if you mean that the borders are soft, then the shadows are kinda correct for max settings, the video you find was using like mid settings (the flowers are not making shadows under them)
but if you are taking about the "leaf color", i saw that some assets changed color on the new ver. (idk if was on purpose) and the light is stronger on the new engine, so looks wrong on some "props/maps"
the only thing you can do at the moment is inform CS about that, because could be a bug #how-to-contact-cs for example one of the "alley" maps had texture issues and was fixed on one of the small update they release

Yeah using another launcher was more of a temporary thing, you still should email customer support because I've told you everything we know what to do and a couple of captains can't back in here to say that customer support fixed it and it worked

i'd recommend reinstalling tbh. also keep in mind if you're not aware of it yet, steam cant use hoyoverse accounts so it'll make a new account when you login

nope, its just steam uses your SteamID to auto make a standalone account that cant be linked to hoyoverse, the files dont really matter with that its a standalone account in the server so any progress on a hoyoverse account will not transfer to steam and visa versa

mhmm that is what should fix it. if you have download issues in general i'd highly recommend one of the custom launchers in the 2nd pin, they handle downloading and installing the game much better than the official one

tbh i have never heard of this before if its just cutting off power to your computer, as a few general things to try maybe check and install any windows updates, double check the first pin that your device meets the recommended specs, make sure your drivers (especially your graphics driver) is up to date.

can also try checking for any corrupt windows files by opening command prompt and typing sfc /scannowand then when thats done type dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

and if it keeps happening maybe try reinstalling if you have the internet for it or contacting customer support #how-to-contact-cs

ok, also if you get a chance send a screenshot of that windows event log critial error. but my thought is that idling at the part 2 bridge, especially if you've maxed out everything could be doing some kind of increased power draw to your gpu and it loses power if your PSU cant keep up, but reinstalling the game would fix a memory leak like that. hard to say without any error messages or anything so if you can the event log would at least narrow it down

well they are different games made by different dev teams and hi3 for instance just got a big and somewhat unoptimized update where its graphics were increased by a lot. but if its lagging on the lowest graphics then first make sure your device meets the recommended specs in the first pin and if you're on pc then make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, it should be up to date within the last month or so is when the latest update came out. and if you're still in the habit of not restarting your computer frequently then also check for windows updates and restart the computer. if none of that helps and you're definitely within the recommended specs then might need to reinstall teh game because it shouldnt be lagging on the lowest possible settings if your device is within the recommended

it might be the ram honestly. thats not enough for an integrated gpu so i'd recommend running the game in windowed mode at like 1260x720 resolution or something like that

the general tab on the error is just "pc turned off unexpectedly at‎ 18:13:58, in 13/‎03/‎2024"
the critical error was "the system was turned off without first having been shut down properly. this error might've happened because the system stopped responding, ran into an error or ran out of power unexpectedly"

these are rough translations but i think they get the point across

in the critical one, the detail tab basically has everything in zeroes minus the lid state which was at one (by the name i suppose lid state is a laptop exclusive status)

i feel the warnings dont have much to do but i noticed i have a lot of kernel-eventtracing erros beforehand, maybe its related to hi3, maybe not, ill check in other instances if they show up too

well "kernelpower 41" is just a generic error, like the description says is just telling you that the PC turn off unexpectedly and nothing more, so could be many things
at least the times i saw that "error" when running a program/game, was some kind of hardware related issue, sadly that still count for the drivers of those parts...
try checking your drivers and make a clean install of them if you can, if not, could be that some part of your PC is starting to fail.
still, this is what I know from the times i saw the issue, but there may be other causes.

i mean, i don’t think it’s hardware faliure yet, the pc has less than a year thus far and hi3 isn’t the heaviest game i play there i think, apparently i am missing on a bit of gpu driver updates (like, maybe 1-2 weeks) but yeah, idk why it do be crashing, i can try to reproduce the issue again in like 5h or so (was on lunch break rn)

but being a gpu driver bug isn’t out of the table imo, cuz i have been running my laptop in dGPU only mode for a bit

but that was like since january and HI3 didn’t crash my pc back then

it could be that you card was affected with the drivers(?... in another discord im in, many nvidia users had issues with the drivers from the "end" of last month, the last one is working fine afaik.
but yeah you have to find what could be causing the issue, if you think it is the game directly causing the problem, just test and verify if the problem occurs in specific situations (such as with x graphics, using x valk/map/bridge, etc.). if you find something you can contact cs and see if they could know a solution

you can use extract anyway but remember to run a full repair before entering the game if you want, or just use the redownload option

You can just choose the "Extract Anyway!" option. Then go to the "Game Repair" menu and then perform a "Full Repair" there.
It should be much less effort than you need to re-download the entire thing all over again.

That wasn't a bug, you are meant to get them after the last part of the story (that released today),
so only after you played the last part of the chapter you still don't see the mechanism, then contact CS

ok, so the issue was reproduceable in HI3 New Lobby, pc updated in the mean time (an update from today/yesterday tho) so i can’t check in the EXACT same settings as before.

i don’t think it’s the temps even tho it’s at a constant 95C, that’s normal for a 13980HX (H, laptop) and mine do stay like that for plenty of time when i game (yes intel do go crazy, my fans are always blaring)

i have a armoury crate log with stats, pc was at it for 3 mins ON THE DOT before shutting down

i can
a) try to see if for 5mins in old lobby it goes down
b) update Graphics drivers and new lobby again to see if that fixes

i’m gonna do a) first, then b)

but gpu power is 100 watts higher in new lobby like W H A T

Today found that Stygian Alley's Cracked Goblet mechanism was fixed and available to do.
I'm using PC, when starting the 2nd part of the challenge it teleports us to a stage-map of Langqiu that is separated from the normal map itself.
When being moved to there PC started making louder sounds due to fans working harder, system working harder and heating faster.
Remained intense even after clearing the challenge and moving to other maps/game modes until restarted the game, if someone else going there or was there and remembers the experience on PC let me know.

I tried to click Account Retrieval and it responded with "System Busy" when I look at my hoyoverse account it linked the new account. Is there no other way of retrieving my old account?

hmm, cuz if you have played at all since july 2022 then you would have already linked your honkai account to a hoyoverse account so account retrieval wouldnt help since its only purpose is to link mihoyo accounts to hoyoverse accounts

you can yes. there are 2 scenarios that could be happening with your old account

1. its not linked to a hoyoverse so once you get the account retrieval thing working and remember your old login info and get it to show your old account you will just have to link it to a different hoyoverse account than the one in y our screenshot.

2. it is already linked to a hoyoverse account but a different one and if thats the case you'll just need to log into the game with the right account

You can try redownloading that cg for PC by going to your games installation folder and then games\bh3 data\streaming assets\video and then delete the biggest one in the 2.3 section. Or all of them and then restart your computer and the game should auto download the missing files. Might want to run a repair too by tapping the red repair icon at the login screen (if your on mobile just tap the repair button) though this doesn't always work so if it doesn't then contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs

Friends, I have a huge problem a few days ago, the screen of my Android device was damaged and the account was linked or I have it linked to Google Play. If it's a different cg then the file name would be different, 2.3 ones are for chapter 8. If the one you were having issues with is in chapter 8 then yeah delete them all but if it's a different chapter you'll need to delete some others. But if you did delete the right ones then contact cs yeah

What you can do is go to hoyolab.com on a computer, not phone, and then log in with your Google account (not email, but Google account). Then first double check the honkai battle chronicles for your main account and if you see it then (still on computer) go to account.hoyoverse.com and then log in with your Google account (not email but Google account) and in the account security settings on the left side you can set an email to use to login on Iphone or PC with. Please note that you'll game to use a different email than the one you tried before and got the new account with

So Luna what I did is created an hoyo verse Account but I think that I forget to link it to my Google account then I enter at the game. I think that was my mistake. Is there a way to fix that?

Yup it's fixable, you won't be able to link your Google okay6 account to the same hoyoverse account that uses that email address (you'll have to use a different one) but if you don't have other hoyoverse games you use with that email address then you can shuffle them around to make your Google Play hoyoverse account use the same email. But as of right now you have two hoyoverse accounts, one that uses Google to login and the other that uses email. Can't merge the two accounts unfortunately but you can switch around the login methods so one has a certain email etc.

But first do the previous stuff I mentioned to first get access to your main hi3 account

It will be easiest on PC but if you don't have one you can use phone, the main thing to remember in my first message to you that when I say login with your Google account im talking about the Google logo, not an email address. But other than that all you need is a second email address and you're good! You'll get your old hoyoverse linked to an email address and then you can use that to log into the game

If you use phone then just make sure also that you're going to the hoyolab website, not the app

ok so i see the issue, basically your laptop does not have enough ram. for laptops with an integrated graphics card like yours, 16GB is the minimum since a lot of that ram needs to be used for graphics ram (VRAM)

you can get away with running this game with 8GB of ram but only if your computer has a dedicated graphics card, with an integrated graphics like in a lot of laptops it needs more ram to compensate for that

Well I figured it out. Basically Turn your display resolution smaller after setting the game into a smaller resolution, then restart the game and select the resolution on fullscreen then switch your display back to the default one

Kinda boosts fps by a few numbers

And these are my specs, I used to play the game on Normal before the engine update, now I had to play the game on Performance and it's still laggy on Part 2 Lobby area

an update on my situation; it looks as if it was thermal throttling, i replaced Armoury Crate with GHelper and did a max wattage on cpu + a bit of an undervolt on GPU, now temps are at 80/70 (CPU/GPU)

tldr of my situation: armoury crate is cancer, i did a installation of an alternative and pc is handling idling in part two lobby fine

i think that before it was shutting down cuz gpu hit 80+ and cpu 90+ simultaneously, so it did that to protect system

so for anyone with a ROG laptop, i recommend GHelper over Armoury Crate, and tweak a bit the settings

cpu still rises a bit on the idle but it’s been here for nearly 7 minutes and no crash, before it crashed at 1/2mins so i think it’s safe to say it was thermals (but asus, really, couldn’t u lower performance for temps to drop like apple does in mobile devices? i get i don’t want to see a slideshow but i also i don’t want my pc to shut down

it could be a corrupted file, go to the game folder and delete the file "5.6_Rogue_CG_19..." ("Games/bh3_data/streamingassets/video")
then just in case run a "game repair" on the launcher, after that, when you launch the game its going to redownload the file, and check if work now
to replay the video you can do it on the ER Collection, Flame-chasers trials... and the last one

So believe it or not they sent me a copy of the .usm file on a google drive and that fixed it. seems impossible due to how many times i've reinstalled and so on but i guess either they have a super "good" version of the file or for some reason the .usm files are very very easy to corrupt. Idk but i guess the fix for if people have freezing cg's is to just send em to customer support where they'll get a replacement file that actually works lol

I have been encountering this problem since a long time ago, the screen freezes randomly and the game keeps running on the background (you can hear interactions etc.) It doesn't happen frequently but can be annoying sometimes. I tried updating/ fresh installing gpu driver and reinstalling the game. I have also the same problem with star rail but couldn't find an error log.
my specs are rtx 3070(laptop), 16 gb ram, i7-10870H

also I don't have an antivirus program besides windows defender

that probably wont work since its the same internet connect but you can try, the reason the connection issues pinned message suggests switching between mobile data and wifi is becuase its a different internet connection entirely

if you're not comfortable using a VPN then these types of issues usually go away on their own within 1 day to at most a week or two

a VPN is just a workaround to let you get in before your internet service provider fixes the issue on their end

other thing that could happen from time to time is that if the steam get disconnected for any reason, the account could be stuck on "offline mode", and any game that uses SteamID is not going to work until you restart the steam client

m52 has a slightly better camera, but its basically the same as the a54, or at least your mom likely wont notice the difference.

otherwise the specs are nearly the same performance wise as far as i can tell, the a54 is newer/will run better for a bit longer, especially for the lite usage your mom will use it for

the a54 has more modern features features like the display finger print reader. they also have the same battery. honestly they're nearly identical phones except the a54 is newer and has newer features in a few areas
