Eris is a good option, farming darkness is mostly just completing runs, try to force poseidon and grab chaos whenever possible but trying to be fast would probably save you some time in the process

Rails such as Eris and Hestia can improve a lot with Hammers but you're likely to find something alright/usable if the strongest option is not available. They're also very versatile and can work with multiple builds so you can be less picky and save your rolls for Chaos/Poseidon to get more darkness. Honestly would recommend picking something you're comfortable and consistent with, Bows are probably what I'd pick

Keys lose their use once you've maxed out the mirror on both sides and unlocked all weapons. You can just trade them.
Crystals are for the house contractor or for trading. Some companion stuff needs house contact work to be done though (specifically ||upgrading the lounge for Dusa||).
Once you're getting gems for beating bosses you'll soon have more than you know what to do with though, so trading a few for nectar isn't an issue.
Once you've got everything else, the resources director is the final way to spend resources if you're really bored. That's just bragging rights though.
