and from what i roughly mathed at the time for that particular returnee reward, the actual value was pretty equal to regularly playing? It's just you're effectively forcing part of that income on some non new S rank valk

i'm highly doubtful. I'm not sure if there's been any cases of a valk getting multiple adv (but i don't pay much attention to them so maybe i'm wrong. Maybe hofi?). But the adv's we're getting nowadays are rebranded to "leaps" and are for newer p2 valks.

Adv/leap banners in general are highly not recommended too in terms of f2p meta value

while we do say ranks are important for hohe because of the relative competition and how old she is by now, this is more for at a top meta level (nirv). As awawa said earlier, you can compensate for lesser ranks with better playing enough to retain RL possibly

hi3's high end game expands to many different scenarios and hohe will still be mostly confined to her own niche cases

you can sort of think of how HSR's late game has strongly emphasized break, dot, fua, etc or how GI sometimes have elemental shields (although generally speaking i heavily advise not comparing hoyo games to this one)

hm maybe check out the whaling guide in the pins too if you still intend to spend that much but this is prob pointless to consider now until a third adv gets confirmed. Adv definitely would make ranking up more affordable.

There's not really going to be a singular best to SSS. Again the game has many scenarios and one will get emphasized at some point while another will get emphasized at another point. Meta wise it's better to have a wider coverage instead with multiple s0 valks and their signature weapons (actually important and practically required in this game)

i'm fine giving a few to help you but i recommend avoiding to do so on your own. This game is considerably older than other hoyo games and trying to assume some conclusions based on the logic of other games will likely lead to more costly mistakes than it helps

a few quick examples:

• only non-bleed physical crit in this game. Crit is meaningless for elementals or bleed.
• standard banner exist as dorm but you don't want to pull on this whenever you get a ticket for it. You want to wait for a spending event

fwiw a lot of hohe stamps are available from free sources, it'll take a long time but as of now you can get ss + 3 stamps without pulling on a hypothetical banner assuming you buy level rush

hohe's primary dps matchups at a late level does rely on thelema support who will be rerunning with that weapon later too as we mentioned earlier. Thelema provides alot of utility that she desires (i normally wouldn't recommend this but if you're really hohe focused and are spending then you may consider it)

stigmatas for newer sets are now farmable at worst from foundry but you'll be able to roll for some alongside the weapon

once you get weapon, stop and craft the rest

afaik there's only one exception to this rule. It's the AE/SS imaginons. Acts that cost lower and don't total to 60 stamina do NOT guarantee a drop.

can i ask what kind of goals do you have for this game if we're starting to move away from this? Initially you seem to want to focus on maximizing SW for lower ended abyss which is why teammate explained everything above.

The reality is this is far too much investment only to achieve an outdated team even at its max potential.

If you want to focus more on meta (typically recommended since you get more crystals from abyss this way), the recommendation becomes to focus on more newly released units (both valk and weapon).

newer valks nowadays have a different team building system from older valks. Instead of being element focused, the team building is focused upon the astral ring system. While there will be scenarios where you want to deal ice damage, the supports you will use for that newer ice dps do not have to be ice type. Instead they must have tags (attributes) that matches with the ice dps leader's ring type

Data suggests that it does exist (starting at 76 pulls), but it is not confirmed anywhere by HoYoverse so we can't be 100% sure.

As for this, if you still want to go back to SW, her gears are farmable from mirage. They cost G4 grade materials so you'll need to clear ice mirage 7.

Keep in mind SW's optimal stigmatas are Nex T and B, but the best M piece is actually not part of the same set. It is Herrscher of Truth's M piece that isn't farmable currently.

Reverist Calico's stigmatas are farmable from Foundry too. She mainly wants bastet T and M. B is also an off piece. Either newton B from exchange shop, or cezanne B which isn't farmable yet. But in the long run shigure kira is superior and her gears might become more accessible in the future as teammate discussed earlier.

More generally speaking you may opt to look at the mirage farming pin for other recommendations.

Keep in mind high grade foundry crafts do take alot of time to make.

Yeah, that’s why I asked how can I start progressing through universal mirage farming higher and higher ice stones. I am able to clear high lvl physical but not ice ones

We will have a FWS kiana rerun soon that is also arguably considerable. But this has a smaller time frame and you'll want to make sure you have enough to guarantee the valk and the weapon. (Edit: this is roughly 40k)

The worst thing you can do in this game metawise is to constantly spend crystals picking up valks without their weapons or vice versa. Weapons are very important and standard for the meta. Not only do they provide alot of personal damage (20 or even 60%) but they also may provide important utility to the gameplay flow of the valkyrie, or for specific stage gimmicks.

You can try focusing on a beginner ice team and seeing how far that will take you but the more practical answer is to wait until you pick up a recent gacha valk to handle it since that content is relatively powercreeped now.

You only get a limited amount of tickets per week and as long as you can farm some kind of F6 regardless of element, it's fine for now and you'll be having maximal efficiency for foundry materials for the time being.

While these crafts do take a while, there isn't really a rush when they're already out of date meta wise either.

also if you're not familiar with specific valks, you can go to attack > events tab > tactics class to try nearly every valk in the game for free via their gameplay tutorials. Last stage is usually lets you play them freely forever too rather than being forced to follow specific instructions
