Yes, you can make your own build and you should be able to get through the campaign and maybe into early end game. Especially if you have ARPG experience. I made up my own build on my first campaign play through. If you start to struggle, then you may want to look up build guides. As far as is it better, well that's up to you. If you enjoy that more, then it's probably better for you.

Trying to farm these gloves. I'm running prophecies as well as hitting any unique or set echoes. Is there anything else I can be doing to improve the odds. I've had a ton of gloves drop but no sign of the ones I want. They are not being hidden by filters and I'm level 96. I'm running in the Ending the Storm timeline as it suggests. You can seal the prefix with a glyph - it's not guaranteed to work. If it is a level 3 prefix you would not do that. Best change is with a level 1 or 2 stat. Be aware that also using forging potential, so you could seal it and have 2 empty prefix slots and then run out of forging potential before you get to craft the prefix values you want. The glyph is Glyph of Despair

So you could remove the prefixes, then use a Rune of Creation to make a copy, then try getting the prefix values you want. This assumes you have Runes of Creation. They seem hard t ocome by this season (at least for me).

Skill shards are the "+X to skill" ones. Class specific shards include all the skill shards, plus the other class-specific shards for helm/body like "+X% chance to apply damned on hit" or "+X mana when you use vengeance and hit".
I usually prefer class specific shards for that blessing, but it doesn't matter very much at all, the shards drop very rarely either way.

there isn't a cooldown. but you can use the conquered tower woven echo to fight them one after the other. you can use the weaver tree to make them more common in echoes, and you can guarantee that a possessed one in tombs and cemeteries. you can increase the likelyhood of those appearing in echoes in the weaver tree too, as well as socket Cemetery Of Reweaving in the weaver tree to make them appear more often in the echo web

if you have good leveling uniques with LP, u can slam with them with some good stats which help a ton

also once you get to chapter 5 and reach level 30-35, u can go directly to monliths and level really fast there

once u hit 60-65, u can do temporal sanctum and skip directly to chapter 9 to get the remaining passive points and idol slots

yes 1h mace and 1h mace.... with forging it depends on what you do...like rune of removal removes 1 random affix and that could be the exalt tier 6/7 affix...if you just upgrade your normal affix or chance it with glyph of chaos your exalt affix will not change of course ^^

Filter by Idol type. It unfortunately means you need to make a filter line for each Weaver idol type, but you can exclude the regular idols that way.

Focusing Lens of Time Lens makes it so you only get Prophecies with Timeline locations, so no Arena boss, Dungeon boss, or Campaign Locations. Obscuring Lens of Time does the opposite, no Timeline boss. If you combine them both you just get Prophecies with generic things like any boss, Siege Golem, Diamond Matron, etc. At higher rank you can also get Lenses that give double rewards and/or double uses.

For the Weaver tree, it's inexpensive to respec at just 20 Memory Amber a point, so feel free and experiment and take things you enjoy. I started with some of the "more" passives near the middle, then got the Imprints as they're very good, Loot Lizards because I think they're fun, and some stuff for larger pack sizes, extra dungeon keys, and Champions. I also took the node where a random Shade of Orobyss can jump you in maps, also because I think it's fun. But there's lots of other stuff in there as well, such as things for Weaver's Will, Nemesis, Exiled Mages, etc etc

With at least [1-2] of these affix on the same item. Using 2 will be more strict.
Condition: Item Type. Type: Small Idol.

Then duplicate this line and edit for each Weaver idol type you want to filter specifically for.

On subsequent characters in the same game mode / shared stash, there will be NPCs in Keeper's Camp in Chapter 1 that allow you join an item Faction at a very low level.

Are there loot filters that simply hide items irrelevant to your class? No recolouring etc. of loot labels. I think I got spoiled by Grim Dawn's Loot Filter that you can configure in-game as you can just set it to say, hide all 2H weapons or Base Type that favours melee for an example.

For Path of Exile I use the Loot Filter that's included with the game to cut down on clutter.

Imprinting it with the sub type of body armor with the affixes you already want on it would be the best option, as it's increased chance for those. But you could also Imprint something else as it doesn't always give the same and keep trying to creep up on the ones you want, like you mentioned.

Run Empowered Timelines if you can handle it. The increased item rarity and increase experience from the Corruption plus echo modifiers will be higher than regular Timelines. Regular also has a 50 cap on Corruption, while Empowered is base 100 Corruption with no cap. If you're struggling with Empowered, then sure, stay in regular a bit longer.

The formula for stun is in the in game guide or also listed on this page https://www.lastepochtools.com/guide/section/stun Basically larger hits are more likely to stun, so if the Crit was for a lot of damage, yeah it would have more stun chance. Also, you can eliminate or greatly reduce Crit damage by getting either Critical Strike Avoidance to 100% or Reduced Bonus Damage Taken from Critical Strikes to a high value. One or the other, you don't need both.

If you have enough Corruption, yes. When you go to start the Timeline boss fight quest in the upper left of the echo web, you'll see at the bottom the Harbinger Crest. If it's greyed out, then you don't have enough Corruption for the Harbinger to show up. If you do have enough Corruption, you can also optionally uncheck the Harbinger Crest there if you wanted to skip the Harbinger fight and just do the Timeline boss fight.

If you don't enjoy starting over each Season, you can play in Legacy game mode. In Season 1, they introduced a new boss, Aberroth, and had it so that the boss unlocked in Legacy after it was defeated once in Season. That happened in less than a week. For Season 2, there was no time gated content.

You can respec your Skills at any time for free, you'll just have to re-level them a bit. Passive points can be respecced at any town with the brain icon NPC for regular gold. Mastery and all passives can be respecced in End of Time town with the NPC down at the bottom also for regular gold.

Your situation seems unusual to me, but what do I know. I haven't heard the feedback often that CoF doesn't get enough gold, aside from Lightless Arbor spam that MG can get away with.

No, there currently isn't an option for that. But for items that end up with an undesirable Legendary affix, don't immediately throw it away. The Gauntlet of Strife woven echo needs sacrificial copies of the same item to reroll every value within their ranges on Unique/Legendary items, including implicits and Legendary affixes. Just the values, it doesn't change an affix to a different affix. Each reroll requires a sacrificial copy of the same item with equal or higher Legendary affixes or LP and for WW items the WW number + affix tier.

Yes, there are Runes of Shattering. Early game though, you won't have very many of those and at 3k each from the vendors, you won't have a lot of gold to purchase them. Later game you'll use them more frequently.

There's 3 options:

1. Banish - Nemesis is gone, no fight. Next time will be new stuff. Generally you don't use this unless you just don't want to fight it.
2. Challenge - fight Nemesis and you get the listed items. Next time will be new stuff.
3. Empower - fight Nemesis and the listed items are maybe improved, but don't drop yet. Same stuff next time, but maybe improved! You can Empower twice.

• If you want the items upgraded, you pick Empower up to two times. Then Challenge so you get them all and they've been improved.
• If you don't want to those items you can immediately Challenge to fight and have him drop them so next time will be different. Or Banish if you don't want to fight.
• Finally, Nemesis Egg! If you see a Nemesis Egg you can put your own unique item in and Empower it. The item will be in the Egg until you Challenge the Nemesis to get it back, up to two Empowers.

Well, this took entirely too long. But loading the patch notes into a text reader only mode that strips out the pictures and video clips, then copy and pasting it into a google doc, it ended up at 98 pages. Looks like most of it is 11 point font, but there's some section headers that are larger. There's probably some formatting oddities as well. That's for the entire thing. The section with just the Woven additions is much smaller, as you mentioned.

Really tanky is probably Judgement Paladin. For summons maybe Storm Crow Beastmaster. You could also check with #🐺┃primalist - Beastmaster minions / Shaman totems or #💀┃acolyte- Necromancer minions or #🔱┃sentinel - Forge Guard minions. Rogue has some summons as well, but isn't probably considered as tanky as the others. Mage just really has Bees.

Hey all, looking for some advice on build making. I really enjoy making my own builds but I've had a few flop just because they dont scale well into the end game. Most recently i was playing a falconer with bleed that i was intending to pop with the puncture skill. It got my to empowered monos and clears fine but the damage is so slow and low for bosses or anything with a lot of HP.

I believe the Drop Rate Blessings are just bonus drop chances for random drop items. As in they don't replace other items, you just get extra stuff. I don't know if Blessings interact with Prophecies. Blessings don't increase boss only drop chances, though.

For the Weaver tree, it's inexpensive to respec at just 20 Memory Amber a point, so feel free and experiment and take things you enjoy. I started with some of the "more" passives near the middle, then got the Imprints as they're very good, Loot Lizards because I think they're fun, and some stuff for larger pack sizes, extra dungeon keys, and Champions. I also took the node where a random Shade of Orobyss can jump you in maps, also because I think it's fun. But there's lots of other stuff in there as well, such as things for Weaver's Will, Nemesis, Exiled Mages, etc etc

Yes, but LE is pretty generous in respecs. You can respec your Skills at any time for free, you'll just have to re-level them a bit. Passive points can be respecced at any town with the brain icon NPC for regular gold. Mastery and all passives can be respecced in End of Time town with the NPC down at the bottom also for regular gold.

Noob here with a dumb question: I see posts on the subreddit about unique items with 3-4 legendary potential. I haven’t found one yet but am wondering why they are so valuable.

Legendary potential represents the number of affixes you can transfer in the legendary item creation progress. Standard items, excluding seals, have up to 4 affixes. 3-4 LP then, is like putting most of (or all -implicits) of an item into another one.

Temporal Sanctum dungeon lets you combine an Exalted item of the same base type as a Unique with Legendary Potential. A LP 3 would transfer 3 affixes from the Exalted item and a LP 4 would transfer all of the affixes. So you can basically copy the Exalted item onto the LP Unique when you have that much LP. Rarer uniques also have a lower chance of having a high LP, so getting high LP on some of them is extremely rare.

Correct, if the item has Legendary affixes it can't be used with Farsight Turtle. But, those can be used with Gauntlet of Strife.

The Gauntlet of Strife woven echo needs sacrificial copies of the same item to reroll every value within their ranges on Unique/Legendary items, including implicits and Legendary affixes. Just the values, it doesn't change an affix to a different affix. Each reroll requires a sacrificial copy of the same item with equal or higher Legendary affixes or LP and for WW items the WW number + affix tier.

Can anyone help me how to get good T6, T7 affixes on an exalted? the only way (it seems) to me, is to kill nemesis and improve some rare/exalteds and have a chance that some of those good affixes goes to T6,T7, Im trying to slam LP2 Uniques for my build. I dont know if the imprint system also helps by modifiying the affix but not the tier, having a chance to farm an exalted with several 6,7 and just change the affix. I could do it with Havoc/Redemption, but then the imprint items will have less FP. Im running Unclaimed Trove (sealed riches), killing champions (warlords riches), and running echoes (echoing riches) and Conquered tower woven echo to get some good item to empower.

Dont know if there is a good way to get the affixes ones need besides that.

For example Infernal Shade is usually 4x max shades, although there's Skill tree nodes that can give you more like Flight of Fire in Infernal Shade or Congregation of Shades in Dread Shade.

The increased item rarity from echo modifiers and higher Corruption will help. What you described also could work. The 1.2.3 update did change how FP and Imprints interact, so that you don't always get low FP is low FP is imprinted. But you could always Imprint higher FP and then craft off the Imprint drops as well.

Uniques are the same, just can have different values within the listed ranges. So you may find copies with better rolls or higher Legendary Potential. There are also woven echoes you can use to try to reroll the values within their ranges, Gauntlet of Strife, and the LP, Farsight Turtle.

Well, if the Legendary Crafting turns out how you want it. You can only guarantee 1x affix transfer with Temporal Sanctum T2+. So it's possible the crafting doesn't work out. But you can use those copies with undesirable affixes with Gauntlet of Strife as sacrificial items.

it uses the same chance as it dropping that LP in the first place tho, so it's just as rare to get anything better

i have 1 more question regarding the harbinger quest where you need to push your corruption to 300 and defeat all harbingers, is this leading towards the fight to uber abberoth and if i fail the fight, do i need to defeat all 10 harbingers all over again ?

it leads to normal abberoth, and you don't have to defeat 10 harbs again

also for the first fight (and perhaps buggedly - any subsequent fights until you log off, at least last I tried) you get revived inside the fight when you die so you technically can't fail

Hello fellow Travelers. i have a question regarding Mourningfrost and a node on the Flame Reave skill tree called Arcane Severance (Flame Reave deals more melee damage (multiplicative with other modifiers) and it deals added melee damage based on your added spell damage)

would Mourningfrosts unique affix (+1 cold damage to attacks and spells per point of dexterity) double dip here?
in the build planner it does show up as a seperate line in both added melee and spell damage.
