as far as hi3 is concerned, if you know your UID (account ID) then you can email hi3 customer support and explain your issue and they can start the account recovery process. #how-to-contact-cs has their email addresses

idk if this is because of the vm but this legacy bios windows looks fairly stable

they shouldnt, but for anything important shouldnt isnt something to bank on so i always recommending making sure important stuff is on an external drive or the cloud but if they have only windows and all documents/important stuff on the other drive it probably wont have any issues

I had them make a bootable usb so even if windows crashes, they can just take whatever data in the SSD they need to save(mostly just appdata prolly, ill guide them through that if that happens)

It sometimes just takes 10-20 minutes, especially if there's any network related issues but it usually goes away after the one time so I'd recommend to let it sit until you get in and if it happens again you can restarting your device or running the repair on the game but if that still doesn't fix it I think you'll need to wait for your Internet provider to fix their issue

I mean… I don’t really see a way of how it could be abused or what I’d even could do with it… but basically I’m thinking about setting one of the back-side controller buttons to “make screenshot” or so (not exactly sure yet even if that’s easily do-able, but hey!) and wanna be sure that it’s not somehow bannable.

ToS only covers things that give players an "unfair advantage" so if its detecting something like macro buttons or macro software running it can trigger the anticheat but i've been using one of my mouse buttons with greenshot to take screenshots for a while now and have been fine so i think as long as you're not macroing your combat its fine

for the account retreival button, the account in question has to not be used since mid 2022 since the account retrieval isnt a general account recovery thing, its specifically to link old mihoyo accounts to the hoyoverse account system which is the only way to log into the game since 2022.

if you are on the first chapters that is normal for JP VA, those chapters got a rework some time ago and they didn't re-record the new lines, on a couple of chapters later the JP voices comeback

and about the resources you have the option to manage them in the resources menu on the “Ai-phone", for example you can delete assets from chapters you already completed

there is no official launcher or client for linux unfortunately, so theres no way to do that that officially or anything like that. Running the game in a windows emulator can trigger the anticheat due to running the pc client in a virtual machine and some people in the past got auto banned for it so i cant recommend trying that either

collapse isnt lightweight like BetterHI3 but it does have more features than the official launcher and does support all the hoyoverse games so it kinda boils down to if you want to go official, or not official with more features for your launcher

hoyo play launcher doesnt really have issues, and all of the pc plague issues like the subtitle fix have been patched out over the years. collapse also usually doesnt have issues, and if they do their discord server is pretty responsive with fixing them fast.

these days most file corruption issues are caused by network connection issues so the launcher preference is mostly preference

Unity does a lot yeah but i should clarify the base game installation does include all the valks, all the enemies, combat and sound effects, the first 9 chapters of content and a lot of the map and audio assets for doing the non main story things

then no, the .apk is the exact same thing the google play store downloads to your phone so just download and run the .apk, then you can open the game and update after maintainence is over

My elysian realm is bugged, ive done two different runs and gotten stuck at the same place.
I did the normal hle rotation. (weapon, Ult, b4, weapon ult etc.)

Is there a graphics setting optimization guide for mobile? There are probably some settings that eat power but bring very little benefit for example.

i dont know of a guide, its kind of the same with mobile as pc where things like rendering accuracy is one of the biggest contributors. I will say for mobile specific the battery saver option actually makes the game run worse than without it so i generally recommend not turning that on

but I will say lyo that if you do end up having to go to the hoyoplay launcher if the only game you manage is hi3 then this is all you'll see (the circled thing is where you go to add other hoyo games for it to manage), and it can detect your existing installation so no need to reinstall or anything.

well initially it was going away and builda made an announcement in the launcher for that, cuz builda is gonna retire and wasnt going to update it to work with the new update method which doesnt download the whole base game and just does the new stuff like their other games. 8.5 CN is like that so builda thought the rest were going to be like that but the rest of the servers are in A/B testing and neon said they'd update the launcher, so assuming neon isnt overworked and does it then its gonna stick around

Just in game my Speed fell good download and have eat all my Internet connection, but when it comes to the download in launcher, i fell loose connection or very slowly, Im check it often and time to time speed change (the difference can be either small or large)*, but it is rarely at high speed.

I'm not sure if this is a special limitation or the specifics of the launcher. Or it's just some kind of problem on my part (but it just seems strange to me that there are problems in the launcher, but most of the time this problem is absent inside the game)

*I paused and rebooted the router, sometimes it doesn't help.

Its np! and for your question, that kind of depends on where the bottleneck for your download speed, they arent any faster in theory than the hoyoplay launcher, but if there is an issue with the hoyoplay launcher itself and not your internet or ISP or anything that is causing the speed to be slow for the launcher update (not the in game update) then the other launchers might help with that.

generally speaking the hoyoplay launcher downloads as fast as it can, i've seen over 60MB/s with it on my internet before

but for the in game download speed, the launcher you use doesnt matter for that, it'll be as fast or slow as it is

but if you do try another launcher, and change your mind, you dont have to do anything special to go back, you can just not open that launcher and go back to opening the hoyoplay launcher to update/open the game

I may be miss (i can miss with MB and Mb), but my most High internet connection is 12 MB ||(14+ MB/s is most noticed somehow, but usually is 12 MB/s- mb that just a special feature of the launcher or game that I downloaded) ||, Im not sure if i can somehow check is problem in my side, not launcher, it can jump from 1 MB/s to 10 MB/s .
For some reason, this applies more to other games, with HI3rd loading goes more smoothly (even in the launcher, although sometimes there are problems).

Just for example i can download game from Steam without that "jumping" or mostly not so much (more stable i guess fit here).

I tried it on my end too and it softlocks me there as well. The only variance is the initial position of the bugged npc. Other NPCs work just fine.

but I do know I have no memory of this specific issue, all of talking to NPC crashes the game has been for other events that i can remember. But i might have forgotten though i did look around and couldnt find a mention of it though if someones reported it in here back then and i forgot about it they probably didnt name the event or call it the thelema event in their message because all of my searches didnt yield anything

there was one before caused by the connection that broke the "game controls" but everything else work fine, probably that one is the one you remember, but this one looks like a broken sequence/animation that is even blocking the menu for what you said

if you uninstall the launcher it should ask you if you want to keep the files, but you can rename the game folder just in case before that to keep the files

keep in mind that HYP most likely will ask for the same amount of storage to install the update as the old one (~20gb for the download, 40gb during install)

they are testing a new update system but only some users will get that option for now, you will have to see if you are lucky, if not, then you will have to reinstall the game if you dont have enough free storage

If you are using ai to get the answer that can explain the wrong steps you are getting... Do you have another drive with enough storage?
You can find here the game install size #🔌technical-help message, keep in mind for the "install/update" process you need double the storage, after that finish, the size will go down to the numbers show there

Ok then you just have to copy/move the game folder to the new location (the "honkai impact 3## game" one, not the launcher folder) after that, you can use this steps to show the launcher the new location

I recommend you to copy the folder instead of directly moving, sometimes using the "cut/move" option with a big number of files can fail and you will not have the spare files on the original location

Once you have the game ready to update/working on the new location delete the files on the old location

so, I'm getting a pretty consistent crash on Ely's tutorial in Stellar Outburst Cycle 2, right when Vita does her ultimate and QTE's to Hi Love Elf. I checked with dxdiag and, while it says my drivers are from 2020, but Device Manager says everything's up to date.

technical lines from the error log:
d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module d3d11.dll at 0033:0498c370.
Read from location 000000b1 caused an access violation.

I'm guessing I'll need to submit a repot; where would I go to do that?

yeah those are as up to date as they will be, but 2GB of vram for your integrated GPU is probably the issue, its basically as close to the minimum as it could be without not running the game at all so its probably some new graphics thing with their stellar outburst, though no one else has reported it in here so i'd recommend notifying CS just in case #how-to-contact-cs has their emails, but to get past that you might need to run the game in windowed mode at like 720p or something like that since that'll use less VRAM

did the game change the way for logging in? as in the way you can change your servers (america and eu for global). i recently redownloaded the game, logged in my account and it brought me back right from the beginning when i've had a ton of progress

The servers work the same way as before, if you play on glb (na and eu servers) you will find the servers selección on the top-right of the login screen

Other thing could be a wrong login info, for example many users mistake a "gmail" login with a google account login, those are different so login with the wrong one will create a new account

can you send it the next time it crashes. all the error log is telling me is that you dont have much free RAM left and it thinks the issue is with d3d11 which doesnt tell much, the output log will show what the game was doing at the very instant it crashed and why

but it generates an output log in the honkai impact 3 or 3rd folder every time the game is run

for the directx, if the sfc command doesnt fix it. i recommend using DDU to completely uninstall any graphic drivers, then install the latest drivers for your chipset and then run the directx end-uer runtime web installer from microsoft to try and see if it'll fix any directx components

But that'll just get your directx to stop giving errors. Your PC is too below with to guarantee anything. Might get better performance at like 640 resolution window mode at lowest graphic options but that's just lowering the burden on your graphics
