It's not exactly a sundae but, when I visited Scotland, I had what they called an ice-cream sandwich. But, the 'bread' of the sandwich was a pair of two wafers that were filled with marshmallow and then coated in chocolate. The ice-cream was two scoops of whatever flavour you wanted. Boars need to be at least 800m from the centre of the world to spawn with stars, unless spawned at the boar runestone or an abandoned farm

Always best to tame and breed your 2 star in place. And only move the offspring.

Jade weapons are great for big enemies
Lightning gems are great for lots of enemies
Blood gems are practically the bread and butter of everything cause so many items use these it is NOT funny

I would still recommend making at least one jade weapon - like a spear or set of zerker axes

Jade weapons immobilise enemies - even bosses, making it so they can’t attack you directly or turn around.

Very nice for popping a quick smack down on big mobs without fear of retaliation

Like @rotund pewter said, Jade effect is great too. One of my absolute favorite weapons is Klossen, Jade infused Flametal Mace. It's great for dealing damage, keeping multiple enemies away from you (especially Warriors) and if the immobilize effect triggers you can move behind target, switch to Axes and keep hitting until target is dead.

Combination of Jade and Thunder is really well working pair, Klossen and Thundering Berserkir Axes is one of the best melee weapon combination IMO. For bigger targets Klossen and Primal Axes is also great to keep the target immobilized longer.

I prefer mixing Jade and thunder gems with fast weapons so I can spam attacks and get a higher chance of activating the immobilised debuff

Then maybe use a blood weapon to slap some extra damage

Or if I’m fighting a boss and several mobs I’d use a thunder weapon 🥰

There is no way the blood weapons do more damage than lightning ones unless you are constantly very low on hp which doesn't sound like a good idea

Depends how much hp you start with

If you look at lighting weapons and add the 10 damage from lighting + the 25% chance of the chain lighting that's an additional 20% damage on average. To get that same 20% more damage with the blood weapons you need to constantly be down 100 hp

It also get a lot worst if you take into consideration that the chain lighting will most likely jump to other enemies

As a back up damage

Or be a full meat low hp bow user

And shot everything with a blood bow lol

Lastly, they can work best with bonemass yolo maxing 20hp full dodge

With blood magic at best the blood weapon will be on par with the thundering one for the first hit until you heal since you can't have very high hp if you have eitr. Having to constantly be under half hp with only hp food to be on par with thundering also seem insane to me. I don't even get how you can achieve it, do you need to actively try to get hit by as many things as you can to overcome the 20 healing per tick and never parry anything?

@lean fable Many people seem to have that issue, from what I understood it's because you got the location before the update and the update changed the locations around. If you find another vegvisir or the same one after the update it should give you a new location

I just do a boxed in area with the basic palisade wall and stick a portal in it. As long as you do it in a level area or on top of a hill where mobs can't look in, you should be good.
I've never once been bothered even by the nearby lox herd since establishing this playthrough's plains farm

I think we can agree that the set of whole numbers is infinite, because there is no end to it. But likewise, the set of all numbers period is infinite, yet it contains the set of all whole numbers. So the vastness of that infinity is, in a sense, greater.

I got lucky on my current playthrough, I didn't have to go out of my way to find the 3 merchants. I had a bigger problem finding my first swamp. Sailed loads of places unable to find swamps, and I found the first 2 merchants before my first swamp. First swamp revealed location of the boss, and bog witch happened to be on the same landmass. So it was a rare case of having all 3 before beating bonemass

Rather than making backups, I'll make sure everything is fully upgraded. So fully upgraded wolf armor is my backup if I die in padded. Dying gives you the advantage of knowing exactly what you have to deal with on the next trip so even with weaker armor, its usually not too difficult to recover gear - just make sure I play intelligent and keep my cool

Example is like dying in the mistlands. Enemies hit hard but the combination of bonemass buff and fire resist barley makes the biome kinda like playing on easy mode for 5 minutes even in wolf armor (though you still have to respect starred seekers a little bit).

I do attempt a few naked corpse runs too, but sometimes that's not feasible - if you get knocked down a hole and surrounded by insects in an infested mine for instance...

My… from when is it published? I never got any clue about its existence, thinking we had only the runestones and the game content to imagine what is going on

Well.. its exactly the runestones that talk about draugrs for example.

"Long ages ago, the world of Valheim was home to a race of proud and noble people. They built great towers that touched the clouds and delved deep into the earth for precious metals. But their pride was their undoing. They challenged the very gods and went to war against the Aesir and the Vanir, destroying themselves completely. Great Odin levelled their cities and Loki consumed their mines in fire. Mighty Thor broke down their towers and Freya sowed their fields with salt tears.
Now they are sunk many hundreds of years deep. No songs sing of their stories, and the earth has claimed their cities. But pride cannot be killed entirely and the warriors who fought in that final battle will not surrender until their bodies are dust and the dust long gone. They return as Draugr, unholy walkers in ancient armour, creatures of rust and despair.

Last year I launched an event in the Valheim-discord (native language server) where I am a member, all participants imagined a bit of lore, no one were aware of an official lore

It is said they “return as Draugr”

So, we are still able to imagine
