@tropic zodiac the route passes through 39 timed chambers - only 5 of which are normal combat chambers. The rest are Chaos, Shops, Styx tunnels, Minibosses, or Bosses. It maximizes efficiency of rooms where time is stopped by putting them at the last possible chamber per biome. It is hard to imagine a route getting any more efficient than this one is, to be honest. I have a feeling that a lot of the time will be saved by finding more efficient manips and just getting better at the combat itself.

You want Athena dash as early as possible. If you gift her a nectar, and run her keepsake, you'll have a much better time
Then you just pray for some Artemis/Aphrodite. Artemis will greatly increase your damage. Aphrodite will give you a damage buff and make your enemies hit you for less damage

Ares' "Curse of Vengeance: After you take damage, inflict doom damage on those around you." Does this count as a revenge effect? Athena's revenge effect has a pop-up that indicates it is a revenge effect, but Ares' doesn't.
I want to make sure it stacks with the Zeus/Areas duo boon that makes revenge effects sometimes proc without taking damage

Hello, i recently got in the same run Trippy Shot from Dyonisius (your cast lobs a large explosive that burst into Festive Fog) and Flurry Cast from Hermes (Your Cast is 40% faster. Hold to fire in rapid succession) in the same run, is this the worst posible combination of boons? because i cannot hold to fire my cast in rapid succession, because i have to manually aim for each individual cast, is the 40% worth it? does it even apply?

Please tell me im misunderstanding something, im about 5 hours in and loving the game but after reading about the progression system im pretty sure i never want to play it again in my life, titan blood can only be obtained from beating furries or final boss with modifiers right?

Just slower.

And then you can do trades from Charon or from the Broker in the House of Hades and slowly gain some.
You could probably cheat yourself 500 titan's blood if you don't like it.

Basically, each weapon can earn 42 blood playing through all 20 bounties.
And costs 51 to fully upgrade. Which really isn't mandatory, honestly.
But with trades and saving up 1500 for the end game, it's very achievable.

My logic is that Zag aspects are for the most part, perfectly usable.

where as with darkness, you're effectively "buying" 8 heat off your run by upgrading darkness

And many of the fun aspects don't really need to be maxed out to be fun.
Like Hera bow or 4th Rail, etc.

getting all the weapon upgrades really isn't worth all that much, just something to do when you've obtained everything else and don't have anything better to spend titan blood or ambrosia on. Out of the four aspects each weapon has, you're likely to attach to two of them at most for each weapon, so it takes way less time to grind out the upgrades for just the weapons you bother playing with

i dont enjoy the difficulty curve and grind in some roguelikes but honestly i like (most) of the heat system in hades. extreme measures is fun

Yeah I'm the same way, I stopped playing dead cells after my first completion. But hades handles it way better

worth noting though is that i dont play hades for the gameplay, i am encouraged to do runs because i'm more interested in collecting dialogue. so thats my motivation to do runs

Thats the thing, i like the base game A LOT i hate throwing random modifiers on it? i understand that it kinda increases replayability and thats fine but its genuinely something i dont want to use but am forced to because i want to farm blood

I was also on the side of not getting into the pact when I beat the game but I definitely warmed up to it because it does change up how you play the game in a meaningful way
When you get a lot of darkness and blood, heat 0 is almost too easy
