I found that trying to get as many as 1 gods boons is better than going for a ton of other gods boons at a time. only took me 11 hours

ares' boons are a lot better than I thought they were until I went with an aries-heavy loadout

apart from dealing damage (obviously), mobility is key, keep dodging his attacks which are very easy to manage once you get used to them after a few tens of runs. i actually prefer to not destroy the skulls because i'd rather be doing damage directly to the man himself, and i just dodge out of the way of the skull's waves

@unreal shard In addition to whatever damage-dealing boons you like, get Quick Favor from Hermes. Dealing consistent damage can be risky in that fight so having your God Gauge charge automatically really helps. Also, if you're finding you're leaving ||Styx|| with low health I'd recommend Strong Drink.

You can, as the devs put it, ||”hug your dad”||, in that when they use the lasers, you can stand in the same spot they’re on and they won’t hit you.

This is true, but also a risky strat because the cooldown from that move is over pretty fast. Nothing worse than ||leaving a hug|| only to get ||stabbed in the back||.
