I love how the 3D models up close are just close enough to the character portraits to be recognizable but at the same time look kind of.. off. Like some sort of Hades knockoff. It's excellent modelling work, don't get me wrong, but quite obvious that it was done by a different artist once you see up close.

the second biome can be either fast or slow depending on the kind of room setup you get, i find getting a lot of the larger rooms slows me down quite a bit because of how mobile many of the enemies are. third biome will take the longest to get through and often tends to be a progression block for many players. fourth biome is pretty small

it may be a bit discouraging initially to die and have to start over, but unlike other games of the genre, you're not really punished for losing a run, due to how the narrative works. you have your meta resources that you keep after runs, and you come back and get more story (and in some cases gameplay content) to unlock between runs
even the characters treat your deaths as part of the nature of things happening around the world so while it may be disappointing to lose a run you were working a good build on, it never fully feels like a loss

I was playing beowulf and I got lucky in tartarus and at the beginning of asphodel I was set up for heart rend, mirage shot, and fully loaded. Then at the end of elysium if got none of those boons. even though I got 2 artemis boons, 2 poseidon boons, and 1 aphro boon.

They may or may not add content. Historically it's unlikely; the only time they have done dlc was for Bastion, and that was a bit of a different situation because it was their first release and published by WB. Trying to unlock aspect of lucifer. Have cleared the game several times. have guang yu available, spent blood on exagryph (maxed aspect of zag and lvl 3 aspect of eris), but zeus won't give me the waking words

the dialogue likely just hasn't cycled through
number of game clears don't matter. so long as you've met the requirements to see a certain dialogue, it'll come up eventually. the game only checks that the requirements have been met and places that dialogue in your available pool that can come up when you speak with someone. so long as you're still getting new dialogue everything should be working as intended, you're just unfortunately having bad luck with it

Just finished a sweet run with achilles spear and ice wine. Dash + 4x cast was dealing over 3000 damage with no crits. More if I got a lucky crit obviously.
Its a pretty fun build. Sucks to have to deal with dionysis cast without ice wine though

heya, if the game is giving you trouble, you might try turning on god mode in the pause menu to give you more damage reduction. it starts you at +20% reduction and increases 2% each time you die, until capping out at 80%

A lot of casts work well with Poseidon aspect, some of the popular ones are Athena, Aphrodite & Poseidon, the aspect can make any cast usable tho. For special you could use it as an activator for duo boons, for example if you're using Poseidon Cast you can get Artemis Special and aim for Mirage shot, or Aphro Cast + Athena Special for Parting shot, it depends on what you have in mind, you dont have to use the special as a duo activator, you can use the attack instead for example and use the special for a certain debuff like Doom... Or just leave it empty :D
Unlodgable casts are less common with Poseidon aspect however, such as Dionysis, Ares and Demeter Cast, they are often used with Achilles Spear for a bigger buff since you dont care about the Dislodging gimmick that Poseidon Aspect offers, still doesnt mean they're bad or a run killer by any means.
