If Heat gauge says you need 8 Heat, for example, then you'll get the 8 Heat rewards if you do a run with 8+ Heat.
You won't get the 9 Heat rewards etc.
Need to finish 8 Heat rewards first.

From my own experience in general, I am fairly sure that Swift Flourish speeds up everything about a Special including cooldown. I haven't verified that in a recording, though.

if you want a faster time, i'd recommend not using chiron because it's known for being slow but it's still definitely possible to get a sub10 with it if you want to optimize it more

Yeah I very nearly got an 8 minute run but got screwed by sack rng. I know Hestia was one of the main speedrun weapons back when I was actively speedrunning, not sure if that still is the case. I unfortunately suck with the rail lol

There's a starter guide for 32 heat pinned in #h1-high-heat-strategies which includes some suggested weapons. In the end though the weapon to use will be what you're most comfortable and confident with
And don't feel like you have to use the pact setup in that guide, it works but there are lots of viable options for 32

if you're not using a castpect, you only use your cast to 1) open duos 2) apply boiling blood 3) use flood shot for styx shredder
