anyway @lucid cypress to answer your question i think it is very difficult . but its a matter of telling yourself that more than one good thing can exist at once, and that someone loving a piece of art that isnt yours doesnt mean they took their love away from yours to give it to somebody else.

i think the matter of comparing ourselves to others is something thats inherently hard to answer and deal with because its kind of in our nature to do so, even subconsciously. i def get where you're coming from, and i know it can be really frustrating to try and process and get around, but its really important you dont let it eat at you. its something that can destroy you and your motivation. it destroyed mine a decade ago and never recovered and i dont want to see other people go through that. you definitely have skill that can be nurtured further, if you allow it to thrive. i think instead of comparing yourself to other artists, you might need to adjust your mindset to something more like assessing what you can improve on rather than thinking of what people do better than you

alright. Not super familiar with Ryzen, so I did a bit of quick research. The 9 is measurably better according to most of the sites I looked at, and costs about $150-200 more than the 7 (to just buy it).

I'd say trumpet, but that's probably because it's been longer since I played it a lot. The higher notes (like, above the staff) are just hard to reach, and it can only go so low. But french horn? My range was over 4 octaves
