I mean, subjectivity is well, subjective theres plenty of people that think hi3 is boring too and others that love both. But disregarding subjectivity its in the same universe, with a shared cast and in the future timeline wise from hi3 so i think that kinda fits all the definitions of a sequel.

But no there hasnt been any announced sequel (at least what you're thinking of) for hi3, we're still in part 2's story and stuff.

You might be thinking of the honkai nexus anima which seems to be kind of like a pokemon-ish game with characters from both hi3 and hsr in it it looks like. for right now though HSR is the closest in definition to a sequel and no recently announced hi4 or anything like that.

it wont EoS anytime soon, theres no indicators of that happening. It doesnt make as much money as it did when it was in a non gacha saturated market and part 1's story hadnt ended, but you still have plenty of time to play and catch up. Like i said earlier part 2's story is still in full swing and we havent even finished APHO's storyline yet either so theres plenty of content to go through even if they dont add another big part 3 or anything like that

True. I played H3 when it was the latest thing. Then later I played a bit more.

After playing all big gacha it is the only one I feel had some sort of legit soul to it. Less mainstream made it more « free » in its expression I think. I want to go back to it. I think it is worth for a couple of reasons but especially for Pardofelis saying « 行こうよ Can-Chan ! » ☺️

I liked the master trainee system in it. It think it is a relevant system. We saw it repeated in Where Winds Meet.

It’s funny, when Infinity Nikki came out I was playing ZZZ and IN was the possible off gacha on the side I was thinking of playing. A good balance of action in ZZZ and wholesomeness in IN. It became too stupidly greedy but I get it.

you just get a LOT of freebies, craftable pieces, and outfit shops that just take coin in game, totally outside of the gacha system. and every 5* banner comes with a 4* and if you get every piece of the 5* you are getting a total of about 18 pieces. and each patch has a mid patch 4*. I can pull an average of one 5 star every 1.5 patches because i also 100% all of the events and stuff.

but for example for the patch that just released earlier this week i got the full 5 star and its 4 star. But outside of that due to finding some new outfits in the wild, a new ability outfit (every single collectathon ability like gliding, attacking, grapple hook, etc comes with its own entirely free outfit) and some other stuff i've probably gotten 30 new outfit pieces in the last week.

when i say pieces im not talking full outfit. a piece could be a bracelet, an earring, a handbag or a shoe for example

and when you gacha pull you dont get the full outfit or nothing, you get pieces of a new outfit and for example the 4 star outfits have a gauranteed drop rate of one every 10 pulls, and a 5 star has a pity rate of 1 every 20 pulls, but every pull is some outfit piece, most of them are a permanent 3 star supply that i've already gotten probably hundreds of duplicates by now but you never gacha materials or anything like that

so some 5 star outfits for example, i only really want like one piece of it like dragon horns for example, so i can set that as my desired piece pity guarantee for that banner (you pick one piece every banner) and after 5 drops you get that piece, so even if its a 5 star and i only want one piece of it, i can guarantee that, do at most 100 pulls and get the piece i want, along with 4 others and the full 4 star outfit that comes with it so over time you end up with a lot of pieces
