Was someone just asking if weapons were rarer than stigs?

The answer is yes. You're expected to roll most if not all stigs before getting the weapon, and to wind up with dupes of the stigs.

Dupe stigs can be trashed for source prisms to upgrade other stigs. You need alot of them to max out each stig (21 for a whole set).

if you get lucky with weapon early or unlucky with what stigs you get, at worst you can craft remaining stigs from the foundry. However this will cost additional prisms

also at the start of every patch, we get a selector box for the new stig set. These should be used last to ensure picking up any remaining pieces.

2. It starts attacking
3. If you didn't hit it too many times while it was blocking attacking it while it's swinging away will temporarily expose the seed

well low level captains can use about anything since the enemies aren't that difficult and you still don't have access to the end game that will be a gear and skill check
so if you wish to compete well (since you'll be rewarded based on your score) then these characters aren't relevant enough to compete
in such case you would eventually get newer characters if you pull that will form their own team that you can compete very well against hard content
you can still level the characters and level their equipment but try not to spend too much resources on them since you'll need the resources on the other characters that will carry you in the hard content

that's perfectly fine, as long as your concern isn't about abyss (and to some degree, MA) then you have the freedom to do what you want since you'll be facing weak enemies or trial characters that will carry you
just be aware that your crystal economy and resource economy will still be weak considering that f2ps can easily stay in red lotus (superstring) which is a valuable crystal source
i do still suggest that you at least get one meta team so if you ever struggle or change your mind that you'll have a team that can still carry you in the future

you arent dodging the big rock and breaking it in phase switch which is also losing you a lot of damage bonus
