really good question, I've never thought of this before, as I understand the boosted drop rate of "ring" as preferred should have the same "rarity", "subtype", and "affixes" so it will be more likely to drop red ring if you put in a silver ring unique

• find a helmet with T7 and T6 from a nemesis
• imprint it in the weaver tree
• use runes of havoc and redemption as you see fit to get something with those mods

that unique provides good damage reduction and health but terrible armor, so if you use it with something that already has access to armor for free like sentinel or primalist then it is very good
usually you want % health or + skill levels in the chest piece though

Safest is to store the imprinted item without modifying it

So in order to get Set Shards you need to make your way through a specific Woven Echo, at the end is a Forge of Shattering where you can break down Set Items for Shards of the Set, which you can then craft onto regular items - however, just so you are aware, Reforged items (items with Set Affixes) cannot be used to create Legendaries

1: find what is called the "great bridge" which is where you can shatter any set items after making it all the way to the end of that "woven echo" (does require woven faction just to note.) also know that the forge of shattering can only be used up to three times each time you enter a great bridge echo.

2: once your chosen set pieces are shattered and you pick up the set affixes, you can then use forging potential to put those specific set affixes onto them. (be sure to check each one as some are designated as "prefixes" and others "suffixes".) items with set affixes will be designated as "reforged" at the end of the items name as explained by Averielle.

Note: set affixes on items cannot be used in the eternity cache to imbue uniques bearing LP with the set affix. (example: last bears fury reforged gauntlet affix cannot be put on a fighting chance unique gauntlets in the eternity cache..)

One good possibility would be to put it on a one-handed Crystal sword (the increased elemental melee damage and attack speed comes to mind.)

Only thing to mention: set affixes will have distinctive limitations, even at tier 7 if you use a rune of havoc on an item with a tier 7 affix to shuffle it over to the set affix in question.

The vault door is one of the gold sinks in the game and you can throw literally millions at it. I wrote this up earlier when someone else was asking about it. Yes, there's 3 random bosses in Arena. Unless you're already farming for a drop there, I'd skip those Prophecies.

The Lenses. Focusing Lens of Time that makes it so there's no arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. Obscuring Lens of Time that does the opposite for no monolith. Combine both and then it just does the generic prophecies, so no monolith, arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. Completion speed wise those two + whatever you want, such as Wealth.

If you don't mind doing Monolith Bosses, leave off Obscuring Lens of Time and can do a Lens to target something or Refracting Lens of Rhyme for double use.

There's a catch up mechanic for Corruption. With a timeline with higher Corruption, when you're in a timeline with lower you'll see a Bonus Corruption listed on the Shade fight. The regular Corruption + Bonus + Gaze will put you at about 95% of the highest Corruption.

Also, if the difference between highest Corruption and the lower one you're in 40+ or you have 8+ Gaze AND there isn't already a Shade echo, then completing any echo immediately makes a Shade echo next to the one you completed. There does need to be space for it to spawn, though.

The Shade of Orobyss is a boss located in the Echo of a World echoes that you'll find these on the edges of your echo web. The farther away from the starting point you fight him, the more Corruption you get. Also defeating the Timeline boss - the one you need Stability to fight - gives 1x Gaze of Orobyss. When you fight the Shade, up to 4x Gaze are used, giving +12 Corruption each. The Bonus Corruption in the picture is because I have a Timeline with higher Corruption and you get a bonus in lower Corruption timelines as a catch up mechanic.

There are more advanced things, such as using Glyph of Envy to increase Stability and Harbinger Needles small idols for additional Gaze, but the basics are: defeat Timeline boss, get Gaze, defeat Shade boss and up to 4x Gaze are used, and Corruption is increased.

Recommend you increase Corruption just in Empowered Monoliths/Timelines as there is a cap of 50 in regular and Empowered has base 100 Corruption with no cap. A popular strategy is to raise the Corruption high in one Timeline and then use the Bonus Corruption from the catch up mechanic to quickly boost the remaining lower Corruption Timelines.

For the Weaver tree, it's inexpensive to respec at just 20 Memory Amber a point, so feel free and experiment and take things you enjoy. I started with some of the "more" passives near the middle, then got the Imprints, Loot Lizards - because I think they're fun - and some stuff for larger pack sizes, extra dungeon keys, and Champions. I also took the node where a random Shade of Orobyss can jump you in maps, also because I think it's fun. But there's lots of other stuff in there as well, such as things for Weaver's Will, Nemesis, Exiled Mages, etc etc

There is a bit of an increase. Going from the 3x 90s, Empowered is area level 100 with 100 base corruption - which gives +60% enemy health and damage, but also increased item rarity and experience! Then there's also the echo modifiers.

That work was quick, back already. Looking at the link you shared, your EHP - effective health points - is pretty low. Getting that higher, with more Health/Ward, and additional defenses, would help. You currently do not have either 100% Critical Strike Avoidance or a high value of Reduced Bonus Damage taken from Critical Strikes. One or the other, don't need both. If you're going to be mainly Health, then get more Endurance. If you're going to be mainly Ward, Endurance only helps against damage to Health. Armor helps against all Hits, including to Ward, but DoTs bypass Armor as they don't Hit.

Flame Ward is also a good defensive Skill, if you can do you best to use it when you get into trouble. Also increasing your move speed so you can more easily avoid enemy attacks can help a lot. And using Teleport and Evade to get out enemy attacks.

How you can check. I look up the item with https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/ or https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/uniques and see where it drops. If it mentions a specific boss, then it's from that boss. If it's a random world drop, then you can possibly get it from anywhere. Including Rune of Ascendance and Circle of Fortune Prophecies. "Exclusive echo rewards" just refers to how a certain Timeline can have echo rewards that give you a random Unique/Set item of that type, similar to Rune of Ascendance.

something that is a bit unethical and more of a pro strategy
is getting a lot of monolith prophecies and getting out of the fight after killing the boss but before killing the harbinger, because you only lose 50 stability instead of hundreds
this can be hard to pull off if you don't have a good loot filter for it, because you would get swamped by loot and not have enough time to pick it up before the harbinger appears
of course you also don't get boss loot nor blessings when you do that

Yeah people have mentioned Tombs/Cemeteries.

For the Prophecies, Focusing Lens of Time that makes it so there's no arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. Obscuring Lens of Time that does the opposite for no monolith. Combine both and then it just does the generic prophecies, so no monolith, arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. Completion speed wise those two + whatever you want, such as Wealth.

So for Tombs/Cemeteries, do generic stuff like boss, Exiled Mage, or Nemesis Prophecies and complete them inside. I tried it and it worked ok. Although, I also get an ok amount of Havoc and Redemption just playing. I am using Weaver tree Fury and Fortune, the one where rare enemies are always enraged but you get more glyphs/runes.

Game content wise, 300 gets you everything up to Aberrorth and all of the 300 Corruption woven echoes. 500 gets you to Threshold of Eternity woven echo for Uber Aberrorth.

Past that, whatever you're comfortable with. If you're clearing at a decent speed and not constantly dying, feel free and keep pushing. There's diminishing returns around 1k, but there's no cap.

You never have to finish the campaign. So you can just go into Monoliths whenever you feel ready for it. If you wanted to go to Chapter 7, you'll be capped on passive and idol unlocks after you get the Lance. But you can also go into Monoliths sooner and then finish up the unlocks later.

Another example, this Season I played through the Campaign to Chapter 5, got the Temporal Sanctum dungeon waypoint, then went into Monoliths until I found a Temporal Sanctum dungeon key. I then used the key and a portal charm to warp directly to the dungeon boss, defeated her, and walked out the dungeon exit into Chapter 9 and joined an item Faction in Maj'Elka. Finally, did a couple quests in Chapter 9 to get the last couple idol unlocks.

So completely skipped the rest of Chapter 5 and all of 6, 7, and 8 by using the short cut into 9. I could optionally complete Chapter 9 for the +1 all attributes from Majasa.

I have a couple of questions pertaining to portals in Dungeons.
1- Do the intermission rooms between dungeon gates allow your town portal to bring you back to to the same room?

If you put the item in there, there is a bug right now on imprints. If you change or sell it, the imprint reflects those changes To make it actually "freeze" the imprinted item. Restart the game (entirely, the whole application) after making an imprint

Someone earlier compared SAF/SCF to like being in offline mode and that's an ok way to think about them.

While you technically can join Merchant's Guild when you play offline and online SAF/SCF, you're not getting any benefit from doing so. The only online challenge mode that can actually use Merchant's Guild is Hardcore.

Also note that while it still mentions direct player trading, that was removed in 1.2. There's only the Bazaar now.

If you have that same bow with 2 LP

you can get an item (preferably with t6 or t7 affixes)

and then put it into that bow

The problem is that only 1 affix is guaranteed to get onto that bow, so then you have to gamble with the other 3 affixes on the slammed item

Glyphy of Envy is the fastest. But the Stability you get per echo goes up the farther the echo is from the starting point and with Corruption. So it also gets faster to get the Stability. There is also a Weaver tree passive for increased Stability.

I guess some common things to check would be: do you have either 100% Critical Strike Avoidance or a high value of Reduced Bonus Damage Taken from Critical Strikes. One or the other, don't need both. Are you at 60% Endurance. Do you have one Idol with % chance to Fear on Hit. What's your EHP - effective health pool. etc.

Ok! The things I mentioned should all help with surivability. Getting either 100% arit avoid or a high value of reduced crit taken would help not getting one shot by a crit. Endurance is helpful as it reduces damage to Health, up to 60% damage reduction where it caps. There is a Blessing, Grand Embers of Immortality from Spirits of Fire that can roll with up to +30% Endurance. Getting a Large Acolyte Idol with % chance to Fear on Hit gives you some crowd control as the Feared enemies won't be attacking you. Armor is also good, helps against all Hits, Blessing Grand Bulwark of the Tundra. And just having a larger Health pool: flat +Health, % increased Health, and hybrid Health with both flat + and % increased. And of course trying to have your resistances near the 75% cap.

If that particular Shade has some ability combo that's giving you trouble, you could try a different Shade echo. Or you could try Confluence of Oblivion, as someone earlier mentioned they found that easier - even though there's 5x Shades, maybe because they weren't the extra Corruption scaling you'd see listed on an Echo of a World in the lower right.

i am playing a void knight and i am going for warpath build. I currently have 312 mana and got the void well passive. Is it normal to get interrupted for a splitsecond when mana is going empty before void well triggers?

All no. For Leech there's Increased Leech Rate. For Health on Hit, it's Leech. For Health on Kill that's a flat amount and I'm not sure if there's things to scale that. Health Regn also has it's own affixes. Healing Effectiveness just increases things like Healing Hands and Eterra's Blessing. There are also some passives that let you instead scale Healing Effectiveness for damage.

Yes it's normal that at some point it resets, especially if you're using Warrior's Fury node You can just keep holding down the button and it should just rechannel Warpath automatically

Warrior's Fury makes the cost constantly go up so that at some point you'll definitely run out. Maybe check with #🔱┃sentinel , I'm not sure what the recommended mana pool is for Warpath to have Void Well keep you up for long enough to constantly sustain without Warrior's Fury specced. Edit: looking at https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/echo-warpath-void-knight-guide they're recommending at least T5 Reduced Channel Cost on Helmet and at least 400 Mana before putting a point into Warrior's Fury.

You have a better chance to get at least some since it has more tiers, but if you really want the shards, use runes of removal (+ glyph of hope) until you remove that affix and it'll give you all of them

For the first question: Shatter gives between zero and the tier number of shards for each affix on the item, minimum of one shard per item. Because Shatter can possibly give zero shards of an affix, if you really want the shards you mentioned you may want to instead use Rune of Removal. Removal always gives the full tier number of shards on what it removes. And if Rune of Removal doesn't take off the affix you want and the item ends up at zero Forging Potential, you can still use Shatter.

In answer to your second question, yes it exists as a shard.

Last I played birbs was before 1.0, dunno how it's doing these days. Yeah the maxroll guide is pretty deece, although there're a number of things you can do in the summoning process to make the abomination quite a bit stronger.

Map clearing is straight up garbage with abom btw, if you factor in the time needed to summon it, but oh well

You can. When you select the Timeline boss quest in the upper left of the echo web, at the bottom of the boss fight start screen there will be a Harbinger Crest. Unchecking that will make the Harbinger not show up after the Timeline boss. If the Harbinger Crest is greyed out, that means you don't have enough Corruption for a Harbinger to spawn.

Factions page, Y key, on Forgotten Knight faction push the Harbinger button for details on the Harbinger quest and what Corruption you need.

Not the tiers, just the values within their ranges for the affixes and implicits. Example, if the tier range is from 10 to 20 and the item rolled a 15, you could try to reroll the value within the 10 to 20 range and try to get a higher value.

Gauntlet of Strife does not change one affix into a different affix.

You'd have to decide if that's worth it to you. For example if you crafted on a T7 affix that was already at or almost at the max value, then rerolling may not be a good choice.

Yeah WW items it's the same. You just need to total up all of Legendary affixes tier + WW number to see how big of a WW copy of the same item you need to sacrifice.

Increased item rarity does improve boss loot drops chances and that's from a combination of the echo modifiers and Corruption. The Shade boss is an exception, he instead has increased boss loot drop chances based on the distance from the starting point and the Corruption number, instead of the increased item rarity from Corruption.

Yes, the Shade does scale with the listed Corruption increase in the lower right when you select Echo of a World. Example, if it says you'd be getting +50 Corruption from defeating the Shade, the Shade in that fight has that Corruption applied as well.
