for most f2p players, they should be able to pull most new releases but keeping up with all crystal income in this game can be pretty demanding. There's a good amount of tasks where you would spend way too much time for way too little crystals (e.g. events you don't personally enjoy)

but overall if you enjoy the game at masters tier and/or don't expect to change your rate of pulling new releases then i think it makes sense for you to stay in masters and not breakthrough

• how abyss will change (competition wise and what teams you will need)
• what you currently have and where you should expect to be from it
• the general expectations from pulling a rerun

for accounts that are new or returning without much astral ring stuff, SW dkey is a cheap cost (weapon only. the valk is farmable) to gain some astral ring coverage (mainly support to Law of Ascension leader teams which are not farmable). For this, it's fine to pick up late in the patch.

• there will be a free senadina from events in the same patch to help with early team building
• if you're getting it late, do wait for the next new valk info before deciding

for any accounts that are developed already or at least covered general roles SW will fill, SW uniquely/additionally offers

• ice bio ranged world star dps. There will be specific scenarios like Echoing HoC/Ice Husk /ranged kalpas? that will favor her most
  • perhaps there will be secondary scenarios in lower abyss tiers where you can still make use of her if you don't have the primary option but I also don't expect strong performance from SW in particular
  • for high meta, do expect to compete against teams with high SW ranks, notable WS supports, and SS Youyun gacha op
  • historically going by other dkey p2 valks, i don't expect SW to be emphasized for as long as a regular gacha valk. (HoHE dkey as main dps kiiiiinda lasted four versions until HLE's release, although HoHE is still being used as support recently)
• surplus mechanic to World Star teams, either for herself as a leader or for other leaders when she is a support.
  • I'm not too concerned about this mechanic for most players because this does more encourage having ARI (energy for outburst) which eventually boils down to getting gacha astral ops that I do NOT recommend to developing f2p players.
• +10 atk globally and passively to all valks from the dorm menu since this is still a dkey
  • but this mainly matters at the top of the meta. 60 pulls solely for this is highly questionable
• possible high hitcount utility? but other valks like PS sushang and Vita can cover these too if you have them.

if developed, you would ideally pick up SW dkey at the start of the patch to not miss out on any abyss cycles that emphasizes her. If you have to miss any, then you might consider skipping to wait for the next release to ensure getting full value from your crystals spent.

In that regard for you specifically Tuhu, I think it's fair if you want to skip SW to prep for the next upcoming valk. But this is also weird to consider for masters where scenarios are not as specific

that does seem like a decent roster. Tbh i wouldn't be opposed to breaking through with it and overall/mostly expect Agony 3 retain at least. At that point considering your crystals atm, I would skip and wait to pick up the next release early in the patch.

If you're staying in masters then things aren't as demanding there and maybe you can exercise more of your own preference.

oh but also keep in mind SEA server is a bit more competitive than GLB

Echoing HoC - SW ideal. Maybe you can brute through this with HoRb dps with vita and hofi supports (i don't expect strongly of this)

Fire Kosma - Sparkle dps. But maybe FDD with Vita and HoFi can handle this. People tend to struggle in qua scenarios so you can prob handle this if you play well enough.

Extreme Flying Fish - PAWS dps with XDC/RS support ideal here? But you can try PS dps for type counter with XDC for stun utility. Boss doesn't bleed very well so PS isn't as ideal.

Ice Husk - SW. You can try to bruteforce with HLE dps

Type counter Hudou - Thelema dps. High freeze emphasis. Again brute with HLE dps

Dominance Tribunal - HoRb or LV dps. I'm not sure but you have HoRb.

For any dkey valks, assess what rank they currently are. They are older valks so it's normal for them to be higher ranks

But none of this matters to you if you're staying in masters. Also note you must breakthrough earlier before an abyss cycle reset if you want to be in exalted for any of these cycles.

Also just to elaborate more on what lyo said, this applies to basically any valk you miss. F2p cannot expect to get everything so needing to skip something will eventually happen. (if not skipping SW dkey, then you'll be skipping something else down the line or vice versa)

But the idea is to get as much as you properly can (full valk and weapon together) to handle most (not all) situations.

And for any lacking scenarios, in lower abyss tiers you can still attempt with a secondary option as elaborated above.

your rotation should look something like this
Turn off VBm's QTE
At the start of the fight, press VBm wa 2x, then shortly before the boss spawns, jump -> basic attack so that hits the boss and that you generate a dot above VBm's HP bar, then press WA, which consumes the dot and debuffs the enemy (this specific attack also restores ARI if stellar drain is available).

growth regimen has a very early mission for that and gives you 1 Battlesuit Supply pull as a reward (the one for Valkyrie Supply banners). Ideally you skip and complete it later when you obtain a Dorm Supply Card, which you can only use on Dorm Supply and lets you keep the 200 crystals for something else

there's a similar mission in Phase 1 for the Starter Supply, but you get those crystals fully refunded from the mission rewards

You technically have HH, but she also needs her DKey, and since it's much older it's probably not going to come back for some time (and she's incredibly niche anyways)

HTR is also technically an option but you need HoO and HFI w DKey as well for her to be useful, any P1 teams she still supports are essentially extinct in this day and age

She's even more niche than HH

SW is really ur only decent option from a meta perspective

FDD works really well with her VBm self, and you can share VBm’s weapon between them. they’re a super handy support duo. so unless you super duper love FWS’s design and are ok with the idea of missing out on the next valkyrie, I would tend to save.
if you do super duper love FWS, think carefully about the missing the next valk aspect. that can feel really bad often. so if you’re at all likely to feel down for things being hard, take that into account
