(you cant have 6stars dkeys cause it forces you to tune them to make the pri arm version)

and you can only have one pri arm version of each dkey

I havent played in over two years. Didnt even start part 2 at all.
Just logged in and I kinda want to get back into it. My account is kind of a mess and to be fair I also didnt really know how to play even back in 2023.
Just a few questions right of the bat:

• Is Herrscher Trio still viable (one of the only "newer" units that i own)
• What valks are priority right now and how long do they stay relevant
• Hohe is free rn, is she worth building??

I think a lot of questions I have are really specific, I would prefer if someone would hop on vc here and just help me out

Trio is niche but usable if you have Hofi's dkey

as is hoo dps (same reason)

otherwise trio is unusable

Hohe is okay with her dkey but her dkey is probably not worth pulling, without her dkey not useful

Right now ideally you would want to get HLE + Wep but since the banner is going away in 2 weeks and you're a returnee you'll probably want to save for next patch instead

if you're in a rush to get back into meta you could theoretically pick up Hofi's dkey when it reruns in 4 weeks but it'll be getting you back to A3 bounce sooner at the cost of taking longer to hit RL reliably

so probably not if that's your goal

Herrscher Trio is pretty much my only existing team rn. I dont need to have usable teams right away.
I dont have much time, but i can manage some daily and weekly stuff. My main struggle right now is not knowing where to invest resources.
When im logged on i get overwhelmed by a lot of options. What does a daily + weekly routine look like?

I think the part 2 cast looks really cool, I like the new Helia, Thelema and Songque (dunno if they are still worth). No clue with whom they synergize with tho

Sonque is a WoD dps, so she theoretically wants Harmonized Shadow supports like Thelema or HLE or ||8.6 Rita||, but most people find her easier to use as a support in Law of Ascenscion teams due to her heavenly shift trait (LoA DPSes are Badum, Reign Solaris, peregrine sword)

Thelema is also a WoD dps, so she has the same supports, but she can also support World Star teams like sparkle or Horb with dkey

Unfortunately neither of those characters will be readily available for you unless you whale

Sparkle you literally just missed her carnival banner. She will have an Ascenscion banner in probably about two patches, where she’ll be cheaper to get; it’s probably not worth it from a meta pov but if you love her you can do it

And at least it’ll be cheaper

If you do decide to whale Thelema and her weapon are available in battlepass

But obviously that’s a decision only you can make

If you weren’t attached to your account you could also consider a new one but if you’re not interested playing a ton to catch up asap it probably doesn’t make sense

New accounts get more crystals faster, some of it’s from starter rewards or rerolling if you’re really dedicated but most of it is just - there’s a lot of 1 time crystals in story that you’ve already gotten and a new account hasn’t

I have these four stigmata selectors. I think I have had some of them for while, didint know what to pick. Some goes for the other items

Stigmata selectors for p2 stigmas aren't very useful unless you have the battlesuit they belong to, in which case you use them to grab any stigma you didnt get while rolling for their weapon

if you think you might get the battlesuit in the future, you can save them, if you really need prisms right now, you can open them and get a prism

prisms are used for forging and upgrading part 2 stigma

you will naturally accumulate them over time for playing, and also get them from salvaging duplicate stigmas

you can craft call of crescent in the foundry. It's not great, and not really worth upgrading unless you have a lot of spare asterite or honkai shards, but better than nothing

lots of people accumulate stamina. You can use them to farm for AE imaginions or to get fragments to increase dorm level if you want but daily stamina is plenty for everything high value (material expeditions, open world) and everything else is just marginal returns

so feel free to spend them on any mat you want to get more of or running every 12 stamina fragment mission every day or such until you're all out

and those are (probably, testing is still in progress) the most stamina efficient

Just a question regarding the weekly modes
I played through apho and apho2, liked them and the combat there a lot.
Havent done schicksal hq at all, dont even know what the gameplay there is like. And i did a bit of sakura samsara (forgot the story)
Is there any downside when it comes to rewards for the weekly tasks, if i just select apho(2)? or do the rewards differ in weekly modes?

as far as the adventure task rewards goes, the main thing to note is samsara's rate of rare crystal tasks are apparently lower than the rest.

Calling it weekly task is a bit confusing since they refresh 3 times in a week btw. The weekly aspect is what map you can open for that week.

Do note all the open worlds have permanently available one time rewards from progressing in adventure levels. Such levels are raised not only from the cyclic tasks but also refreshable pickups within the map along with one time objectives/story progression within each map.

iirc the valks in the egg option u get, are all in a thing called war treasury, which u gain the currency for that by doing Memorial Arena, which for most purposes, is just killing the boss fast enough within a set time, the ranking dont matter as much to u, just need to kill fast enough and the time is quite lenient

keep in mind none of those valkyries are really "competitive" or meta as they are mainly obtained for increasing your dorm level and elysian realm crystals

regarding your account, if you have any competitive goals then yes its a complete dud
so should you want to compete against players in higher abyss tiers (for more crystal income) you would be better of restarting with a fresh account

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

You can just decide based on your own pulling experience which card you'll tend to need more, just don't get the crystals since they're lesser in raw value

You should get Hi Love Elf + her weapon, but save up 60 pulls before you start pulling and don't go below them until you get the valk

That way she won't end up weapless (which you really don't want to happen)

Part 1 story will be the best grindable source for a while, but that doesn't mean you should neglect consistent sources like Q-Manifold and Elysian Realm (the latter unlocks at lvl 50)

Well, if you don't mind starting over than that'd be the suggestion cause of how the starter bonuses can help you catch up to the latest meta.

If you want to stick with this one though then it's a cycle of saving till you have 30k crystals at least then pulling debut units. This allows you to take advantage of new unit shill and end up with functional teams for the least investment. Same strategy is followed on new accounts though the one time crystals allow faster pulling leeway.

As for how teambuilding works in part 2, just gimme a bit to pull up something.

it's essentially that apart from the usual element and type combination the units now have something called "Ring types" as well along with "tags" that support those ring types.
Teambuilding now just boils down to ensuring the Ring type of the leader is supported by the other two units, the element and unit type is secondary

but there's layers to the meta and you can settle for partially less. Casually wise, you don't need anything to enjoy the story and events of the game since they give you trials to use

hm ok. First thing I'm going to say is you can try out all sorts of valks you don't have with their tutorials in attack > events tab > tactics class

Do login back into your old account and see if there's anything there you're attached to (asuka valk? event frame and emblems?)

by now most valks you used to own may be more accessible to regain in some way now. If you feel meta is within your interests, you may consider restarting. We have a pin on that process

but restarting isn't for everyone. Some may not prefer to redo progress. Others may not want to use a new hoyo account. Or any other reason really.

General meta advice is really just saving up crystals and going for latest patch releases when you can afford the valk and her weapon together.

Immutable Crystallums

Hey there, Captain!

Crystallums are a Battle Pass Currency that can be exchanged for Valkyries and Equipment in the Reserve Works. Captains who purchase Knight or Paladin BP can also access the BP Works of that patch for 3 versions.

There are 3 BP tiers offering different amounts of Crystallums as follows:
-# The totals below account for the 2 Crystallums in the Dorm Shop.

• Vanguard (F2P) BP: 5 per patch
• Knight BP: 18 per patch
• Paladin BP: 24 per patch

s rank valks aren't really equal. This is a very old game so there's plenty of s rank valks that are outdated and even farmable now. Don't go by pure quantity.

if you go to the foundry menu (supply > foundry at bottom left) and check out the stigmata sections you can find alot of stigmatas you can craft.

• most things cost green dollar sign looking stuff called ether fuel. You mainly get these from mirage gamemode (we have a pin for this).
• some of the stigmata are separated by numerical G grades like G1 or G3 etc. Generally higher G values are more expensive to craft and loosely speaking more powerful. However at this point, all of them are outdated or niche and not worth focusing on.

g1 g2 g3 g4 are material tiers. U can craft (good) stigmata in foundry with ether fuel and g materials. Both are farmed in weekly mirage
Some stig sets crafted by g1 can be upgraded into their advanced sets crafted by g2 and so on (can also be crafted directly with g2 but will require more materials).
While farming in mirage u can see the roman numbers I, II, III, IV on the materials

• When you jump with vbm it's important that you do BA -> WA that WA will consume stellar drain and therefore regen some ARI ( the things you need for your stellar outburst aka your F )

Crystallums are a Battle Pass Currency that can be exchanged for Valkyries and Equipment in the Reserve Works. Captains who purchase Knight or Paladin BP can also access the BP Works of that patch for 3 versions.

There are 3 BP tiers offering different amounts of Crystallums as follows:
-# The totals below account for the 2 Crystallums in the Dorm Shop.

• Vanguard (F2P) BP: 5 per patch
• Knight BP: 18 per patch
• Paladin BP: 24 per patch

In the long run it doesn't matter, but the ideal order is:
1 - Grips of Tai Xuan (gloves, cope glove weapon and ice gene limit).
2 - Cleaver/Judgement of Shamash (guns/greatsword, need both to sync for +10 attack and fire gene limit).
3 - Jizo Mitama (katana, phys gene limit attached to it).
4 - Star of Eden (cannon, has no attached gene limit it just exists).

so in hsr some buffs (mainly eidolons) have an original multiplier bonus. instead of a 1000% atk, it becomes a 1300% atk ability. Its far better than dmg bonus which gets lost in the damage formula.
