@rotund dome The 40% chance for ailment is a multiplier. Since warpath hit faster than most skills, it applies ailments less often. If you have 100% Chance to apply poison, warpath will transform this into 60% chance. If you had 500% Chance to apply it, it will be 300% on warpath.

The prophecy will tell will the area. It can be a specific dungeon, any dg (above x tier), specific monolith, any monolith, any arena (x tier), or no specific zone at all.

@drowsy rapids LP allows you to take stats (affixes) from a uncommon, rare (or exalted) item and put them on the legendary you have. The number shows how many stats will be put on the legendary. You cannot chose the stats, they will be chosen randomly among those on the rare item.

LP chance is a fixed chance for every item and is dependant on how good the item is. Some uniques have a 1 in 4.2k chance for 4LP (chance is higher obv for lower LP) others have lower or higher. You cant do anything to improve that chance but dropping multiple uniques of the same type will obviously make it more likely for one of them to have LP, you can increase the multiple unique drops through prophecies and stuff (quant/dup rewards etc) Thats about it.

If the wiki ( or better check lastepochtools item database ) doesnt say its boss specific drop, it can drop anywhere. Most of the time it tells you to go to a specific monolith is because every monolith has its own item rewards. AkA 'Blood, Frost, and Death' monolith you can target farm body armours through the 'unique/set body armour' echo rewards. Prophecies obviously change this entire target farming fiësta by giving you options to do other stuff (except boss drops ofcourse)

@stray scarab Having above 75% will help you get protected from Resistance Shred. (Wish will lower your uncapped first) If you don't have above 75% and you get shreded by 25% (bringing you to 50%). The 75% penetration will bring you to -25% (it can go negative.) Some magic and rare enemies can apply resistance shred on hits.

@light pilot Your minions do not trigger on kill effect for the players and vice versa. On kill effects from minions do not trigger, when the player kills enemies.

@cinder sparrow You can use them to shatter them (but it's the same thing to shatter a tier 1 affix vs a tier 5), you could keep them for your next character. Or if you use rune of removals, you'll get shard in amount similar to the tier of the affix. If you ONLY plan to play your marskman, you could hide them.

Shattering does depend on affix tier to a certain extent, the higher the affix the more maximum shards you can get via shattering, ofcurse you can get unlucky and still only pull 1 shard on a T7 affix for example.

@jolly hinge I cannot judge others loot filters but it's my opinion that stats you don't need shouldn't be picked up if you dont trade or don't plan on playing other characters.

@hardy rampart When you first reach "End of time" you can start doing monoliths. (they will be level 58, but maybe you're strong enought?) While doing this you lose out on passive points and idols from quests. One way to get them quickly is by the use of dungeons. They will grant you those rewards faster, but dungeons can be real challenges !

That's a boss drop, you can't get that from rune of ascendance, it can only give random drops. Also, you don't need the right base, only the right type

but once you unlock r8 you can pretty much do the endgame gear yourself
i wish i joined COF earlier because MC is a true grind with no gear progression between r4 and r8 except lucky rolls

@rough nacelle you can use runes of removal om exalted items, yes. My advice is: If you don't think you can possibly craft an item into something usable (or sacrificable for making a legendary) for one of your builds AND the item has no affixes you need shards for, don't pick it up. Only pick up items you want to craft or shatter.

Ping also doesnt affect you at all in this game unless its like 150+ where you can start noticing some delays in actions.

@marble zinc the prophecy has a target to kill or complete and a condition. For example, "Kill three rare enemies in a tier two soulfire bastion dungeon". If you kill the enemies in the place, they drop the reward. No need to turn them in for a reward or anything.

@acoustic thicket they're meant to be used for very specific builds, leveling, etc. They're meant to be generally worse than well-crafted exalted items.

@proven frigate the higher your corruption the more you find those unique item echoes specific to each time line. Otherwise yeah, get staff prophecies and use runes of ascendance on staves.

@torpid zincBosses have a built in scaling damage reduction (DR) to prevent them from getting one shot. It softly limits how much you can do to them in a short period of time.

@fallen ridge Soulfire bastion is already kinda like that. You do the dungeon and then get to gamble for items at the end. As for knowing the reward beforehand? No one knows.

@neon hollow You can't get two of the same mod from multiple LP, so the odds are the same either way. You also use all the LP at once. You can't, say, use one exalted item for the first LP and then swap it out to use the second LP. All LPs are used on a single 4-affix exalted item.

@wise fogThey're permanent until you re-run the questline for that monolith and you get offered a new set of blessings and you can (optionally) replace the one you have

Imo, it's not worth farming the black sun timeline for a unique (or any timeline for a unique, for that matter) until you get to empowered monos

The blood fire and death timeline is the only timeline that can get "unique body armour" as an echo reward node so it's technically the best one to target farm exsanguinous. No need to reset it via quests. Though I will say that reward node is very rare and probably not worth farming for unless you're doing empowered monos.

There's a HUGE problem with the Bazaar, it doesn't say beforehand I can't equip an item. I just bought an Armor, only to later discover it's class-specific. If you use warpath and you take both the earthschorcher (phys to fire) and apocalypse whirl (phys to void) nodes in the skill tree, how does it calculate the damage?
Will warpath be a 50/50 of fire/void or will it depend on whichever note you took first?
So if you converted to void first, then when you take the fire conversion it doesn't have the physical tag anymore due to already being converted and therefor will stay void converted? 🙂

Its random when using shatter. You receive 1-x shards, x being the tier of the affix. If you want all shards you need removal rune but that removes 1 affix at random so you may end up using more runes until you get the one you need

My warlock is just leveling and melting content, but my first content melter was a falconer, and it's just as fast as the warlock, go for a bow falocner take the furthest right of explosive traps which makes it a bow skill, then give your falcon bonuses from bow (lower right part of the tree iirc), and then just spam traps and dive bombs and falconry, though I must warn you that may make you feel a bit useless, cause the falcon will kill everything
Alternatively you can go for an acid flask thrown falconer, again with explosive traps throwing acid flasks, but now you make the falcon scale with your thrown damage instead of your bow damage
I also want to try a melee falconer with a spear, but Idon't know how it performs, the first two builds I told you bout work great though

@terse ivy you use dungeon keys to go a different path than the standard campaign. It's neat for leveling alts but idk how fast it is, never done it myself.

Idk which ones do which off the top of my head, but the blood fire and death timeline, for example, is the only one that can have unique body armor echo rewards (though the unique item rewards are pretty rare in all Time lines)

I’m not sure why my character likes to stutter and lag when I play with a controller. I got this game 2 days ago and I immediately starting playing with my ps5 controller. I would experience stutters here and there but would always consider them to be lag spikes. I’ve then decided to try playing with my mouse and keyboard, the game seems to be running smoother then it’s even been. Does anyone here play with a controller and is experiencing the same problems? If its just generic stats yeah but things like conversion, proccing other skills, and a ton of things won't show on the tooltip. But basic things like attack speed, increased damage, flat damage etc will show and can give you some idea what is better

well if you max out the stability bar you can do the boss twice in a row, so you can stack 2 40% rarity echoes for a neat 80% rarity boost for the boss if youre farming the boss for a specific drop, unless the rarity boost doesnt work in the story areas

Gameplay is definitely faster than D1, most of the work is done by planning a build, crafting gear and allocating passives and skill points. The combat isn't exactly 4D chess but certain builds requires much more than others

Resistances are multiplicative with other forms of damage mitigation or amplification, but additive with itself. If you reduce a monster's lightning resistance by 5% thirty times, that's 150% lower resist. If the monster had 0 from the beginning, it's now taking 250% of original incoming damage

Yes it is very worth because your resistance is going to be 75
Once you have more than 75% , these % of resistance are like your " capped resistance shield" the sole purpose of this is to protect your 75% capped resistance, if you've got 150% or 100% or 80%, your true resistance will still be 75%(you'll reduce 75% damage of the element in the resistance you have this) but if mobs have 50% penetration and you have 150% resistance for exemple, they'll reduce your resistance from 150 to 100 and since this not your "true" resistance but just your "resistance defense" you will keep your capped 75% !
It is some kind of "over-resistance" that prevent your actual resistance from being lowered.
So yes, it is worth it and the game encourage you to go higher than 75% resistance because monster have 1% penetration per level. (lv 70 mobs have 70% penetration, lv 50 mob have 50% penetration and so on)

Yes, that works. If you have 2.5 times more base crit, it's going to have 2.5 times more crit chance than your generic 5% base crit used in char sheet

I am not sure if I understand your question but you need to always use the base crit chance to calculate. You can get items that add to base value for example if you spells base crit chance is 2% you can find an item that gives +2% base crit chance. Then your base crit chance is 4%. Everything that increases spell critical strike chacne will then multiply that base number. For example +2% base + 2% from item = 4% * 200% increased critical strike chance = 8% crit chance
