My brother wants me to make a cookies map with 9 rooms. Each of the 9 rooms has a different theme (desert, jungle, snowy, etc) however he also wants intractable aspects like doors and launchers that you can open/close and turn on/off. That last part is my problem. How do I script usable doors and how if possible do I script gravity launchers that can be turned on and off? Any help is much appreciated thanks spartan!

I am not sure if you can spawn enemies in vehicle but you can spawn them near em and theyll usually operate them. But i think i did see a video explaining they managed spawn enemies like elites in vehicles. But in halo infinite some ai are only able to drive certain vehicles.

Speaking of firefight. Is anyone interested in helping me make my Arcade Remix firefight? Its not KOTH and is more like the classic set based one since i am pretty sure they let you do that in one of the recent updates. I am adding very arcade like elements like a pack a punch machine, perks and custom equiptments like a bubble box thats like the bubble shield so it blocks projectiles but not players, another one is just spawning a grav lift, etc.

But my absolite favourite element i am gonna add is a weapon combiner. You need to combine a base weapon and an upgraded weapon like ie the assault rifle shooting riven mangler ammo. Or the mangler shooting the upgraded bulldog ammo or tracker spnkr rockets. So the players are required to have one pack a punched weapon before they can use the weapon combiner.

I have some designs drawn up for my perk machines. And also a bunch of names like "Brute-Beer" instead of the cod names so brutebeer is just juggernog. Speed Tea (like sweet tea) is speedcola but i might call it ICE Tea cuz of meth being reffered to as ice.

If any artists are potentially interested in rounding out a campaign-level project that is already blocked out and partially arted, the original artists have all poofed.
The checkpoint and encounter system is already installed as well, just needs the rest of the encounters laid in, which are already mapped out and should be easy to do, given the system I wrote for it.

The project I called out in that previous message had someone step up, but I do have some others that are very free form that I need levels built for and one that just needs art finalized.

The 1st is a tower, where players defeat waves of enemies and challenges on each floor, progressing to the next floor after each one, with every 3rd floor being a boss plus a roof with a final boss arena. Should play/progress similar to rogue-lites or arcade fighting games, already has systems built, already has a blockout for each floor, just needs art and then encounters written (I could teach you to write them, or write them myself). It is aptly titled "The Tower".

The 2nd, Slipspace Arena, is more free form. The premise is that there are 9 separate play spaces on a single level (not dissimilar to The Tower in that way) and that players are in one of them at random each round. I already have a PvP version of this with 9 1v1/2v2 arenas, but was wanting to build out a PvE version, which would likely end up having Prison of Elders (Destiny) vibes.

The 3rd just needs art (and some UX updates thanks to the most recent Forge update that would be my responsibility). It's a minigame I made in Halo 5 that I recreated for Infinite, Battlegoose; essentially battleship, but with mongooses and grenades. The level is tiny-spartan themed, a giant room with the play area as a board game on a table. The art was started by Ludo awhile back, but he's no longer doing Halo things.

There are a couple groups that share all forge knowledge with each other. If you're making a map they are invaluable for learning how. But it will still largely depend on you, there aren't many people willing to directly enter a map or script of someone they aren't familiar with. BUT people will always happily give advice and direction to those who ask and open a relevant topic in their forge help sections.

Direct join in session help is more rare because it can be a time sink - a person can drop out, give up or disappear. There are groups of very experienced forgers who work together often bc they know eachother, are very responsive, and know no one will vanish off the earth.

The Scripter's Guild is best for forge help with a huge help database, HaloFunTime is best for some forge help and for finding people who may help test play

Yeah I just wanted to ask and I do plan on doing majority of the work myself as it's my map but because I'm inexperienced and is my first map especially with how sophistcated Halo Infinite's forge is that allows people to make huge and complex maps in the first place, there's a lot I need to learn and experimenting on my own and looking up tutorials on youtube won't be enough for me. Hellooo everyone, as of today I am currently looking for people (at least one other person) to help me figure how to set up a Halo Reach (MCC) Territories game (Figuring out how the capture points work in forge and in practice). I've made a WW1 trench map (keep in mind this is the first map I've worked on with my Xbox so have mercy, I know it looks bad but I'm not very experienced w/ forge) that I really want to use with the Territories game mode so i can finalize it all and upload my very first map onto the multiplayer customs browser so other people can play. Please keep in mind that I am doing ALL of this through my Xbox one, so the setting it up so others can play might be different from PC. Imagine a map with different game modes, players walk into one room and are now in an infection match with other players, if they leave they are no longer playing and their score resets. They go into a different room and they are now playing CTF or odd ball. What kind of script do we need to build for this be possible?
