Due to the additional letter c in the version number, they are force updating the Honkai Impact 3/3rd applications on Captains' devices regardless of where the original application was installed from or whether you have used these app markets, leading to Captains' inability to update the application

Where do I change the location of the folders for Honkai?

I can’t just manually move them, then the game won’t know where the files are, and the times I tried to direct them to the files it didn’t work.

best way is to close the launcher, make a folder called like Honkai or something on your D drive and then move (i recommend copy) your games folder and nothing else to that honkai folder. then open the launcher and change the game location to D:\Honkai\Games (it needs to be the folder with the bh3.exe in it)

depending of the error could be that you are using the incorrect username (≠ nickname) , that the email have a blank space at the end, same for the password or even that you use a 3rd party login and still don't create a username
if you still have the game on the phone you can enter to the in game profile / account / user center and in there you will see a censored ver. of you account info

And on your profile you will see your linked games info

if you want to use the same HYV that you try before then you need to contact cs ( #how-to-contact-cs ) and ask for a unbind of the accidental account (you need to login to the game to get the UID of the accidental one)

then they will send you a form you need to fill and after that you need to wait

or you can just create a new HYV account and use that new one to link your old account

that is because your account is in the old system (miHoYo pass) and from JUN 2022 the game only use the new system (HoYoVerse pass) that they launch with genshin
the account retrieve option its just a way for a player to link their old account to the new system if they didn't do it in the year they give to link

thats only if you set rendering accuracy to max. the max preset is fine but rendering accuracy at max is VERY good but also VERY unoptimized since even if it was optimized only 4070's or better could handle the load so its not a priority since like less than .1% of their users have that good equipment and they're more focused on making it optimized on lower end systems so that users with potato stuff can still run the game. but yeah max preset is still fine with a 3070 unless you're trying to put it on 4k or something

its like the texture resolution and stuff. it does largely affect the game but at very high it is pretty unoptimized and unless you have a rtx 4090 it will suffer some serious lag and in general struggle

genshin is in general more graphically demanding than the older honkai stuff. but the new honkai stuff (apho2, ER, newer open world story maps) are more graphically demanding than genshin. but yes your GPU is below spec so thats why it lags in those parts

2 games can run at the same fps, but if one have a really bad frame pacing for any reason its going to look/feel bad

kinda the 2... old stages normally are not affected too much but for example the new characters can make them fell worse if you use them on that stages on low end devices

they add new content with bigger and better effects and improve upon the existing content with better shaders/renderers/etc to the general engine. like 6 years ago the game looked horrendous compared to the exact same stages today

but yes, new character on older stage will graphically struggle more than old character on old stage

for the clockspeed they limit the clockspeed to be lower than the higher line-up to make the Single core performance is worse then the higher products (for example Core i5-13600K and Core i7-13700K), but they have the same chips
