still, unless you changed the default install location and forgot about it then the default install location is c:\program files\honkai impact and so if you deleted everything manually and cleared the recycle bin then its all gone. but as long as its all fixed now

yeah, your drivers are really out of date tho. open your nvidia geforce experience (or install it if you dont have it) to update your drivers but otherwise your card should run the game at around mid settings on average

then all you have to is either go to the folder named "honkai impact 3rd glb" or something , or find the folder that has bh3.exe

another thing you could try is at the elevator login screen, press the red repair assets icon to check for broken assets

I'm insecure about having only Twitter linked to my login method in Honkai but I also have my gmail linked to another honkai profile which I don't use at all. So if I suggest to delete the second mentioned account, can I link my gmail to the same account which is currently linked with Twitter?
yes if your other account is deleted you can use gmail, though you cant delete the account yourself, what i'd recommend as a faster solution is to go to account.hoyoverse.com and log in with your gmail (so the unwanted account) and then go to account security settings and change the linked email to some random other email you dont care about. and now that your gmail isn't linked to that account you can log out and log in with the twitter one and then go to account security settings to link your gmail to it
if you want to delete that gmail account entirely though then you can either contact customer support, or click the account delete button and wait 30 days for it to go through

thats weird, but you said gmail earlier, is it the google account or your gmail email address that is linked? if its the email address then you need to sign in with the email address
but if its the google account you can always try going to the site on a phone to do the stuff

no there wont be any issues, all this screen is for is linking different login methods. your honkai account is bound to that hoyoverse account and nothing you do with this screen will change that. only customer service can unbind accounts
Though while you're there I'd highly recommend setting a username and password and WRITING it down. That can't be changed or unlinked so if you ever have any login issues ever you can still always use the username and password to get in

there hasnt been any official announcement yet other than the last one saying that they would ship late january and that shipping would take 1-3 months. no ones gotten a tracking number to my knowledge but you can always email customer service about it and explain your issue and why you need a tracking number #how-to-contact-cs
epic games version uses the older global launcher (main launchers got updated in 6.3, so very recently) but it'll still run the game just fine anyways since its identical to the global version of the game, it just has a modified launcher to also load the epic store SDK so you can use the epic store for top up
probably need more time to update the launcher but epics always had a different launcher version iirc

you could also try using a VPN to fix any connection issues it might have had but usually that message means a bug on the servers side of things that customer support can quickly fix

that message is for a half dozen things, all of which are caused by server bugs. it happens for about 4 different things off the top of my head. its the general message when a feature (in this case logging in) is not working so the error message just calls it maintainence

So when I try to access this story chapter it literally doesn't display the stages at all
Try this first
- Tap on the Ai-phone on the bottom-right corner of the game interface, swipe left, tap on Download, and download resources (if applicable).
- Restart the game, tap on the red tools button on left on the login screen, and tap on check resources.
- Broken assets found or not, restart your device and check again.

im just not entirely sure what the error message is talking about, data error is not enough information so a screenshot will help

i guess you can always tap the red repair icon in the lower left corner of the elevator login screen (at the tap to login part) to check for broken assets.
you can also try repairing game files from the launcher

tbh im about to go to bed, if nothing else you can uninstall the game via the uninstaller, then clear the cache to make sure absolutely nothings left, then download fresh copy of launcher and reinstall. and if that doesnt work you can always email customer support, it is their job to help after all

You can swap the email / phone number but you can't swap/pass game data to another acc

because this form is an account recovery form, they dont have one specifically for account deletion
this form technically is just to prove that you're the genuine owner of the account really but its most used for account recovery
yes, for every question on this form referencing a honkai account you need to put the one you are deleted, dont mention any other account including your main one, everything should be about the account you want deleted cuz they're going to take what you answer on this form and compare it to the honkai account in question (the one being deleted) and it needs to match
that means that you either logged into the wrong hoyoverse account, or the wrong server, or both. if you know your UID you can email customer service and give them your UID and they'll tell you what hoyoverse the honkai account is on
wabout the question asking if the hoyoverse pass is linked to other games, in which my genshin account is

no it wont, nothing is gone, you just logged into a different region so it started a new account but a hoyoverse account can have up to like 3 honkai accounts on it, one per server. so if you log into the SEA server you'll be in your regular account (assuming you use the same hoyoverse account)
that question is differernt because its specifically asking what other games your hoyoverse has linked, so answer that question lol
just dont confuse them with giving a mix of different honkai account info

i have stable internet connection though...
just cuz your internet is stable doesnt mean that your connection to honkai servers is. your connection goes through about a dozen different data centers and companies before getting to honkai's servers and somewhere along that route theres a break in the connection. using a VPN bypasses the isssue. if you dont have a VPN then protonVPN is fast and free
so i download vpn or protonvpn?

Connection problem, idk if is just ISP problem or that the servers for SEA have problems again...
thats all connection issue related, since you've already tried a VPN it might be your own iSP or the sea servers, maybe try a different wifi or mobile data if you can

An ISP can have different routing from one day to another, so if that is causing the problem the only way to fast check is trying another network or vpn

np! but yeah as a general rule, its pretty much impossible to delete a honkai account. literally no way to do it unless you basically beg customer service to do it but theres no possible way for a player to do it
you can even delete a hoyoverse account the honkai is on but it wont delete the actual honkai account

but you can access just by playing the ver. with the same server where you account is (in GLB you can select the server)
at the login screen you can change your server to europe by clicking it in the upper right
and log in on EU server and you'll be in your old account

Umm I have a bug or something with keypress , I have set most of my keys to Num pad and It has worked fine since the beginning but now when I use Num 4 as attack it just uses dodge instead , Which I have set to Num 6 also I cant use Num 7 to switch to QTE 1 it but Num 9 works for QTE 2

well all i can say is that its not a honkai issue, maybe try pulling up the keys and cleaning it if its a mechanical keyboard
maybe check for windows updates and apply any that are needed, if your keyboard has drivers then go ahead and see if those are up to date

Yo uh, My friend is trying to retrieve an account with an expired email, and she's filled the form that you needed to do it, like she answered whens her first and last log in and where, and she even sent screenshots of her pulls. What can she do to get it back?
only way is to do like they say and redo the form but be more accurate. it was rejected because they matched the answers she gave to what the account history says and it was not close enough to prove that they're the genuine owner of the account. so they need to try again and be more accurate, like for the location put the city as well, that kind of stuff
but if they're at the point of needing to do account recovery via customer support, there isnt another way of getting into their account unless they remember their old login info (or if it was hacked then no there isnt any other way)

the green check mark just means that the HOYOVERSE account has that appleID account linked to it, nothing else. honkai accounts and hoyoverse accounts are two separate things entirely. honkai accounts used to be on the old mihoyo account system (before hoyoverse accounts existed) and you used to use your appleID to sign into your old mihoyo account system which had your honkai account linked to it.
your honkai account is not linked to your new hoyoverse account that uses your appleID, the honkai account is either linked to a different hoyoverse account, or not a hoyoverse account at all

you can try account retreival first to see if you can link it to a newly created hoyoverse account (cant use your appleID hoyoverse account since it already has an accident honkai account on it) and if it doenst work then my guide explains what the problem is depending on the error message you got and what to do for it.

Hi! Just wanted to share what solved my problem for the game crashing and the crash log says "d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation". My GTX 1070 drivers are up to date when I was experiencing these crashes.
The game crashes for me during cutscenes/battles in story with alot of effects ||(CH33 Bronya HoTR transformation, CH34 Mei vs Raven Phase 2 transition)|| and sometimes during PE Ult animation.
Found out that my anti-virus is preventing the game from accessing data for d3d11.dll (or the accessing the dll itself, not 100% sure). Added the game folder to the exceptions for scanning & Real-time protection of my anti-virus (norton) and the game doesn't crash anymore.
I think this might help those who search d3d11.dll here for fixes, so I posted what worked for me.

the cg's are at a fixed quality, some of the older ones are optimized for mobile device screens and show kinda pixellated for larger pc screens

Is it possible to unlink twitter/email/facebook between Hoyolab and Honkai BUT can use use one of these acc to play Genshin with the same acc
all that stuff is linked to the hoyoverse account to begin with, not the honkai and genshin account so assuming both are on the same hoyoverse account its not possible to have twitter for instance as a login for genshin but NOT honkai since they both use the same hoyoverse account to log in
if your genshin is on a different hoyoverse account then yes its possible. just have to go to account.hoyoverse.com to unlink the login method from one hoyoverse account and link it to the other

just to clarify, on your EU account you got the same 7 day login bonus screen but when you clicked claim it never claimed? or did the login bonus screen never show up?
if it never showed up at all then thats because the account was technically created too long ago and that beginner reward already expired. If it showed up and you claimed it but the character didnt show up, then double check your materials and stuff for a character box/card or something and then you can always try customer support #how-to-contact-cs

all right, it worked, had to reboot PC, and no reinstall, but is working now

@clear sparrow if you want to retrieve and account created before mid 2022 and that was created using Google account then yeah you need to use an Android emulator (or install the game in a phone), but after you link you old account to a HYV one you can start using any other ver. without problems

wouldnt change your ability to do that no. but if you are changing to android you'll need to setup a different login than appleID to login since android wont have that option at the login screen
but you can still use credit card to top up no problem
or google pay. wont be able to use apple pay if you were doing that before

only customer service can unlink a honkai account. you'll need to email them with the UID of the honkai account you want to unlink and explain why you would like it to be unlinked

not possible really, you can change the login method for a hoyoverse account but you cant change the linked honkai account. even if you changed the login method that would just make you unable to use that login method for your genshin account so you'll have to get used to 2 logins, one for your main and one for your backup honkai account

if the size increase is 1.5Gb in total then yes the android system would reserve about 3-5GB of space to update it. though for all i know the next version is only 500MB and it would only need 1GB to update

sort of? it has controller support on the pc but it uses the generic xinput drivers for windows so sometimes the proprietary controllers (like switch pro, dual shock, etc) dont want to connect. so it should but if there are issues try this stuff #štechnical-help message

if the controller is a official one (XboxO and XboxX/S), it should work right away in win 10/11 because the drivers come with the OS and the game have xinput support
but they can present problems if you connect them via bluetooth with an adapter that is not 4.0 or higher, if you use a bad USB cable, and even in some cases the controller firmware can cause problems if you don't update it
yahallo, just wanna ask if the "Reunion" cutscene got some audio issues for low-end device(or in general)?? The other cutscenes before it was working pretty fine, just that cutscene somehow. I tried reinstalling the game too
if you device is below the min specs yeah its going to present problems, the cg is in a higher quality compared to the old ones in-game

okay first check your email/twitter/face/etc... and close any unknown login + change your password
after that contact cs (#how-to-contact-cs) and tell them that your account was hack (you need to put your honkai UID)
after some emails they will send you a form you need to fill out with your info, to verify that you are the owner of the account
they are the only ones who can help you, so you must be patient, the process can take days

For how many months? Remember that before mid 2022 the game use the old login, and now only use HYV accounts

Then check that you email/password doesn't have a blank space in the end (if you copy-paste its most likely to happen)
And you can also try using your username of the HYV account to login instead of the email (not the nickname of the game)

You're already linked and can login with HoYoverse, don't need Account Retrieval
If you don't know what your login info is, contact CS at that email in your screenshot and provide your account info (you can screenshot the account info from account retrieval)

The account retrieval button shows up when you click sign out so you can see the hoyoverse login. If you've already signed in with someone it'll just say what you've signed in as and a tap to login. Yeah, or you can try extracting it to it's own folder like in your downloads folder and then copying it over. I think that might work too. You're basically just replacing the files in your video folder with the same named ones you downloaded.

also check the method you use to login, if you used the 3rd party option to create the account you need to use it if you want to login (for example using google account does not mean you can use gmail directly in hyv, you need to use google login option to enter).

you can try customer support #how-to-contact-cs but they usually dont do refunds, there is a confirmation window and all that when you spend crystals and so they dont really refund stuff otherwise people would be constantly asking for refunds cuz they "accidentally" did a bad 10 pull and stuff if that makes sense
should be in the settings, try restarting the game and if that doesnt work then go to regedit and in regedit go to this key: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3rd\GENERAL_DATA_V2_ScreenSettingData_h1916288658 and manually set the resolution while keeping it fullscreen

cuz i know for a fact that as long as you've modified a single graphical thing from the default that that regedit key should be there, its supposed to be there regardless but sometiems it doesnt show up till you've saved some change like idk, putting it in 1920x1080 window mode and then closing the game
first check that you have the ultrawide option enable (idk exactly where it is, but you can seach on the in-game setting),
and i remember that some users need to delete some keys (Screenmanager...) from regedit because sometimes that is forcing the "default resolution" because of a bug, probably that is happening to your game

So Iām a returning player who wants to get back into the game for the upcoming battlesuits, but Iām struggling to retrieve my account. I canāt seem to figure out where to contact customer service, and I donāt like to resort to email.
Iāve been told that I have my account linked to another hoyo account even though I am only familiar with the one that I know. I do have some screenshots, but I donāt know if itās fine to put those up here or wait for someone to give me a hand in finding this missing account.

Keep in mind too that if you do end up needing to contact customer service you'll have to do it via email. They don't have a phone number

Mobile probably only 1-2 gb/update, that's why it doesn't have and need pre update
While pc have to redownload entire game + additional resources in game
I remember when mobile didn't have those small updates
I have a question. I use my controller to play on PC. When I use the wire, it work very well. But today I connected the controller through BT and tried to play but the game doesn't recognize the Controller even though it's connected to the PC
hm..sometimes games/programs have issues recognizing input if it's not direct wire..
If there's a driver/app that connects the controller to the PC, try restarting it in administrator mode(if you can) and see if it helps...that's about all that comes to mind....
