It was a nice weekend, weather was getting springy and warmer, no freezing... I live in Northern Europe, Finland, city of Jyväskylä. Not too north then. Helsinki is about 300 km south from here which.

Anyway I was all for Spring starting, then today on Monday I woke up and everything is covered in pure white snow. Trees, walkways, lake, etc. Okay my nearby lakes are frozen anyway late until Spring.

But Sun-Mon night it snowed a lot all night. Streets are all snowy. Well they try to use tractors or whatever they use to plow the snow away from car roads and walkways, but its quite a lot of work.

It kept snowing until evening. I went to a grocery store recently, and I walked outside and was still snowing a lot. I took a bus. Was maybe little over 1,2 km walk. Eh.

It was not too cold, maybe -2 Celsius in the night and morning. Then midday when i woke up and saw it was snowing, it was perhaps zero (freezing), and maybe -1 or +1 or something like that.

Slightly rainy snow is annoying. Which we had at evening when i went to a store. Bought some Pepsi Max and took a bus home.

Not the greatest Mar10 due to bad weather. Anyway I felt this text fits here, since Deep North is coming. Oh and people talk about the weather in their country and complain if its +10 C. And Valheim nights arent really cold. And mountain isn't annoyingly cold.

Uh people talk about walking outside where is +15. Sigh. I can't wait for real spring and summer to start :). Maybe this rant helps.

You did? Hey thanks. I am actually feeling flattered about that. Glad you like it. Figured nobody would be interested. It has some kind of text in it, quite a bit actually, and written spontaneously by one person about his experiences waking up, then another story later, going out to snowy rain to buy common groceries and some sugar free cola drinks. The story doesn't really say much, or have a deep meaning, although paradoxically, the story doesn't leave much unsaid, so the says quite a bit. Sot it says very little and very much at the same time. Maybe that is some deep meaning?

Special thanks to those who read it entirely. It is quite long. I am glad if you liked it, or got inspiration or felt something like that. Was fun to do, write about experiences and thought and see some connection to Valheim at least. And on so small things like waking up and buying groceries.

depending on your budget, it's most likely doable now. There's a lot of techniques for getting data off of hard drives, from replacing the controller boards, to opening the drives in clean rooms and replacing the heads or moving the platters to known good drives, to actually using sophisticated hardware to read bits off the platters without the on-board hardware at all. Just a matter of how much money you are willing to pay someone to do it.

Replacing a control board is fairly cheap I'd imagine. The other solutions, less so

I made a portal inside a block of marble on a random beach and they are destroying it. I died near my portal and i think if i try too often they will end up destroying my portal and kill me with my second armor

There was askvin and a morgen who almost destroyed my base. I managed to kill them but their is still plenty of charred warriors and voltures.. my portal is very exposed and i would like to rebuild around it but it just doesnt stop coming

Spawners are only responsible for 3-5 enemies at a time, and they're always charred. Even then, they can spawn without a spawner. If you're looking to spawn proof an area in the ashlands, you'll want to build stone shelters for workbenches/campfires. It is possible to find areas with less spawns than usual though, I usually look for peninsulas that have only one way in, and build stone shelters all along it.

Maybe it's my seed, but the coastlines usually have some empty spaces, going stealth on a rock in such a space for a moment usually clears up anything following me as well.

Bring some extra ||finewood because if they manage to break the portal the wood can easily burn and turn to coal while you run around, and you can't get finewood in Ashlands easily|| <- just something that happened to me once 🥲
