Do you need tips for the boss fight itself or before?
If the trouble is the boss fight and you are struggling after a lot of fights, it might be a good idea for you to just focus on dodging for 5 minutes, without attacking. This might help your brain understand his boss patterns.
Shield is a good weapon too as others have ocmmented, since you can using it as protection.

I never get the boons whenever I try it but I only have like 200 runs so no sample size for me
