might get a duo boon in tartarus or in asphodel
you dont really need to save all your money until the endshop in styx, especially because by then your build should be done. styx shouldn't be a place to patch up your build. ofc sometimes it happens, it's better to not have that happen

Hi, had a run yesterday where all my first boons from each god was one of those bigger boons? Where the boons were all rare minimum, like those you get in skull rooms. There was also special dialogue about getting better boons and a special noise(like with duo boons or story related) was made when I interacted with it
Does anyone know whether that's a story thing or whether that's a luck thing? Am 200+ runs in, completed the main story and everything, just before this I think I might've finished all my quests or almost all of them(specifically the fishing one)

Fair note the narative and dialog is pretty cool and interesting and the game itself has a great atmosphere to a rougelike game, with multiple playstyles you are sure to have fun with it with a little sense of creativity
So there is more to this game than can meet the eye and is praised because of it. If you do like it then there is a sequel coming early access next year
