Herrscher of thunder is very outdated and not particularly viable for competitive content but if you just want to use her you could try Valkyrie Blastmetal and Reverist Calico

Since they work and they’re cheap

If you mean for 0sec MA clears then that will require gear you don’t have like seven thunders but you’d want Herrscher of Flamescion for that

Coming back because i want the new Mei i think next update? Whats important to catch up on, and how can i maximise my crystals? I have 5.5k right now. Is there any spending events to abuse now or coming up?

the team itself is decent you'd probably want to use badum over peregrine sword here since she can reduce the max HP of sd enemies but it shouldnt matter too much and you should still be able to clear the stage
for stage one paws/fdd/ps should do good enough, just make sure to make paws the leader and if you don't know how to play her test her out in her tutorial that should be enough for that stage

also the stage provides some SP regen buffs in SO so you can spam ults a bit more than normally

if yes then no, you need a certain number of shards to obtain a character and then after that you can use those shards to upgrade the characters, how many shards you actually need can very per character.
there may also be some ways to obtain fragments that only work if you own the character like rank up stamps

yeah they are for both unlocking and upgrading, there's also something called a character card that will just instantly unlock the character e.g. when you pull the character and once you've obtained them any additional character cards will convert into fragments

no not really you actually want to get them, vbm is also free from p2 story (which the starter manual wants you to do anyway) if you want to minmax but it's not a huge concern, though with your rather limited asterite funds atm i would prob unlock TA -> get vbm from p2 story -> focus on ranking up vbm

Longterm you get everything here for ER crystals and Asterite isn't an particular scarce resource so what you do don't matter that much. It can matter a bit for delayed pri arms on gacha weapons if you need to buy pri arm mats with Asterite.

generally your max priority after you got yourself in a decent position and don't really need any other valks from the asterite shop would be to upgrade vbm to SSS as soon as possible as it's also mentioned in the asterite investment list in the pins

And then there’s hi love elf. HLE is also ice and was released last patch

• Sena is unexceptional as a world star support but if you lack options you could use her to support people like simp or sparkle or horb
  As a dps Sena is mostly dead but you would want to look into Vita usually, and then Hofi or Badum or HLE or Horb depending on abyss (can also do one of them over vita)

generally speaking you would slowly unlock everyone from there (and can get them to s rank) not because you'll use them for meta use (outside of blastmetal) but because you'll need in a game mode called shallow sequence in elysian realm for crystals as well as dorm levels that give you permanent stats
two of these characters are in stress test that if you finish all dedicated stages then you get an equipment ticket per stress test

but all n all i would just follow the guide i told you and you can adjust later when you get all the necessities

Competitive teams for abyss typically require 3 gacha battlesuits with full gear. Obviously newbies don’t have that, so they make use of what they can get. At first this means free characters with free supports, then 1-2 gacha characters with cope supports, then eventually they’re caught up.

Valkyrie BlastMetal is the best cope support for all gacha battlesuits pretty much, and is nearly as good as the BiS option in a handful of cases (RoO)

Terminal Aide and Reverist Calico are not as good as blastmetal but they’re the next best cope supports to round out a team, generally speaking

• Thelema Sync 2
• Further Thelema ranks

And then a tier down from that would be like

• HoHE ranks
• Getting hofi if you don’t already have waxing

And everything else is just for MA or nothing

But even the top priority stuff here isn’t super impactful

to put this in perspective you get around 20-25k a patch whilst retaining the second highest rank in this game, this may take you some while because you need coverage but before that your beginner income will substitute the income loss

one of the more common scenarios is to deactivate someones qte because you don't need it and qtes extend the switch CD of the valkyrie you switched off the field, sometimes valks also may use this for things that are more kit dependent but you don't really have the valks with something like that for example, you can turn off VBm's QTE btw you'll probably never really need it

no you're misunderstanding. These are referral codes.

Since you're a newer player, you can use ONE code (mango's or someone else) from your own server to get immediate crystals, complete tasks so the code giver gain crystals. This is SEPARATE from the 5 times of code redemptions you mentioned earlier.

For the latter, you give out your own code rather than using it. EDIT: 5 other people have to use it (hence sharing it in random channels/rooms or creating alt accounts. For alt accounts, beware you need to complete manual missions before the code giver gains crystals)

3 - Jizo Mitama (katana, phys gene limit attached to it).
4 - Star of Eden (cannon, has no attached gene limit it just exists).

tbh despite your small roster, you have enough to support any ring type currently so i wouldn't be concerned/"sad" about it too generally

building a roster takes time but you do want to keep up with all crystal sources to minimize skips as much as possible in a concentrated long term duration

anyway see how much you can accumulate for now. 40k is the safe amount for a new valk/weapon. You mainly want to get a new valk early in the patch to get full mileage from her abyss cycles/shills

i know that mei is the chinese new year valk and those are pretty much always powerful valkyries so i do want to get her

a grail ring type is nice to have but it's only specifically shilled directly with extreme weather

and overall will be niche with everything else. What's more important is to focus on the latest releases since various abyss weather+boss combinations will suit them.

Luna does fit this bill but at the cost of her cheaper investment, she'll prob fall off more quickly and you don't seem to have her well ranked to compete with veterans who already had her

you can kind of think of it as like what's trendy/in season. No sense in going after some mech/psy coverage when a bio new release happens, and more abyss bosses are going to be psy.

And by the time some new mech comes along, your older mech specific valk will be more out of date, or even not relevant to the scenario with some other mechanic/angle. Maybe they don't have SD gimmicks/suitable ring type/status/utility/etc
