Hi! I just watched some of the animated videos mainly Himeko and Elysia related ones and man I wanna experience this game’s story so badly but I’m afraid starting now would put me too far behind and I don’t know if I wanna add a 4th gacha to my list (ZZZ, HSR, WuWa)

Do you guys have any other recommendations for how to experience the story maybe like a youtuber that does in depth analysis or breakdowns of chapters that way I don’t necessarily have to go through the gacha grind

Or do you recommend jumping in? I’m not sure how new player friendly the game is or how the combat even works tbh so I’m completely open to suggestions I just don’t wanna start the game and have a huge grind ahead of me and have that be the reason I don’t get to enjoy the story cause it looks absolutely peak

The gacha and the story are pretty unconnected with each other as you get trial valks for story chapters after chapter 8 so if you just want to read the story you can just do that and not think about the gacha component.
There a few places which have the full story chapters up on youtube if you want to just experience the story that way.

Assuming meta, the best valk is the current valk on banner to summon most of the time. People don’t recommend back pulling (pulling for a past character), & Durandal on banner was released a few patches ago.

The rec is to save your gems for the anniversary character (coming in 2 patches) since they’re usually super strong. The next character (check #🔮cn-gameplay-discussion ) is also pretty strong

No you're not supposed to "summon" (pull/roll) for now. Nothing is worth pulling currently. If there's something currently available you really like then maybe we can discuss further on what you're getting out of it.

Tasks in this game don't always go by dailies or weeklies btw. Bear in mind:

• abyss occurs 2x a week. This is your main crystal income source (mon fri)
• open world occurs 3x a week (mon thurs sat). This place is efficient for resources.

The main weekly mode to level up to unlock is elysian realm at cap lv 50. (Can get 500 crystals a week here)

the former is imaginary and is very tanky since you need to chew through two separate bars of hp for each phase. I may consider giving up on this (do give it a test attempt first though. no idea how buffed mode will help there)

Beast of sacrifice might be more reasonable especially if we're giving up on bygone to allocate best valks there. You do want a valk with a jump (p2) or block mechanic (e.g. BKE) to handle transitioning to p2

i only was willing to consider this if you absolutely need it for clearing SSS MA for crystals if no other alternative exists

but otherwise the box doesn't expire, it's a waste to spend resources leveling those weapons for actual use, you never know if they'll give those weapons again in the future in more restricted ways (so picking now may force a dupe on you)

the main benefit of those weapons are for the dorm menu so you can tune it for +10 atk

you're not going to be using a weaker valk to clear the weekly deep sequence for 500 crystals. Any valk can work for that

you only need weaker valks to bring them up to lv 15 (easy to do with lite), get all their ely signets into collection, and clear their shallow sequences for a total of 620 crystals pervalk

so the weapon isn't going to be necessary for that

otherwise in general contexts a level cap would more mean capped as in maxed out, a ceiling, can't go any further

the max captain level is 88 for example

there are multiple open world maps each with their own progress levels and a shared adventure level, all with their own caps

You’re already doing Badum WA + Ult for the SP back and you’re overkilling

You’re also losing a bunch of points in the intro

I might try starting with HLE ult as it spawns into buffing and see if I could get it down to one rot for part 1

If you can’t make that work, you could skip the Badum ult at the start so you have it at :36 and can skip the FDD qte
