
