oh you meant this one i gotcha. yeah they always have very barebones info in this screen because of the limited text space (this one is already almost full if you want to see the picture so they always put finer details in teh news tab. i get how it can be confusing but its also how they've always done it

im sorry, are you using VPN and stuff when updating? usually verification error is due to corrupted downloads which is usually your ISP being unstable/misrouting your connection

I dont use a VPN im giving this game one last download attempt. this time im capping the download speed at 10mb. because supposedly this helps reduce corruption. if this doesn't work. im out. i'll put the several hundred i spend each month to better use

i gotcha, but i will say that due to how international network traffic works a VPN does help with it. if you dont want to use one thats fine but it does absolutely help with the issue you're having

like luna said is mostly your connection having issues, if is not stable enough doesn't matter what speed you have, it will corrupt the download
you have options like on pc using a custom launcher / using a download manager / VPN... , but if you want to go to the "root" of the problem you only options is to talk to your ISP or change it, still that doesn't mean that could fix the issue 100% but you can reduce almost fully
~~still HYV will release a new launcher "soon" but i cant say if is the same or if they plan to add some stuff to prevent problems like to of happening ~~
did you use a "password manager" to copy-paste your old password?
Saved passwords from Google. It never gets it wrong like that.
if you want to not use a VPN you can also manually download, its also recommended for the launcher download issues but if you want to leave then thats up to you

tbh we dont have much info on the mac version, but you could test something by seeing if you have a rendering accuracy setting in your graphics settings and if you do then try lowering that and see if it helps. if it does then maybe the mac version isnt optimized that well yet, either way might want to report this to customer support #how-to-contact-cs

talking about optimization, there is no more 60fps cap on non-combat
unfortunately on part 2 maps i lost like 15 fps avg

might try restarting your device and try again, if it keeps happening contact customer support since they're the ones that can actually help with payment issues like that. you're doing it correctly so its probably just bugged out. but you wont lose your account or anything, the game is just most likely bugging out, if there was an account issue it wouldnt show itself as that error so if restarting your device doesnt fix anything then email customer support so they can check on their end whats going on #how-to-contact-cs
(keep in mind though that customer support can take 1-3 days to reply back depending on the issue and how busy they are)
but luckily that banner will be up for weeks iirc so you have plenty of time to fix it

and its ok if you didnt purchase the crystals, you probably got them from playing the game, you do get some crystals for playing and logging in and stuff
I got the 600 from updating the game for the new unit
but customer support should be able to help fix the issue where you have enough crystals but its not letting you spend the 280 for a 1x pull
but getting 600 for updating is normal, the fact you didnt swipe a credit card for them doesnt affect spending them in the game
oh right! uhh, I clicked on the lto and it said something about 900 crystals or whatever, but I just ignored it

hmm, did you maybe try and had a credit card issue so it didnt go through or does anyone else have access to your account?
but you will need to top up since what happened was you got crystals that hoyoverse didnt get the money for (usually happens when a credit card payment doesnt finish processing so it "refunds" the money in a little bit but the game thinks the payment was fine so it gives you the crystals for a day or two) and if you spent that then you sort of have a negative crystal count.
if you dont pay it back they will honestly ban your account like the mail says, you can ask customer support to help but they are very firm about this kind of stuff, i dont think i've ever heard of them giving people an extension or forgetting about it

Well like I said you can try asking customer support to help, you can explain that you don't have a way to pay so it wasn't you and you didn't even play that day and you haven't shared your account with anyone else ever and hopefully they can help

Usually this happens because someone tops up and spends the crystals but then their bank doesn't process the payment and refunds the money but the player already spent the crystals so they have a "negative" balance and so they have to top up the required amount to avoid getting banned

That's their email yes, you can also send them an email normally or use the in game support button in ai Chan phone. If you have a way to top up then just the normal way to top up works

the issue is that the download got corrupted during the download so the update or "patch" file is not usable right now sadly 
its scarier than it sounds, a corrupt file can happen if half a MB didnt get downloaded or something like that. it usually happens if your internet connection to honkai servers is unstable, got interrupted or takes a long time (therefore a longer amount of time for it to have issues with the connection) so thats why manually downloading it from your web browser helps and if it takes a long time (hours) to download then using a download manager like FDM like bagusnl suggested can help too

you could ask customer support but its very new so any expansions on its capabilities and so on probably are not going to be a priority till they make it more stable for the current version, quite a handful of graphical errors i've seen today plus they need to update the app store to at least mention its for mac isntead of just ipad/iphone

hmm your phone is above the minimum specs, the nova 9 that is. not by a lot but it shouldnt be crashing cuz potato phone or anything like that. have you tried to repair the game installation yet? if not then try opening the game, and at the login screen click the red repair icon at the bottom left corner and try repairing. if that doesnt help if its not too much trouble on your internet you can try reinstalling the game too, might fix a broken update

yeah your phone isnt super incompatible. might wanna check and update any OS updates on the phone too but since they're usually automatic that might be up to date

yup, read the first pin in here, to be honest the huawei accounts are going away in two months so you'll need to transfer your account before then so you dont lose it

Wait is Hi3 not available on mac airs?
you can try lowering the graphics settings, if its a gpu overload causing it then that can help but if it happens again, sending your dxdiag screenshots and the output log will let me see what your computers working with, what version its drivers/windows are at and the output log shows what exactly the game was doing when it crashed so i should hopefully be able to see what the issue is with that info

no your specs are fine, its usually due to a driver or something else issue which is why your dxdiag screenshots and output log is needed to be able to pinpoint the issue

Nah that part is fine, but that phone has an adreno 660 GPU which is a bit underpowered for hi3 these days

nah its ok for now, and the drivers look fine 
try first repairing the game installation by clicking the 3 lines next to launch in the launcher and click repair game. once thats done it should hopefully fix it but if it crashes again, drag and drop your output.txt file in here so i can see what the game was doing when it crashed. you can get that by Pressing Windows + R, and input %userprofile%\Appdata\LocalLow\miHoYo\ and put the output log file in here

but for reference, the adreno 650 was the minimum official gpu requirements when APHO2 released (partly due to bad optimization lmao)
i set my settings to Performance then i went to p2 city it still drop 5-9fps
but still above 50fps
yeah thats normal tbh, the part 2 city is significantly more graphics intensive than the rest of the game

like i accidently entered without even lowering graphics
and it worked regardless
yeah sometimes that just happens. A real pain to "fix" since just saying like "of just go touch some grass and it'll work, trust" isn't very legitimate

for that error the only thing i've seen that reliably works is to reinstall the game 
though please also report it to customer support so they're aware and if they have a solution that doesnt involve reinstalling please let me know

nope, just comes back and when they click the button the game closes and its an endless loop, at least everyone that i've had try it

i cant remember everything i tried but i remember having people try everything i can think of when it first started happening when 7.3 started

i've been telling everyone if i remember to report it to customer support but at the least its not totally fixed even if they've done something to fix it for most people
the lack of error also really makes it hard to pinpoint what the game thinks the cause is

i mean you can see the box for yourself in their message, its never given an error code and that window itself when launching the game can give errors ranging anywhere from connection issues, to corrupted file issues download issues (caused by connection issues lmao) windows IO errors and so on so there is a lot of possibilities it could be. maybe i'll pretend i have that issue and email customer support to see what the official solution is

R alt is a way to change input modes while in game, could be that you press that key by accident

Is there a way to force fullscreen on 720x480 resolution? It's the only one my weak-ahh laptop likes in this game without severe stutters
Obviously I'd prefer to play utilizing the whole screen instead of a small window, though
I tried forcing fullscreen via regedit and shortcut command. Neither worked, the game's will is too strong
hmm, if changing it in regedit and with holding shift while clicking launch doesnt work then i dont know of any way that would do it. maybe try the regedit a few more times or the collapse launcher (which honestly just changes the regedit but who knows it might work) but those are the only two ways to actually do it

actually now that i think about it there is another way, a dumb as hell way... but you can change your monitor resolution before opening the game and just set the game to fullscreen and it should work but thats like a lot of extra work

I meant adding a -fullscreen command on the desktop shortcut (I created a shortcut to the game's exe directly) ngl my laptop is so weak I try to play without the launcher just to save a few extra resources
yeah its a lot of changes, once you get used to the UI the only real significant change is switching to "part 2 mode" or what have you to go into the new area but thats really just another open world like apho2, and in fact the astral ring thing is essentially the same thing as the moon ring mechanic in apho2. but yeah it all looks pretty different

personally i think so, like for instance they added a quick upgrade menu so you can upgrade equipment to max level in 1 click now instead of doing it like 9 times

Genshin has the 7 elements (think of it as types but they're 7) with each having their own color and at the character screen the background color changes depending on who you have selected

tbh i dont think a VPN will work but its the only thing that people havent tried yet, if a VPN doesnt change anything then contact customer support and let them know, maybe they have a fix that doesnt involve reinstalling (make sure you let them know you're on steam) #how-to-contact-cs

as it says, some game files are corrupt and its suggesting you reinstall the game. you can try repairing from the launcher first to see if that fixes it (3 lines next to launch) but if that doesnt work then you'll need to reinstall the game and launcher

but if nothing else works, i think its because that device is below the minimum specs in almost every category (chipset is too low, along with GPU and ram) so it might not be compatible with that device, it depends on if they've made it like that in the .apk package itself so its worth trying some of the other stuff in that article if you really want to try to get it to work

, without the name of it i cant google for any issues with the software not recording audio for some applications but i also havent heard anyone else talk about this issue for honkai specifically, theres of course plenty of recording software issues that have problems with an application or two out of nowhere but i havent heard anyone else talk about this for honkai specifically, i guess since it works for all other applications is to check with honkai customer support though they probably will just say they cant support other software so you might have to contact the people who own the app (probably a 3rd party, lots of phones come bundled with software that wasnt made by the phone manufacturer company)
at this point im not sure if the issue is with honkai, the recorder software, or the phone itself since theres no error messages and a lot of things it could be

yeah thats been a thing for ages 
but so testing done, it did the same thing for you with the built in screen recorder (i have samsung one UI 6 as well) and it did the same, no audio for honkai but audio for other apps.
i tried a different screen recording app from the google play store and it worked fine with honkai, audio and everything.
so the game hasnt restricted audio recordings or anything, its the screen recorder app itself that is the issue, you can either try a different app or submit a bug report with samsung about it 
np, i googled quite a bit for a viable solution but most of the threads on samsungs support forums i looked at just referred people to submit bug reports about it 

though while looking for other apps to try there are a lot of decent ones for free so there is that

sounds like samsung needs to get their act together 
on mobile? some models have 120 fps but its locked to specific phone models. if your phone doesnt have the option then you can ask customer support to see if they can add it to your phones model

yeah, on some models the settings option goes to 120 fps, but for only select models of phone does that option show up. most phones go to 90fps

well not automatically, from what i heard they have to stress test a specific model which would explain phones with similar or same specs having the option. its not a line of "if phone has x specs give it 120fps" but they test the specific model of phone and unlock it for that specific model

erm hello i kinda need help but i think its just somethign from my pc buuut everytime i open honkai it makes this cutting noise sound everytime i play and the cutting noise only affects the honkai game and not anything else (eg. spotify, utube, anything that makes a sound)

you need to have enable shadowplay on geforce experience/ nvidia app (Alt+Z)
you can use the windows one too if you didn't disable it (Win+G for menu / Win+Alt+R to start recording)

They probably can, but they will need to change many things, there are more clients/ server that GLB/SEA and each one have some differences that they need to take in count... + Like most of the time, the stores have some restrictions so they make them more difficult

in the 3rd step, when they tell me to open the mihoyo I only have the genshin impact file, also in the 4th step in the appdata i dont have the locallow option
Did you reinstalled the game recently? That could explain why you don't have those.
Still, can you check if the game start by running directly the bh3.exe (by default C:\Program Files\Honkai Impact 3\Games)

The launcher is mostly to update the game, when you click "play" on the launcher the only thing that will do is opening bh3.exe for you

At least we know that the launcher is the one with the problem and not the game, probably is the config file that is broken, if you want, you can see if the steps from the "moving the game" from the same pin I shared before can help
@stoic reef briefly coming back to the resolution topic - i changed the pc resolution to be 1024x600, and the game then supported this resolution in fullscreen too. it runs......but there are tons of stutters that I can do nothing about. at least it's not as bad as it was before

What's happening exactly when "your device breaks at the same time and place"? And I think it's unrelated to the honkai .apk file. They can't corrupt your internal storage like that so unless your storage is failing on its own already it should be unrelated to the .apk file

go ahead and try going to the device manager (press windows key + r and type devmgmt.msc and hit enter) and in the audio inputs and outputs as well as the sound, video and game controllers go ahead and see if theres multiple realtek audio sources there. if there are delete/uninstall both of them and try reinstalling the audio drivers from the file you still have downloaded

what most likeley happen was maybe one of the files was corrupted causing the blue blank notification to happen

Hello, i am trying hi3 on mac, it runs really smooth but doesn't seem it have mouse input support. Is it normal or something is wrong?
You can enable it on the key options, and on Win you can use R-Alt to enable/disable it in-game, idk if you can use the same on mac with the equivalent button (option)
The problem is i didn't see the option
some users had that issue and fix it with a simple restart of the game.

n one of the areas of the pt2 zones there is a texture area on the ground that is completely missing and see thru. i am wondering if there is any way to repair the client or textures in an attempt to fix it

okay so ever since the UI has been updated, HI3 has been lagging like crazy on my PC snd half the time it isnt able to register my keyboard clicks either ( like if i wanna use sushang’s skill, it just doesnt work despite me pressing u ) and overall the entire UI looks very slow, including the game movement, and this is despite my settings being on the lowest graphic setting

you are kinda on the min specs to run the game (you can check those here #🔌technical-help message) , the only thing you can do is to lower the resolution (720 or lower) and play on the lowest settings
if you pc have the option, you should add more ram, to run the game on igpu is recommended to have 16GB of ram
and check your power settings too, windows could be running on "eco" mode and not letting the game run on high performance

I'm using a Huawei device so there's no google play so I've always used the app Gspace to access google playstore and I've never experienced app crash ever since I started playing until recently after the update of Thelema. The app just suddenly close after a few second or minutes whenever I log in.
I'm aware about the HI3 being available to app gallery but I forgot the reason why I didn't install there, maybe there's a delay in update or Login issue regarding to google account.

if it is above the minimum specs then you can try to reinstall the app (not much else you can do really since its not opening to the login screen)
and for the app gallery, it will shortly be unavailable in there anymore (you can look at the first pin for more details) but dont install via app gallery, its incompatible with hoyoverse accounts
please read the event details in the news button on the main menu, it says that will be available in 7 days
oh and if it is above the minimum specs and a reinstall does not work then you'll need to try official customer support

yeah it should be ok then, since theres no repair function outside of the game about the only thing you can do is clear the cache (settings > apps > honkai impact 3 > clear cache (NOT data) and restart your device but if that doesnt work then you'll need to wait on customer support or reinstall

probably a corrupted download file maybe by a connection issue, just because your internet was downloading it very fast doesnt always mean it was doing it very stable. But i'd try the manual download instructions right above your message to manually update the launcher

Hey question which is better the oppo f11 pro or the galaxy a22 5g, getting a hand me down so I can see which can play honkai better
Probably the a22 5g. It's more budget then the oppo but its years newer and both have nearly the same gpu but the a22 5g goes up to Android 11 and the oppo goes up to 9 iirc
You may need to turn off their game optimiser with some software tho, afaik it's quite shit

Budget doesn't matter since it's a hand me down whichever that has more performance tbh
i just meant by the budget comment that their stats are sort of similar despite the oppo being a lot more expensive because while the a22 is a budget phone and should have budget phone expectations performance wise, it is still years newer than the oppo one if that makes sense, they have nearly the same gpu, and the a22 has a slightly better chipset and newer android OS (aka more compatible apps) and all that but thats about it that i could tell on a busy work day

hello!! id want to ask for help about the account binding for honkai, is it not possible to unbind your hi3 account that is binded w/ a dummy hoyoverse acc and bind it to another hoyoverse acc? ive made a huge mistake with my account a long time ago and i have also unfortunately made an accidental acc trying to bind my current hoyoverse acc to my old hi3 acc (it was also such a long story) but i decided to just leave it alone for a long time now until i recently checked my old untouched hoyolab acc and it displayed the wrong hi3 details (the details displayed were from the accidental account i made) which i was rlly bugged about, i tried to seek solutions and try to fix it, is it rlly just hopeless atp? i have tried to look up answers n such but its quite confusing, either way thank you :)
it is not possible to unbind a honkai account from a hoyoverse account sadly. But if you cannot access your old honkai account (becasue you've forgotten the hoyoverse its bound to or lost access to the hoyoverse its bound to becuase it was hacked or something) then if you have the UID of your old honkai account you can email customer support and see if they can help recover that for you so you can link it to a new hoyoverse or maybe your regular one, though they normally do not unbind accidentally made accounts since you can log into them just fine. #how-to-contact-cs
thank you so much! , i still actually have an access to it, and the accidental account. ive seen posts saying that cs deletes the said honkai account once the hoyoverse acc has been successfully unbinded, is that true? if so, then i dont have anymore other options right? since i can log into both just fine? i was just about to contact cs but i realized ill lose years of progress and memories.. so i think its hopeless at that point but i wanted to see if i still had a bit of hope left to fix the problem
that is not true, they do not delete any honkai accounts unless its ones that are still in the very first tutorial stage and even then i suspect that they do not actually delete those either since there is no function to "delete" an account. But they also will not "unbind" an account for any reason. If you cannot access an account they will "recover" it for you like if your account got hacked or something but if you can login they will almost guaranteed say that they cannot do it since you can login and access all your accounts.
but no the game account cannot get deleted. if they do somehow agree to "unbind" the account for you then you will just have to do link it to another hoyoverse account with the account retreival button. The "delete" posts you are talking about are probably referring to hi3 accounts made too recent to exist in the old mihoyo account system so the account retreival button at the login screen will not work for them so their game account is "lost" becuase they cannot link it to a hoyoverse once its been unlinked/unbound if that makes sense but its not actually deleted.
so im assuming the hi3 account has to be older than 5 or 6 months in order for it to be retrieved? or how long does it have to be old in order for it to register in their system as an old mihoyo account? im very sure my accidental account is older than that since ive left it alone for a whole while now. Im very unsure about considering contacting cs about it cuz ppl said unbinding isnt actually unbinding it but rather deleting it? so i got very confused about it and also scared to do so..
older than that. for a hi3 account to exist in the mihoyo account system it has to be at a minimum older than june, 2022. after then they switched everything over to the hoyoverse account systems and it was impossible to log in with or create accounts on the old mihoyo account system.
you can still ask customer support, they will not do anything until you say its ok to do so and they do not delete accounts. They will also 99% chance say they cannot help you since you can access your hi3 accounts. The only service they provide that unlinks a hi3 account from a hoyoverse account is the account recovery service which is only for people who have lost access to their accounts.
if you're worried about losing access to a hi3 account because of an unbinding service you can easily check if you can still link it to a hoyoverse account by trying to go to the account retrevial button and trying to log into the mihoyo button there. if you can then your account exists in the old mihoyo system and its safe. if it does not log in there then it does not exist and you should not attempt to lose access to that account

This was never happened before. Why did it even have to compile the shaders?? It took abnormally long. It happened since about 7.1 and 7.3
since 7.3 they started doing that everytime the game needed to be updated but as it says its to improve efficiency by compiling them beforehand instead of while the scene is rendering. without that then the part 2 areas i think would be lagging a lot more on a lot more devices than it currently does
but it is supposed to do it everytime the game updates. iirc it doesnt take as long after the first time

So I have another question, I forgot to mention this earlier so sorry but ive also seen from that post i mentioned that apparantly you have to be before or on captain level 15 for your account to be unbinded? And apparantly they have updated it to above captain level 15, are those things true? Because my old hi3 account is at max captain level while my accidental hi3 account isnt, are there rlly any captain level requirements for cs to be able to unbind your account? If so, im really doomed now
, my old account is maxeddd and i just contacted cs too
that was partially true, back when they first switched the account system over there were so many players making accidental accounts that they would unbind accounts that had not completed the tutorial which is around level 12. the main thing was that the accounts they would unbind had not done the tutorial "pull" yet, thereby having a gatcha pull on their account and preventing CS from unbinding it. and this was only for accidental accounts and if the captain did not yet have access to their main hi3 account.
That used to be the case however they have stated in the last 8+ months or so that they cannot unbind any accounts if you can access them as it has always been their policy to do that, they just were bending it a little bit due to the massive influx of players having issues right around when the account switchover took place. it was never level 15 it was always if you had not done the tutorial pull yet or not and as it currently stands, their policy is that they do not unbind any accounts for any reason unless your account has been hacked or you have lost access to the email or facebook, etc and cannot log into it at all, then they do the recovery process for your account but otherwise their policy is that they do not unbind accounts as it always has been, they just made a temporary exception 2 years ago due to the circumstances.
tbh that post that you're reading seems to be both old info that isnt up to date anymore and also has a lot of wrong or half wrong info. like nothing gets deleted, it wasnt lvl 15, etc
but like i said in my first message, unless they've changed their policy very recently unbinding your account is not a service they'll provide unless you cannot access your account and at that point its not an account unbinding request, its an account recovery request

Hello, i had a question about mouse input on mac not appear yesterday. So this is what CS response

I hope they add it in soon. Granted the PC version didn't get mouse support for years but at least we know why it isn't working

I tried opening but it just showed me there was a signal problem so i deleated and then go to there official page to download it on pc , whenever i tried to tap on download it just keep loading so i used vpn to download it and it work. download complete but when i try to download the resources it just keep on loading and in the end it showes error
i just played PGR and Aether gazer they are fine
can you show what error are you getting (click on check details if the popup have it), there are some that are from a connection issues, that the game didnt starting correctly, that the files are corrupted and had issues redownloading,etc.
and keep in mind that because other game/website work, doesn't mean much, your ISP can give you a bad routing and just make you unable to connect to some sites
Game file download error , cheak your network setting and try again this is what it say

That might be why, that's the official mirror that the launcher uses, try the Google drive or the mega one for better results
