Hi3 is pretty good on phones actually, but that makes sense the game was mobile only for the first few years xD is always been a big part of the playerbase

Then again, the early game is a lot influenced by 2016 mobile only gacha, it was really ahead of its time back then but had some design philosophies around that genre

those are a limited time currency, when the event ends you can only get them with crystals on the shop.
apart that is not recommended to use crystals on those, there is a time limit before the shop ends (most of the time is for just a week after the new ver. releases)

the event already ended, after that, there is a time where you can use/buy the event currency to get the rewards before they leave (you said is going to be exchanged next morning, so that is when the store will leave)
part of the event will still be available to play via voyage anecdotes but without a way to get the limited time rewards/currency

Kinda depends on how much you've completed but since I'm all caught up I wake up and do my armada commissions, my dorm expeditions and tasks and spend my lite on MA then go to the dailies tab to go do my daily material expeditions and claim 2 open world tasks (Sundays I do 3) and when those fill up I spend my lite tickets on them. With the lite tickets it usually only takes about 5-10 minutes and then twice a week when I have more time I do abyss and armada sim battle, and once a week I finish up MA and ER and the weekly quiz\realms of battle I usually just spend my lite tickets on on Monday from the dailies (BP missions) tab

Events and story I just kind of do whenever I have the time and if there's an event daily I do those as well every day
