ari is here is quite funny, i wouldn't say you always get to 163, but it gets to 163 often enough times for me.

evade and jump at basically the same time, in between the two cans to get +2 ari, i actually didn't get it on the first one, but yeah i still got enough to ring soon, but maybe half a point gain if u got it on both, or if you only got 162, then you can kind of still save yourself here.

then time your weap early for +3, note even tho i shot it when he still invul, the weap like hangs around a bit or something, so it still hits, .

as for whether doing the evades on ely or cora makes a difference, i dont really know. we could also potentially change the part after i froze him at 927 and maybe try to fit a helia ult and then coralie qte so your ely weap+ult will be buffed, but i havent tried either

Essentially HoFi is cheaper (if you alr have her), but less valuable

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

VBm

• before boss spawns ult or weapon active to set up buffs
• when boss spawns either ult or jump attack weapon to hit and debuff. Do latter if you want to outburst sooner than later (stellar drain)
• maybe a weapon active > swap out to cancel

PAWS

• QTE (has to hit) to buff
• ult for stellar drain if rushing to first outburst.
  • Can skip the ult at first if you anticipate not rushing to outburst asap and instead expecting buffs running out before outburst. At that point you may need to swap back to her to refresh buffs. Ult from PAWS refreshes HLE's swap QTE due to symbiosis tag.

Keep in mind support effects are 25s each. Use the top right corner to track it. Maybe do one run to scout and get an idea of how many cycles you can do.

HLE dps

• first outburst can depend on how much longer before heph goes invulnerable
  • i highly doubt you'll get enough time to do a full length outburst before it happens
  • if you can outburst early, maybe you can do a short one (using ult to end it early and refunding some ARI) then work your way towards a second one later in the fight (i don't expect this strat at agony)
  • or you can wait until invul is done, then do a full length outburst. You may need to refresh your buffs manually before the invul period.
• remember outburst refresh team buffs...
• and ending outburst refreshes HLE's weapon active

Tbh i haven't done the fight yet so I don't actually have a strong sense of how it will go. It's possibly i'm completely off about all this

the thing about vbm ult is that it has some suspended animations (not mentioned anywhere in the game. you just need to know). This slows down the boss. It slows down the MA timer but not the abyss timer

so you're stalling the boss while losing time. If you need the extra debuffs it offers (2pc) to skip a buff refresh later then maybe it's fine (usually only seen on sprout of wishing)

i haven't watched the video yet but if you're going with one extended outburst immediately after the invul period (it's not a phase change), then you're wasting time because outburst applies this debuff anyway.

so the main time we ever really vbm ult is at the start of the fight when the timer isn't counting down, there's no boss to slow, and you're waiting for the boss to spawn anyway

ult not hitting won't debuff but it will give

• max passive buff stacks (3)
• 3 ari (not much but it's something)

ult aside, make sure to get coralie's debuff. Debuffs aren't as common as buffs so they usually are more significant

i underestimated how timings would line up in my initial write up

so it seems like you need both stellar drains to reach outburst after invul in time

and if you can outburst to rebuff/debuff instead of doing all those manual actions on your supports, that's alot faster

the idea is outburst is your biggest point of buff/debuffs. HLE's main outburst actions still leaves her a remainder of roughly 1/3 duration. Rather than ending outburst early, if you're looking to push damage to finish the fight, you can stay in outburst to do some basics.

you can see how i reapply VBm's buff throughout too but i don't think you'll need to resort to that if it goes ideally

there's some mistakes in that video though (like how i reapplied VBm before outbursting)

so don't follow it religiously or anything lol

also if you have VBm's stigs, use one more weapon active after the opener then cancel it immediately by swapping her out. You can see if you do it right based on the dots in her meter. Weapon actives consume dots

I think it would be better to start with FDD and hit the final basic attack when it spawns and then shift to HoHE and go from there. The fact that you are losing a ult after the first WA is pretty bad. I used a single dash after the first text shows up to time it properly.
When the boss stops being invinsible you can hit a WA at the correct time to immediately apply Rime Trauma. Ram should have a video of how this should look earlier in this channel.
In the end you are using her quite long WA to deal with the last bit of HP, you would rather use a few basics before ending SO to reduce the time loss. I would assume that a single one is enough but pre-applying Trauma should be enough to cover it in any case.
