What happens to the overworld simulation when you enter a dungeon? From personal experience, mobs are not in the same spot when you come out. But online you'll see it claimed that the simulation stops. It seems to me the simulation continues for at least a little bit.

dungeon interiors are actually in the overworld, just waaaay up in the sky above yggdrasil, invisible from that distance.
(since simulation distance is purely horizontal) when entering, the area around the dungeon remains loaded in as if you were standing at the entrance.

I came with a question, where my friend on a fresh install of valheim, with exactly same mod profile as mine according to r2modman, starts the game, everything seems normal, but when he tries to join server, he is stuck in loading screen, yet he is on player list on server. When he generates new world on singleplayer, almost everything is empty, no trees, no locations, just land with grass. I've been playing and modding valheim for a long time, yet I have never encountered such issue. Does anyone have any idea ? There are no errors, console drops no errors as he claimed

You’ve just gotta hunt, it’s great fun early game. You can use a flint spear or some really good players sneak up with a knife. The wind direction counts so if you are downwind of them and sneaking they won’t detect you. Obvs bow is the main way once you can make that

Few days ago i asked about me and my friends on bonemass killing.

But, i've come to something even worse.. We use a mod called Epic Loot just to spice up the game, 4 out of 5 people use it as intended meanwhile the 5'th goes to his server and spawns Mythical items, orange color.. items i've never ever seen in my playthrough and im the one with most hours on this game out of all 5 of us.

Is there some way that i can check his inventory or such? I tried to download a inventory scout thingy from nexus mods but it seems like the '' cheater '' needs to have it aswell so i can't use it as i wanted...

All you can do then is message them, and give them clear terms "These are the rules you agreed with. Just be sure to be clear about what is expected of them and what the consequences will be.

If you want to run a server, run it. Don't be a people pleaser. Set the expectation and enforce it. Some people will leave, some will get kicked, but in the end you'll have a group that is on the same page as you and worth playing with.

While I agree, some people don't and that will cause issues. For myself, and people who understand how this works, it might even ruin the game for people who do this. I have had it happen where someone brought in powerful items into a server and then because they felt so OP they decreased their own playtime in the server by 95%, people can be a bit silly and ruin their own fun sometime. Also you do have a right to the conversation, don't be so harsh on yourself 🙂
