Theres no way to actually increase battery life but you can do things like turn on eco mode, limiting the CPU performance or decreasing brightness which will give you a little more battery life but theres no way to get more battery or anything
To add to what Luna said: battery life tends to degrade overtime and you cant do anything about it, you can slow down it's degradation by doing what Luna mentioned above, but in the end it will still happen. Your only real option at that point is to replace the battery but keep in mind that the new battery will still eventually end up like the old one.
If you use the laptop GPU a lot, and it's actually a decent GPU, the battery will degrade at even faster rate. That's why people use their laptops while charging so that the GPU doesn't burden the battery too much, although again, this only slows down the degradation process.
All I can say is use the laptop while charging while doing anything hardware intensive and try the stuff luna said
again you can buy a new battery but it will still end up like the old one (probably even faster), so personally i wouldn't do it, but if you need good battery life, try to get a new and genuine battery.

Linux is not officially supported so all I can say is that I can't guarantee anything that happens or guarantee the anti cheat won't have problems if you try to use it on a Windows emulator

I just dont know if those linux launchers modify the game at all, because if they're not running in a windows emulator, and if they modify the game in any way to work on linux natively then thats a ToS violation and i cannot endorse that kind of thing in the official discord or guarantee that the anticheat will never pick it up. The windows community launchers in the pins are very careful to basically just provide an alternate download option and some ease of use for manually changing the FPS and such since that stuff is in the windows registry, but they dont modify the game itself in any way.

You mean the mute button in audio settings in-game?
You might have pressed mute in the collapse settings for hi3 ig, if that's what you mean.
Also, is the game fully muted or just some story/event stages? If the latter you probably have to download audio resources(from ai phone -> resources), since you reinstalled the game, it may be missing some resources. At least that's what it looks like
If audio resources are installed and u didn't mute the game in settings, ig try the launcher/in-game repair to see if it fixes it

That's weird, could you provide us with more info on the issue. Like how exactly is it not letting you pick tasks, and are you absolutely sure you opened the desired open world map for doing it's tasks(double check just in case)?
Also did you enter other open world maps to check if you can get their tasks?

My bad I misunderstood, I think the game getting muted in background is normal iirc, I don't recall there being a in-game setting that can mess with that, like what ningyo said above.

although this setting in collapse could affect the 'mute in the background' you mentioned, but i can't say for sure.
Did you get any error msg? And just in case, remember that you can only choose one map per week to get missions, if you change of map, you can't do anything on those apart of exploring the map
The game has "mute when unfocus" from a long time and you can't disable it (sometimes windows can fail to "unfocus" an you still get sound, like when the app is just starting)

sadly nothing that can be fixed, hoyo compressed old CGs years ago, which made their resolution terrible

unfortunately i lost the HQ files since had to re-install HI3

Most likely, it was a side effect of using an automated system to change the format. Since not all of the previous videos were the same, some ended up being more affected than others.
And as for better quality, since part 2 (they like test it during 1.5), they started using a different "system", for newer chapters you get higher quality videos on PC compared to mobile, and if selected, now it also comes with CN VA instead of having to manually get the files from the CN ver.

APHO 2 requires moon ring level 20 for adventure tasks to unlock. If you aren't lvl17 yet, they haven't unlocked yet and you need to do more daily tasks.
Adding to what shessair said, on the photos you are on apho "1" so that map will not work for this week, only apho 2 map will show the tasks, after your reach the lvl required

i got the game fully downloaded from a long time ago i went to download the update and play when i logged in it said to download 40gb of data the game is already 52gb how do i make it detect the old stuff its in the same folder it always was in

From the hoyoplay launcher right? First make sure that the server in the upper left corner is the correct one and then do find game and point it at the same folder bh3.exe is in and it should detect it instead of doing a fresh install. But it'll still need to download a lot to replace any old files that got modified
am on the same server as usual eu and na i did locate the game in the file with bh3.exe still got the same thing
i also used the repair function still no help and no issue detected

its detecting the issue is that when i open it i am asked to download an additional 40gb which is weird game is detected fine and also the repair function detected no issues
Ah that should be normal then, a lot of the old files got modified so it would need to redownload a lot of assets and replace the ones you have (the updates always been a two part download, the launcher and the in game one) but once it's done the final size shouldn't be that huge, this is the current fresh install size (yours might be a bit bigger if there's leftover stuff from you old installation that didn't get deleted it replaced)

The folders are usually hidden by default, are you copy and pasting from the message I linked into the run window (Windows key + r)?
i'm copying from the linked into the run window, because when this error happens they send me to the folder that is having this error
I gotcha, the crash error that the game sends you to is readable by the devs but all i can tell from the error log is that it's something related to the graphics
But the output log file shows everything the games doing until it crashes so it usually tells a lot, if you still can't find it then you could try stuff like making sure you're windows and graphics drivers are up to date, restarting your PC and running a repair in the games launcher

In the hoyoplay launcher? They're should be a 3 lines menu next to start with a repair option
Let's hope, if not then try to open the game again and then restart your computer and try to find the output log file again, or at least the dxdiag screenshots so I can see what version you're drivers are at

characters have different models/animations depending of the scene, on the bridge they enter a non-combat state, so probably that is making on some valks to have less "vfx" details, is not the only one

Yeah I did top up using the website (to get the ely outfit) and it worked fine
If you don't remember your password, you can go to your Profile (Username/ID top left on the Bridge), then Account, you can click Change next to "Device Lock: Enabled" then click "Disable Password". It'll take 72 hours.
I do recommend re-enabling Device Lock afterwards though, and make sure you write down the password.
Must have set it up without thinking to write it down, you can still do the action you are wanting by playing for 3-7 days in a row and spending some stamina to unlock that device and make it a "regular" device. The lock is mostly in place to let you skip that

or you can disable it entirely, though it is recommended to keep it on for security so that if someone hacks your account they cant blackmail you to threaten to delete everything or anything like that until you have enough time to contact customer support

Ah ok this helped me figure it out, ty. It worked under Cloudflare WARP which was confusing to me, as I already use Cloudflare as my upstream DNS provider - but it seems like a HI3 update made it so the Top Up page requires bh3-sdk-os-static.hoyoverse.com, which previously was a data-logging only endpoint, so I had it blocked on my network. Unblocking it fixed the issue.
ah i see, yeah having it blocked would prevent it from loading but im glad you got it figured out 
Ok well this is an oddly specific issue, but having launched the game with WARP appears to have changed my in-game currency to Euros lmao, is there a way to fix that
if WARP lets you pick what server its routing through you might need to take it out of an EU country, if it doesnt then all i can suggest is turning it off i guess since its just showing that currency since thats where it thinks you're at
but WARP has connection servers all over the place, it probably just randomly routed your connection through an EU country as its endpoint so the game thinks you're in europe
But the thing is I no longer have WARP enabled, im back on my normal home network lmao
but it still has it in euros
it doesn't really matter too much since I can just use the website top up center but it's a bit annoying
im guessing you had the game closed while turning warp off?
if not then try restarting your device and that should hopefully fix it

cs doesn't offer that service, once the game account is linked to HYV is there forever.
One thing you can do if you don't mind different server times is to play on another server, if you never login on those, will create a new account for that server and you will get the starter event, if not, your only option is to create a new HYV account

after login, go to security and remove the trusted device
that problem is kinda "common", sometimes is just the cache is not updating and is making you still get the wrong "location" even after changing a network, in other cases is the ISP/DNS having some issues, on the post you shared, sound like some ISP is causing the issue

could be a couple of things then, first in case its a connection issue try restarting your phone and try both on wifi and mobile data. if that doesnt help then try the forgot password to reset your password and see if that helps

ok, since restarting and changing networks from wifi/mobile data and changing your password didnt help then first try clearing out the cache by going to settings > apps > honkai impact 3 and then delete the cache (NOT data, if you delete the data you'll have to redownload everything)
after that then restart your phone again and try opening the game and if its still happening then its definitely a connection issue so i'd recommend trying to use a VPN to fix it temporarily, if you dont have one that you use then this pin has a couple of good free ones that you can try

Unless they changed it, the only supported non hoyoverse top up method was codashop but that was always only for SEA accounts, theres no way to gift crystals to NA accounts so any site claiming to be able to top up for you for non SEA accounts or honkai impact 3rd (instead of honkai impact 3) is also probably just scamming you
or would want your login info which is a ToS violation

Like Iho said, the issue is your graphics drivers, they arent that out of date but they do seem to be causing issues so you will need to reinstall those.
First you will need to go to https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-26.1.1-win11-jan-vega-polaris.exe and download that, DONT run it yet, just download it and remember where you downloaded it.
Next you will need to cleanly uninstall your current drivers so you'll need DDU (display driver uninstaller) so go to https://www.wagnardsoft.com/DDU/download/DDU v18.1.4.3.exe and download and run that program. The default options are fine, just make sure that if it does not detect your graphics card that you select the AMD option.
After that is done uninstalling your graphics drivers, restart your computer. After its finished restarting go to where you downloaded the AMD drivers in the first step and run that to do a fresh install of your drivers. Once those are done restart your computer again and that should fix it

When I try to use the PC Client, it removed my previous login state, I then tried to login normally via user+pw but this error keeps popping up. Tried restarting PC and Router but no bueno.
I could login via Android in the same network so not really sure if it's even a network related issue.

GLB have a server selection on the top-right part of the elevator screen to change between NA & EU
because of your UID your account should be on the SEA server, so check that you have that ver. of the game installed

can you check if you can login to account.hoyoverse.com on the browser or if you have the same problem that the game, if you are able to login, something is blocking the connection of the game, could be the firewall, an antivirus, in some cases some adblocker add the HYV sites too...

It's pretty rare, but it might be an issue with your cache, can you try deleting it? Keep in mind it'll default all of your settings and stuff though

then it is definitely a connection issue if you deleted both the registry and appdata folder.
You can always try repairing in the hoyoplay launcher just in case but this is almost certainly a connection issue. the only thing i can think of is if wireguard lets you pick the country you route to try routing to a different country and if it doesnt try protonVPN since its free from the pin that iho had you look at earlier since it usually works ok with hi3 and wireguards connection route still might be putting your connection on a troublesome route.
Though if that doesnt work i'd also recommend reporting it to customer support so they can get some connection logs to see whats going on exactly with it #how-to-contact-cs
usually though this kind of thing goes away within a few days to a few weeks, however long it takes whoever's data center is dropping your connection on the way to hi3 fixes their problem
The thing is the browser hoyoverse account works just fine, mobile browser and game works too. It doesn't matter if I have VPN(wgcf), DNS(adguard) or default network settings, those work no problems. They are yeah so thats why the website works on your pc, as far as mobile working on the same network as PC, ISP's or routers tend to route things in whatever way they think is best at the moment you make a connection and then remember that for a while, if you havent tried you can also do things like clear your DNS cache, or turn off your router for about 5-10 minutes and then turn it back on to try to get your pc on the same connection but no guarantees with that

The only account that may get banned is the one that you topped up on.
I know you want a guarantee, but as long as your crystal amount doesn't go negative as a result, then I don't think it'll get banned. But no guarantees, it still could be by I know people have done chargebacks without getting banned as long as their total stays in the positive. they're being vague because they have a no refund policy.
There is the character quality setting, but tbh everything else affects both the valk and everything else. But the less pixel thing you're looking for is rendering accuracy, though that can get pretty GPU intensive

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my PC, because I'm having some other weird stuff going on. Some images weren't loading, and disabling IPv6 fixed it. Then I ran "netsh winsock reset

then it is an ISP issue, most likely your phones service provider is piggy backing off of your home internets outbound connection routes.
All a VPN does as far as HI3 goes is force your connection to route differently, its still using your ISP though and the issue is that your ISP or area's outbound data center is misrouting the connection, or favors a connection that is unstable which considering the other stuff going on its probably the latter part, large area's of the world's internet infrastructure is a bit unstable at the moment so if your local area favors routing through a currently unstable route then it could be causing all of this, a VPN forces it to route differently so thats why it fixes it

Ah for that you will need to uninstall the honkai impact 3 and then after that since iPhone only shows the regional version for the app that your Apple account is set to. So after uninstalling the one you have you either need to:
Change the location of your current Apple account to an NA address, though this would affect any other apps availability if you need someone that is only local to the country it's set to.
Create a new Apple account with an NA address and then just sign into that one before installing the game in the store
With an NA address for your Apple account it'll show the right version of the game in the app store. It's just only having the 3 because your address is set to a southeast Asia address atm

any idea what could be causing my pc client to be super laggy suddenly? Only jsut started yesterday, usually runs perfectly fine at high fame rate, no patches or anythign since then
first thing to try would be to check for windows updates and restart your PC and see if that helps. If not then you can also try running the repair in both the launcher and the lower left of the login screen to see if that fixes any broken game files. You can also clear your shader cache if you're using an nVidia graphics card. If your GPU also got a driver update within the last week or so as well you can consider trying to uninstall that and installing an older version in case a recent graphics driver update is causing some issues with hi3's graphics

yeah it goes like that sometimes. a graphics driver update, or windows being windows and needing an update or a restart will usually only affect one or two things, and even though HI3 is made by the same company it uses different unity versions and has different dev teams than the other games so lots of things can affect just one out of the handful of games they make

@daring tendon if your server is correct then it is simply just you're using the incorrect account and there is no hoyoverse account with what you are trying.
This can happen a lot of times if someone used google account to login but then tries to use that google accounts email address since gmail email address is not the same login as the google account login, they are two different account logins. Same with appleID.
If you used to play on steam then its because steam doesnt use hoyoverse accounts so you'd need to use the steam version.
But like vita said if you are 100% sure you are both using the right server and the right login then you will need to contact customer support and provide your UID and they'll help figure out what account you need to sign in #how-to-contact-cs

If your game is crashing a lot then the next time it happens before you try to reopen the game do the following:
Press Windows + R, input dxdiag.
Please get screenshots of the System and Display tabs (+ Render tab if present). And put them in a message describing your issue along with your output log so we can see what the game was doing when it crashed. To get your output log do the following:
Press Windows + R, and input %userprofile%\Appdata\LocalLow\miHoYo\ and put the output log file in here along with screenshots of the 2+ dxdiag screens along with a description of your issue (like when it crashes if it does it in the same area, etc).
unfortunately the error.log doesnt show me anythiung that i can read, all it points at is that the crash is somehow related to directx so it might be graphical in nature. But thats why i need the dxdiag screenshots and the output log, assuming you havent opened the game since it last crashed then the output log will usually tell me exactly why

Ok let me look this over real quick
So it's almost definitely your graphics drivers that are causing the problem. What I would recommend is first just in case the game files are corrupted and false reporting the issue you can run a repair in the hoyoplay launcher. But what you'll most likely need to do is uninstall and reinstall your graphics drivers since those are what the game is saying are causing the issue.
To cleanly reinstall your graphics drivers first please download the Nvidia GeForce experience app but don't install it yet.
Then go to https://www.wagnardsoft.com/DDU/download/DDU v18.1.4.3.exe to download and run the display driver uninstaller DDU to cleanly uninstall your graphics drivers.
After uninstalling them please restart your computer and then run the Nvidia thing you downloaded earlier to reinstall them. Then restart your computer again and that should fix it

bruhh game was running fine after i used the check download assets and as soon as i went to the lobby my game crashed...

ok i went to the launcher to check where it is locating the game files but instead of showing d drive it showed c drive so i did the locate thing and now it seems to work...

could be other stuff causing the problem too, that is why is better to check the output log, because records everything until the game closes (both normally or by a crashing, that is why need to be the file created right after the crash)
if the output is the same as before then could be a problem with the driver/GPU/OS itself... but is the better to check before doing anything
If it doesn't then even though you have the latest driver it could be that the latest driver has some issues with the game, but here's to hoping that redownloading the assets help

no that shouldnt be causing it, and its still saying that its graphical related but since you reinstalled your graphics drivers yesterday, assuming that there isnt some incompatibility with the newest nvidia 3050 drivers with the lobby (which can be fixed by uninstalling your current drivers and installing an earlier version of them, this is called a rollback)
it could be an issue with your windows directx runtime, since the errors are about directx which is usually about the graphics drivers but can possibly be about the directx runtime itself. try going here and just download and run the installer, no need to do anything fancy with uninstalling it'll just handle that itself #🔌technical-help message
after thats done try restarting the game and if the game is still doing it then i can find an older nvidia driver to replace your newest one to rollback your drivers from the newest ones. its not super rare but it happens enough where the latest drivers having some incompatibility with live service games until nvidia fixes it with the next driver

I gotcha, then your directx is probably fine, tbh the latest version is almost 2 years old now
could be a problem with the OS/Driver too, in recent months some OS update had made RTX cards have some issues (different depending of the "update/driver" ver.)
you could try to force the game on running on your iGPU and check if you still get the crashes
if you want to try rolling your graphics driver back to an older version, heres one from january so its not too old or anything. You can use DDU again to uninstall your current one and then install this one https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/results/263200/ for your laptops graphics card
theres also the option of contacting hi3 customer support while you try this to see if they know anything to try #how-to-contact-cs
but hopefully rolling it back to an earlier version will fix it, or an alternative is what Iho suggested with making the game use your integrated graphics instead of the nvidia one. Might have to turn the graphics settings down a bit but it should at least let you do the lobby stuff

there is no way in honkai impact 3rd to transfer or buy crystals for other people for glb servers, they would have had to ask you for your account login information to "buy" it for you which account sharing is against ToS and can result in a ban if discovered (plus they were probably going to just steal your account after getting your login data)

like a drawing tablet? yeah you can, idk if the game lets you use it as a "mouse" or anything but it can be plugged in np (i had left my wacom plugged in for like a couple of months and the game never complained about it)

using a controller or what the game thinks is a controller is not against ToS for the pc version 
if you have some turbo controller thing doing macro's then sure the anticheat will probably pick that up but having a drawing tablet plugged in wont do anything

hey friend sorry major late reply. i didnt do the thing becuz i forgot about it for a bit but now im doing it question how long will this issue persist? also the customer support didnt rlly help me much just said do the fix on launcher then do the check/delete download files and stop all background apps so im doing it now
if you dont do anything? cant really say, could be as early as tomorrow if the issue is your drivers and nvidia fixes it, or it might persist until their next big driver update

other games should be fine, just make sure to have auto updates turned off and turn them back on in a few months and you should be fine

before i did the DDU
then im not sure what it could be, but you can try what Iho suggested and going to your windows settings > graphics settings and finding hi3 and set its GPU preference to what should be the power saving mode which is your iGPU which wont use the nvidia GPU at all
it could in theory be a broken windows thing with directx and a system restore fixes that but thats a pretty extreme thing to try especially if you dont have restore points setup

thats a good first list of things to try, tell them you did all that and it didnt fix it and send them your error.log, crash dump and output.log files

no, every detected app would be there, you'll have to manually add it in with the add desktop app
the file you'll want to add is bh3.exe in your installation folder
