Too many requests is a temporary server side security thing, server probably got a little suspicious that you were trying so many times and temporarily locked our your network location. I recommend disconnecting from a VPN then waiting at least 4 hours, then connecting to a VPN, then trying again. If that doesnt work since customer support says they cant lift the temp lock then you might have to wait a couple of days and then try again.

good luck! customer support probably isnt allowed to remove it early in your case so it might take some waiting to get it to go away but that just happens sometimes when someone tries too many account actions or other things in a short amount of time

Yes you can but what controller are you using? The game have native support on PC for xinput controllers (Xbox) and some PS controllers

Don't think the game caused it but just in case.
Wifi logo and stuff completely disappeared in the middle of game. Reboot doesn't bring it back. Wifi option missing from control panel.

Game wouldnt be able to crash your wifi that badly, or at least i've never heard of it and honestly there could be a lot of reasons it happened. You can try hard rebooting the computer by pushing and holding the power button for about 15-20 seconds until it just shuts off and then power it back on. But if that doesnt do anything then i'd next try to download the wifi drivers from your computer manufacturer website and run those to install/reinstall or repair those.

If is the same issue I had before, after trying what luna said the issue still come back, could be the power manager having issues, try to disable the setting "turn off to save power" to test, if that works for more time but still randomly stopping, probably had to add stuff on the registry like on my case

looks like the problem is on your GPU, first try to restart your device in case something in windows is causing the problem (restart, not power off/on)
if you still have the problem, you will need to reinstall/update the driver of your GPU
if you want to be sure to make a clean install i will recommend to use the DDU software to uninstall the driver

, keep in mind that changing the email is for the HYV account, so if you have any other HYY games linked to that one, will be affected by the change too
if you only login on the wrong server, you dont really need to do anything, you have an unique "save" for each server so just download the correct client and you will be fine (you can find the links on the pin of this channels for PC/Android)

what does device lock do?

is a security measure, the default one only lock your stuff for a couple of days when a new login/device is register
device lock instead never unlock them until you try to use them, asking you to put the password you set on that setting, you can reset it in case you forget it but its going to take time.
another upside apart of the security, is that with the password you can instantly unlock weapons/stigmatas to use for salvage for example, instead of having to wait 24hrs

so first you'll want to download a fresh copy of your graphics drivers. Without knowing the serial number of your laptop you can go to acer's website here and it has some tips on where to find it, and a thing you can download that just tells you if you cant find the sticker on the underside of the laptop. But you'll want to put your laptops serial number in here and download the graphics drivers (or display drivers, im not sure what acer calls it) https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/drivers-and-manuals

Once you've downloaded that you can first try to just run what you downloaded to install the graphics drivers which should hopefully fix it, if not then theres a couple of other things we can do but most likely your graphics drivers just got corrupted which caused the BSOD in the first place and need to be reinstalled to fix it all

But your graphics drivers are already not working so all this is doing is uninstalling them and cleaning out any junk data left behind

I'm assuming you're on laptop.
firstly, you shouldn't play HI3, or do anything that is Hardware intensive on power saving mode, and should use the laptop while plugged in, NOT on battery. battery cannot provide enough power to the GPU and CPU so bad performance is expected, same with doing stuff on power saving mode.
you should be using the laptop while the charger is plugged in and on Best performance mode

I always play video games while plugged in. I changed settings fir the game in System>Display>graphics becuz the alternative is using GeForce rtx 3050 and game crashes after 30 minutes. Using power saving mode let's the game not crash but it becomes slow and lagging

you said the game lags on power saving, unless it was not the case before, it wouldn't be abnormal to see the game lagging on power saving mode while you're using the integrated graphics

You could try to use your RTX 3050 again, if the problem still persists try clean reinstalling the Nvidia Graphics driver again using DDU and downloading the latest driver from the site

This should be the latest Game ready driver for the RTX 3050

if the problem still persists, it could be an Windows problem

in that case you can try the usual

dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

and after it finishes run sfc /scannow

in command promt opened as admin

just in case, although you probably already did this, try the game files repair from the launcher and the game repair in-game from the elevator screen

Mhmm back then it definitely was the GPU causing it, but after DDU ing the driver, fresh reinstall and a game reinstall and the output log still showing GPU issues I chalked it up to a buggy 3050 driver. If there's a new one since a month ago you could try updating and see if the 3050 starts to work again. But using the iGPU (power saving mode)will be less performance since it's weaker so that's where the lag comes in, especially on higher graphics settings or high resolutions, it's main bonus is that it doesn't crash basically.

The stuff they said above with the windows is definitely something to try if you want to see if going back to the 3050 still causes crashes

anyway when using DDU close all other running programs, the default settings are fine so don't need to touch them and as for safe mode, it won't be necessary and will not cause issues if you do not use it while running DDU

when PC restarts after DDU disconnect from the internet as windows may try to fetch the driver, you dont want that since you're going to use the driver you downloaded for a clean reinstall

which is actually a huge deal on some bosses where higher fps lead to more points

the normal limit of 120 fps is fine for most things, just some tricks are only doable if you go above that

If you already try installing the drivers from the sources I mention before, probably something on the OS is causing issues on the dGPU, could be just windows las update having some issues with your device or if you are using a "hardware manager"... (I think it was called armory crate for your device) that some settings are not working correctly or interfering with the OS ones.

It is marked as malicious / unknown it will not let you run that application / file

Also back then if you turn off SAC the only thing you can do to turn it back on is a full reinstall of windows

But thanks to a recent update just this month you can now toggle this option without the need to reinstall windows

i did try that tbh about 8 times over the course of half a year

also had iho send me a copy of the file that played just fine on their game, but froze at the same spot on my game installation, and so i reinstalled, and still the same thing after 3 installations

idk why it does what it does. i gave up trying to figure it out but I just know that customer support sent me the same file that iho sent me (which worked fine for them but not for me) and i put customer supports into my game insallation and it worked so i dont question it i just go right to CS these days lol

i don't think it's necessary, i send the message as soon as the preload is available, which is almost always a couple of hours before the announcement on official social media #hi3-twitter-feed
the links are already on the pins and get updated on MT/Update day

and preload/preinstall is just getting the files for the update before the release date, those file are not going to be used until that day

is just an option for people that want to play immediately once the update release or people with slow connection ,something that was necessary before, because the old update system was just redownload the base files again (~20GB),
now the game uses delta patches (download only new files) so the update are way smaller

for iOS, the SEA client will only show on the store if you use an AppleID with a SEA country set as the main one.
you can just create a new apple account just to download the game (recommended) or update your existing account, but keep in mind you can only change location once a yr iirc

The short answer is you'll need to contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs if its been more than 4 years since you last played but they will need your accounts UID number to find it, you can find that if you have any screenshots of your profile page in game, or an invite link you shared with anyone or something like that if you havent written it down

Your GPU is well above the minimum requirements, it's possible if you have all the graphics maxed out it would struggle with that, could try a lower resolution window mode or turning the rendering accuracy setting lower. But it's well above the minimum, just not the maximum settings for the most part.

At this point it's either that or your windows it's somewhat corrupted or your GPU is just in the early stages of dying or something, but it's definitely powerful enough to play the game at medium high settings without issue I think on a large resolution

honestly with how much you've cleanly reinstalled your graphics drivers, the only two things left that i can think of is to uninstall the game, manually check the app data and registry folders and delete any leftovers there and reinstall, or reinstall windows. I'm honestly thinking its something with windows and maybe doing those dism commands from this pin again might catch something this time #🔌technical-help message. Like for example my windows would disable my wifi after using a generic bluetooth controller and reinstalling everything didnt work until i reinstalled windows itself.

I dont think its teh radeon settings since those only apply when you're using the integrated GPU, not your dedicated one.

as a quick thing that you havent tried to my knowledge is you could always try windowed mode. could be something with your windows not liking fullscreen applications of hi3's unity engine version specifically

What I would suggest is try to just wait during the loading screen when the popup shows up. Just let it be without clicking yes or no for like 0.5-1 minutes. I think it could be due to the game being saved in HDD and needs some time.

for security the best is to be on the last stable update always, the main issue is that the "recent" updates break something, so you are on a 50/50 if is going to affect your device even if you delay them, the good thing is that because you are on a main manufacturer laptop they kinda get the updates later so any option you choose should be ok, and really recent updates are kinda more stable so looks like windows is really trying to make the change

but still always have a spare bootable USB available, if you are not going to use the usb drive for anything more that "OS's iso" try Ventoy, with that one you just drag and drop the ISO files instead of manually writing them each time like on rufus

ah yeah thats absolutely a graphics driver issue, I'd recommend unisntalling their current graphic drivers with DDU and then reinstalling them and that should fix it

Hi. i just took a look at the issue and saw something weird on the dxdiag, did they use a multimonitor setup or just one? because at least one is connected to the igpu.
and they could try to use iGPU to test the game too, in order to rule out whether or not it is a "GPU" problem

yes, on the dxdiag showed a screen connected on AMD but nothing on the NVIDIA/windows driver(missing driver, the DDU process should have fix this one).
that could be the issue, if the device is not configured correctly there could be some problems when rendering on one card and displaying on another, tell them to just change the display cable to the GPU port

How do I log in to my old account? When I registered it,I used my mail, but now game has Hoyoverse account log in system and when I try with it,it's whole new acc without my progress

for that, your old account is still there and fine but you will need to contact customer support with your old accounts UID so they can help with that. #how-to-contact-cs has their email addresses.

On a side note and this is just something I say to everyone in your situation is that if you really care about the meta then you might consider just going with the new account since all of the valks from back then are farmable outside of limited stuff like certain old outfits or asuka or stuff like that

for that you will need to either find an old screenshot of your profile page or if you have any friends in game that you can contact outside of the game then they can see your UID in your friend profile or if you wrote it down anywhere but they do usually need your UID to find your account.

Since there's millions of accounts and stuff so they use the UID to find yours

Theres no harm in trying, but typically they will require the UID since the email address associated with an account can change so its not a unique account identifer since for example you might have changed the email or a hacker could have changed it to their email and stuff so normally they need the UID to start the recovery process but like i said theres no harm in trying

is there a reliable fps checker for honkai impact 3rd? so far only one site had hi3 and it didnt have enough data to give me a resuly

if you mean like a avg fps, you are not going to find one for this game, the performance can change a lot depending of the scene (vfx, assets quality, game mode, etc.)

they still give on avg 60 fps with the default settings, but on new stuff you will get drops.

Question about the new chapter
After the ||boss fight|| did the scene that play just at the end is missing the subtitles on PC? || I played on mobile first and they worked, replayed on PC with them missing, idk if is an issue with the scene in general or just on the replay ||

Pretty sure its just honkai being stingy since they also initially worked for me when first encountered as well but went completely missing on subsequent replays

So ye I think we might have to wait for a patch or so for it to be fixed
