But the TL;DR is this: it carries over in regular valk banners and it usually doesn't in other types

There is some evidence of soft pity at 76+, but it's nothing to rely on

Practically speaking the difference between your current acc and a new one is that you won't have to skip 8.2

And you won't struggle with upgrading Part 2 stigs

Its my most hard work in HI3 as a F2P and returnee of that time, have stuff and it was ofc working super well before changes, idk now. But at the time I didnt mind restarting/even keeping 2 accounts
Nowadays Im grown, have stuff to do irl, other gachas (PGR and ZZZ), dont wanna stress over smth i enjoy and I was missing. I do wanna be efficient etc ofc, mostly as F2P/Dolphin, but dont wanna re-do nor have the patience/time for it. Mostly with my hardworking mentslity, which will make me push for all stuff complete ASAP and leave my training IRL or stuff to do 300% because IK myself

exchange shop but don't concern yourself with it at this point since it's quite costly for newer players and not practical to get or even to use for newer valks

if you still want to consider it then it'll take 6000 red stigmata resonances. These are acquired via

• in small amounts from weekly open world finalization
• trashing high rarity former gacha stuff. you'll need to trash 6 stigs to be able to exchange for one (mainly from crafting in foundry at this point but also possibly bp shop, dorm banner, or deliberately rolling on older part 1 rerun gear banners i guess)
• some one time rewards from leveling up

the reason why mei m was a common support stig is because on hit it applies a debuff that's not very common (so not so diluted in the damage formula). However this effect is short and has a forced downtime before it can be reapplied

Some older support valks circumvent this issue a bit because they can deal damage off field (without summons. summons canNOT trigger stigmata effects). HoS does this during her ult mode. Once off field but in ult, other teammate attacks will cause feathers from HoS to spawn to attack the enemy, triggering this stigmata effect when available

but nowadays newer valks don't really have that property and they stay out much longer (buff uptimes are as long as 25s)

memorial arena isn't important as i stated before and fights there aren't representative of the rest of the game. Timer can be slowed down there so fights are alot more gimmicky and unorthodox there

the reason why arena isn't important is because ranking better only gives you more ancient willpower. The currency you already have plenty of to buy outdated valks in war treasury

not to say you should ignore it completely. You still want to do it for 100 crystals and 1 source prism from simply clearing enough fights. At 81+ you would want to score high enough on SSS fights for 20 crystals each but this usually isn't demanding unless you're underdeveloped (turn on buffed mode if so)
