What team are you using?

The basic idea is generally that you can see the action that the support valk wants to do from their stigmata which gives buffs under specific circumstances.
Other then that you want to see what their stellar drain condition is.
General buff uptime is normally 30s for P2 valks so you want to rotate so that you switch to your supports every 30 seconds.

Optimally their stigs from Foundry. Tsiolkovsky for VBm and Von Neumann for VBs. Tsiol is notably higher priority but be careful that you have enough source prisms.

Bounty Weapons

Bounty weapons are a special category of weapons that are forgeable from the Foundry, with their main use being to be converted for 1000 weapon resonance each for the Exchange shop.

To craft a bounty weapon you first have to forge the weapon spirit and then forge that into the weapon itself. The total cost for a Bounty weapon is:

• 700 Ether Fuel
• 190 G1 Crystallyte
• 150 AE Imaginons

they're always viable for each other since they both have symbiosis tags to match each other's ring types when one or the other are the leader

but you're prob more asking when it's better to use them over other supports for each other? I don't really have a strong answer to that.

• For the most part you can simply go by copying a reference
• otherwise you can just try it out other combinations and observe especially for your own account
• Generally they both will perform very close to each other or other symbiosis options
• The main support considerations for HLE are:
  • freeze utility
  • SD utility (e.g. if you have SD mobs before a non-SD boss, but also keep in mind you're competing against FWS for this when supporting XDC)
  • HLE's weapon active > ult has a very great range, capable of hitting enemies when they exist on field but aren't able to take damage yet. This lets HLE resolve her needed actions sooner compared to other supports
• XDC as a support i'm not as confident in answering but
  • she kinda feels like one of the stronger but slower options, at least for Lunar Vow dps
  • maybe someday her bio enemy insta kill can be of use as a support

i don't think this is largely going to matter too much. The differences is very marginal overall.

Generally any ELF at 2* loses to dreamseeker. It's only at 3* that they can be slightly stronger than dreamseeker for their respective damage type during outburst.

I don't know if "only ult" refers to outburst build or not.

@edgy hamlet it might also be more damage to delay HoHE's weakpoint shot in p2 until after LV's first cycle? Tank weakpoint can last for 3 LV cycles and delaying it means you capture the duration of LV's full outburst instead of partially. edit: i got more damage getting the vuln asap

i think i also opted to clean up P1 with HoHE so i can skip swapping to her at the start of p2. (edit: i don't think this makes sense actually?)
I also skip swapping to FDD too since the dragon domain effect from p1 outburst should last long enough. (edit: actually i end up casting it later but that's just moving it around at that point)

This is still 2 facets. LV gets back her sp from QTE'ing after HoHE finishes up p1 iirc

but also fischl is farmable because she was released at an earlier part of the game's life where they were making half of them that way. Meanwhile Sparkle was released more recently when every new valk is gacha s rank. (And this makes sense considering Fischl and Genshin were released sooner/earlier)

and if you want to talk more playfully, it's a bit fitting considering Fischl is only a 4* while Sparkle is a 5* in their respective games

granted both were given away for free in both games at this point

fischl is also now dead in the meta while sparkle isn't yet. So if you really want to be sparkle biased, then maybe you can take solace in that aspect (i do not recommend spending excessively for her rerun or something though)

HoFi actually has one more compenent but it's very minor and usually ignored

there isn't really a singular place to find these. You just have to dig through the whole kit to know what a valk may have

i can't find it atm but hofi does get a 10% team total damage bonus if the weapon active actually hits the enemy

but waiting for the enemy to spawn does take time and total damage is very common/highly stacked. So usually casting it early to save time is more preferred

so doing it too early would miss the QTE timing

moving on, keep in mind the other trigger condition is stellar outburst

this is why you never really see hofi again

because the fight only needs her to start the moonrising effect > refresh it with outburst > end the fight

hofi can offer more than just her moonrising though.

• She can still trigger her own stellar drain to restore ARI for the team. However this is slow and only really done if you need it and have an opportunity to get it without losing much time. (the video i showed earlier farmed up her meter during the boss' transition)
• she can apply a small amount of ignite trauma with her basic attacks. Not too useful but it has seen uses against ignite weather HoV (cope), and against AKA in Arena

i guess i'll talk about the ult now too. Tbh it's pretty useless. People do it because it's a time stop ult that does a bit of damage but as a support, this damage can be very small that it's questionable if it's worth casting (you do spend a bit of time going in and out of the time stop)

The ult is also a nice way to force hofi to land back on the ground if she's currently busy in the air

ground basics can be evade cancelled pretty quickly (but this is more used in world star teams)

The main two gimmicks are

• you do want to destroy the balloon mobs if you can. HoTr can do so with her combo attacks (the rod twirl outside of mech form and the full meter hold attack in mech form)
• in p2 you don't want to swap for an extended period to raise/reset its alert levels/durations. Once that effect expires then you're free to attack as normal.

HoTr being a p1 valk doesn't lend very well to the latter since p1 rots are like 15s

The thing about LoA teams in MA is they tend to have alot of suspended animations (sus anis) to keep the timer heavily slowed

if outbursting then you'll prob opt to spend the time attacking to full meter since you get the time stop with weapon and the augment ascension buffs (basically outburst only buffs) that the trade offs for time spent might be worth it.

U can try cancelling the 3rd ba with phantom, u will lose out on the lanterns and charged attack damage but at least there's little time lost on SD shards gathering

hmm, i think that's not a problem anymore.
i found a ref where you don't need to do spam WA to fulfill the lantern on the left.

what i found is my transition is so bad. HAHAH-
on the transition, i should have HLE weap -> charge ult ready to absorb the shards then to proc 1 critical point.
Then, QTE to Songque -> combo, to proc another 1 critical point.

Then, do AR.
On AR,
Press 1st shadow, which fills the lantern.
Then, press NA 3 times to gather the shards from the 2 critical point proc.
Then, hold NA to use the lantern,
Then, press 2nd shadow, which fulfill the lantern, then, hold NA.
then, do NA 3 times (cuz all my units are S, i don't have the dmg that I can kill on ult),
before ulting, which should kill the boss.

There's no spam WA anymore!

no matter what, as long as the valk isn't being shilled and as long as its not a new valk, it won't keep up, maybe there's a bit of a leeway in MA but i highly doubt that it would work in the case you're suggesting not to mention how quickly p2 deals with the bosses anyways
but as it is sparkle/eepy/rs powercrept the p1 support in their slot so there will be a major difference not to mention if you don't have these alternatives build already then it will cost a lot for barely any return now
maybe instead you can look at the ss ma teams instead because that's the best usecase to use these valks in since itll free your stronger options for the sss bosses (assuming u don't already have those teams done)

don't rush it though, its not worth the resources and you'll always want resources for new releases and u never have enough
