i'm not sure where in the fight you mean but i guess at the end of p1 early in the video? yeah prob. you also could've basic'd after the second stellar shift WA that tornado/whirlwinds sushang into the air. Air basic is relatively pretty strong when opportune/cleaning up afaik.

Ofc ideally you would nail the evade too. Lantern is a bit rng but does have sequences you can reset and plan out for.

I assume that's all you want reviewed. The transition is a mess so that should be a huge priority to fix. Keep in mind to evade after tossing out the umbrella to extend the umbrella's field time so a single thrown umbrella can kill a clone (for me this isn't consistent though)

there's really not too much to say about p2 since it's triple PS stellar shfits.

• you had excess damage at the end
• maybe omit the PS WA finisher or even the QTE swap in at 2:10
• i feel rita's shift was strange like there's extra actions when you could've gone to the next cinematic move sooner
• maybe see if you can squeeze in FDD's shift to finish the fight too (kill with the early part of the animation. If you have to stay on it beyond that when the timer ticks down then it's prob not worth it)
  i don't own rita so my help might not be best. Continue consulting references and other people if you can.

maybe you can write in video timestamps into your descriptions so it'll be easier to seek around your long pauses. Not really a big deal though since i can just preview around the seek bar so don't bother if it's too much work.

After first sus qte you can add charged attack into rita qte...in SO you can so rita charged attack (not full) and cancel it with ult and you can sus plunge ( air basic) after weapon activ... u might as well mald your transition because it was a bit weird

the idea of a best team is more of a counterpick to a particular scenario. Keep in mind that bosses even for Mei to top score on can differ greatly in mechanics and also that abyss and memorial arena differs in how the timer works (arena isn't important though)

also mei being ||physical|| doesn't largely affect how her team is put together. Team building in astral ring no longer consists of putting three of the same damage type together as older teams often do. Instead all newer valks now generally buffs all damage types. What's important now is making sure the leader ring type is compatible to the tags of the supports.

lastly even if something is best but you don't already have it, it may not be in your interest to spend the crystals/rolls catching up to it. A matching alternative is often not too far off unless you're competing at a high level of the game.

meta isn't a requirement but it's defaulted and emphasized here because you get much more crystals from abyss where you contest against other players

but if you have any non-meta priorities you're free to tell us and we can adjust

What is "Disturbance"

Disturbance (found at the top right in the Abyss menu) is a measurement of how strong the enemies from Abyss will be in Superstring dimension (in Q-Manifold it's called Dimension). There's no information on how it is exactly calculated, but the following are known:

• According to the in-game Rules:
  • Disturbance is different for each rank group (tiers) of Abyss (e.g. Sinful 2, Sinful 3, Agony 1... Red Lotus, etc).
  • Disturbance is based on the average scores for each rank group in one cycle of Abyss. The higher the average, the higher the next cycle's Disturbance will be for that group.
  • All brackets within one rank group will have the same Disturbance.
  • Disturbance does not change during an ongoing Abyss cycle. It only changes between each cycle.
  • Even though there's no official tracking of how the disturbance has increased over the time, you can check Sheepilah's spreadsheet where it's been tracked across servers and tiers in here
• Disturbance does not affect your Valkyries directly. However, it does affect the Resistance of enemies which may result in changing your Valkyrie's damage.

all p2 give general buffs (total dmg, ele dmg, phy dmg) the values that each give is different tho
the unique buffs are like breach that vita, fdd, sena and sci (specific to part 1 teams i think?)
sena's is passive, fdd and vita need to ult (theres an icon for each of these on top of your hp)

if you SO the buffs trigger automatically then when they run out u need to refresh yourself

however her qte adds to her par so you can fill it faster

or in some cases its full alr when you qte her in

Rite of Oblivion valkyries have the omniscient star tag which allows them in support slots to fulfill leader skill activation even if they don't match the leader's ring type

However if they don't match, that's all you're really getting. You'll still miss out on the primary mechanics a matching tagged support offers to the leader's ring type.

For example, Law of Ascension leaders (e.g., badum fws kiana leader) makes the team revolve around QTEs. However they need heavenly shift tagged supports to do this. (e.g., BFDD, sparkle, vita all have heavenly shift tag)
If you use a RoO valk without an HS tag (e.g., VBm, HoFi), you'll at least get the leader skill activation effects, but they won't do anything special with their QTEs

basically you only use RoO supports as cope options when you don't have enough of the actual tag you need for the leader

But yeah going back to what was mentioned, a valkyrie can have more than one tag. Vita has many tags in addition to omniscient star. She has the domain resonance tag which matches with World star (this is sparkle's ring type)

do note some attacks are ranged rather than melee, or even neither. So make sure you're attacking with a melee move. The game doesn't really do a good job of telling you this exactly so you have to rely on intuition and testing (or just copy someone else doing it right)

nowadays the leader is always the main dps. every valk has one ring type, or one way to dps.
but most valks have multiple tags, meaning they can support in various ways. Every valk now is multifunctional that way. Supports also boosts all kinds of damage now.

i'm mostly just parroting from the last link at this point so i guess i'll stop there. review some details on your own and let us know if anything still feels unsure to you.

Ok, so who are Sparkle's best teammates rn?

i'm going to give you a bit of a hard time with that answer bear with me. I do have a simpler answer later.

keep in mind hi3 is a game full of different cycling scenarios in abyss

so the idea of best teams in a vacuum against a beta dummy can exist, but isn't really useful information. In some cases a not as strong neutral option ends up more important against a specific enemy

in sparkle's case, lantern is a possible support against fire kosma, which starts with a high hitcount enemy that lantern handles best

but lantern normally is a terrible world star support compared to everything else

and for more practical intents and purposes, other decent hitcount valkyries like vita can work well enough too

anyway i digress. The general idea is you do want to counterpick against specific situations or adjust to what you finely need depending on the proportion of your account strength to what the fight is (if you have too much damage, you may opt for weaker but faster supports)

lastly, if you are missing a particular support keep in mind lesser options usually aren't far off as long as they match the leader's ring type

this fine difference matters more in the high tiers of the game, but you can get away with non-best teammates in RL. Spending 40k crystals just to catch up on a rerun that won't last as long that's only maybe 5-10% better is obviously questionable value

alright i'll give you actual answers now. However this is very loosely speaking and might change by details of the scenario/account.

Sparkle is world star. This matches with domain resonance tags.

HLE, Vita, FWS are generally the stronger ones to consider. Vita however is quite slow (edit: but still often best). (edit2: i'm actually not sure where HLE stands. I was just thinking of some specific cycle that had SD mobs before Shadow Knight boss that encouraged her or fws https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=himB4fzvcbI)
HFi is decent too and can buff without waiting for an enemy to hit.
Thelema and HoRb are faster but weaker options (unless maybe you have horb's weapon maxed up with dupes but this isn't recommended if you're not whale)

you need to wait for her to appear on a banner or potentially somewhere else like BP, her next banner will probably be an ascension supply which normally marks the end of a valks banner rotation time though be aware that it's not recommended to pull on ascension supply if you have meta goals

also note that ascension supply does not share pity so if you do plan on getting her from that saving for max pity is non negotiable
since you always want to pull for a valks weapon as well max pity would be 150 pulls or 42k crystals

|| generally i'd say that you would probably be able to get enough if you play actively during mei's banner and farm a bit of extra crystals considering that you're already at 33 pity, there will be some freebies next patch( iirc like 15-20 pulls) and that mei's banner will have a 50% discount on the first 10x ||
