Keep onto the box, it is most likely that new players who pick up SW's Divine Key will use it to unlock her since WT farming is not fast enough.||

I feel like the hardest part for me about Part2 is actually trying to find out how you are supposed to play and maximize rotations and outputs of valks when they are supports. Finding the matching ring features is one thing, actually making use of them is another

Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

so don't be afraid to churn through stamina items early on if you need them, you won't be needing them later

  • Honkai Pieces > Possible Armada Comissions. Otherwise these are used to craft specific cheap basic stigs in foundry > Salvage into further NCCs if you want to bypass the daily cap. Not really common practice nowadays.
  • Honkai blocks if you really want to rush dorm development but long term efficient answer is to just farm them slightly every day (very cumbersome process.

• I think some time capsule purchases can be coins in cost too. Might as well get them for collection at worst if you're ahead on coins.

tbh affixes aren't something to worry about early on (your equipment/team/execution matters much more and affixes may not fix those)

RL retain can still be quite slack in the grand scheme of things

ultimately the idea is affixes are slight damage gain (mostly via relevant atk stats)

if that damage makes a difference for your ranking then get them if you can afford them

i also don't care if you're clearing the fight significantly if you're not making a difference in your trophies in your abyss rankings. Maybe you're only rising from 7th to 4th, or maybe you're already in first and are overkilling

(Edit: going from (for RL) 3rd to 1st, or 10th to 5th, etc is still valid for being safe/buffering from people overtaking you last minute)

generally the only meta relevant weapons to focus upon nowadays are signature gacha weapons for the specific valk. So advice is just saving crystals like you would for the valk.

it's really just case by case. Nothing really exists in a vacuum in this game. What matters ultimately is your timed score but also how that score matches against other people

nowadays keep in mind any valk can be used as a dps or as a support depending on how they slot in the team

so everybody just goes for atk (or crit dmg too if non-bleed phys)

not to say sp considerations are non-existent now. There can be very niche scenarios

sure but also it's really just relative to the situation

if you're below RL, but have proper and fitting teams to the cycle, and are playing properly, affixes shouldn't be the reason why you fail to gain trophies (at least normally. Maybe you coincidentally wind up in a bracket with a bunch of other returnees that are tryharding back up)

overall whether you should affix or not should be more ideally responsive to a given specific scenario you're dealing with atm

but later on when you have excess resources and your competition is heavy, it becomes a standard (everyone around you is also doing it) to have high affixes so you can do it preemptively then

for new/developing players i don't recommend it because it's possible the valks you affixed heavily early on drops drastically in use by the time you reach a meta point where it's relevant

tldr and overly simplified make sure what resources you're spending actually are achieving actual changes in outcome and rewards

Keep in mind eventually HI3 becomes a game where you compete against other players in abyss. It's a meta standard for people to generally have the signature weapon.

Without that signature weapon any valkyrie may lose

• significant personal damage (usually 30-40% compared to some next best alternative) which is too much. In many cases you wouldn't consider dps'ing with that valk very well at that point. At that point using a second best weapon that is very expensive isn't that different from using the worst weapon that's very cheap.
• in certain cases but not all, that valk may gain specific important utility from that weapon (e.g. sparkle can collapse qua enemies a second time. By contrast, FWS kiana doesn't gain anything too important for support. Just some passive team buffs)

there can be exceptions if you really know what you're doing (people have retained red lotus without signature weapons before. some luck may be involved with grouping with people who don't score well)

Solo doesn't really work in this game. The buffs/debuffs you gain from supporting teammates are literal multipliers that drastically amplify your damage.

Or maybe you meant using them in Elysian Realm which does have adjustments and scalings for solo uses?

Both of these valks are dps in different ways and not really comparable. Aponia is a lightning dps while Sirin is an ignite/fire dps. Metawise they're both out of date and not recommended to invest heavily on.

Perhaps there's some absolute answer in a neutral scenario but HI3 is full of nuanced scenarios.

If you want advice on building towards meta, we can help with that. Normally considered because that's how you get more crystals from abyss but by no means an absolute requirement.

For elysian realm i'm not quite sure tbh. Both can prob clear if well invested enough but i doubt that's the case for you. Otherwise you can try looking through the stage effects and load buffs and see what's more relevant to one or the other. Note stage effects will probably change tomorrow to favor the new Mei who is physical.

well other things i would consider trying are HLE dps with Badum Kiana and VBm supports (VBm doesn't match well here but it's the best to consider of what you have)

or if you want to continue considering Rita dps, try her with JDS (not normally a notable WoD support nowadays but fast to buff with QTE, can maybe deal some notable physical damage in the process) and HLE supports. Maybe thelema support too if you need something just fast rather than higher damage.

vbm wouldn't be a good support for rita

so if rita is leader, we mainly look at her ring type

which is wheel of destiny. Don't worry about the meaning of these words. It's just a name.

this ring type's playstyle involves using phantoms to deal damage/gain effects

every ring type in the game has a tag it matches with

and these tags are what you want on your supports (edit: the non-leaders)

the tag that matches with wheel of destiny is called "harmonized shadow star"

so HLE has that. VBm does not

generally a matching tag provides better buffs but also core mechanics for that ring type's gimmicks

in the case of whele of destiny in its outburst state, a phantom called from a shadow star support will give you a longer uptime of enhanced effects

a rotation refers to the order you cycle team members. Mainly to maximize the dps' damage. You only control one valk at a time usually so it makes the most sense to have two supports that set up effects, then swap to the dps last to capitalize before the support effects are done

do you know where to look to find their main team boosting effects?

so this is for HLE

you can see after triggering some kind of condition (there's multiple) you get some effect called heart's splendor. This is basically her main team boosting effect and you can see that name plastered everywhere throughout her other stigmata descriptions. Every valk has a similar but different fancy name.

You want to trigger this effect before dealing real damage.

So you can see the ways to trigger it are:

• Hitting with her Weapon Skill
• Hitting with her QTE
• Enter Stellar Outburst

You don't have to trigger all of these. Just any one of them will do.

Post breakthrough abyss changes to a format where you are put into a bracket with 20 other players and your abyss tier is decided by how well you do in comparision with other people.
You can decide to not breakthrough if you don't want this to happen.

Planeroids are exchangable for more attempts for Material Events stages. You can only have up to 50 at once!

Captain will obtain Planeroids when Material Event stage attempts are not used. Make sure you remember to use them, and if you obtain Planeroids use them ASAP! If you're obtaining Planeroids abnormally, ensure that you have cleared the highest difficulty of all Material Stages with all 3 objectives completed.

or the parts box on the upper left which are from schicksals HQ open world. Those do have some use for progression there but eventually you can max it out and wind up with excess

and you want to focus on building up her meter and consuming it

one not so intuitive method (the tutorial does cover this though iirc) is to evade > attack > weapon iirc (this will consume your evasion skill. you will see a blue bar around the perimeter indicating it's on cooldown)

• Can be used to craft its respective PRI-ARM.
• Gives you Divine Key bonuses such as +10 accountwide attack (see the Divine Keys Menu).

-# Please note that if you pull multiple copies of a Stellar Key (Part 2 Divine Key) you tune the one you will be upgrading - note that locked copies cannot be used to upgrade its Synergy level until unlocked, which takes 24h.

So if it’s a bio enemy her personal damage is going to be notable

Well the decision is up to you in the end, from a meta perspective skins don't really serve any use so the advice would be to just skip them but if you think that the skin is worth it the crystals for you then going for it is fine as well imo.
In the end it's all about weighing the positives and negatives for yourself and then deciding.

Just have enough pulls to guarantee the skin because it's like a 80% chance you'll get it in the last pull

I restarted the game (made a new account bcz mine was too old) bcz i saw hle that’s why i’m excited about her skin. Ill try farming and if i have enough ill go for it or ill skip it to pull other charas

it also kinda depends on what you're going for in the meta. Both can be important at a high level (but this also assumes weapon which i don't recommend catching up on anymore)

but for a lower level, it won't matter so much as supports. P2 is alot more balanced as long as the team matches each other

no. Ranks from gacha on new releases are largely optional for most intents and purposes and only for very high leaderboard rankings
