Again; all gear is perfectly attainable. I have three reasonably-equipped characters on my account, and if I recover my muscle memory quickly enough, then I still can take part in the relative endgame no problem.

The build guide lists Uber Aberroth gear so would be a bit of 🤦‍♂️ if it can't actually kill it.

This is a pretty hard question to answer honestly. Since skill and knowledge of the fight can play a really big role. You could definitely kill Uber Abby with harvest flay lich but other builds might have an easier time

Id have as much luck looking up a video as yourself. I haven't done it myself on flay harvest lich. But generally I'd say a few million DPS is the bare minimum with tens of millions being more comfy

It also obviously depends on how tanky you are. For example I've killed it on shatter strike back when he first came out on a setup so squishy everything including his basic attack one shot me by pretty much no-hitting the fight, but the build had enough damage to where I only needed to avoid getting hit for around 1.5-2 minutes

Other builds might have way less damage but be so tanky that it's way easier to kill him on them even though it takes like 10 minutes.

That's why it's hard to say whether a build is "viable" for him, the only limiting factor in the fight are the central lasers so as long as you have the damage to kill him before they become overwhelming or the tankyness to not care much about them the build can kill him with varying amounts of player skill.

The problem I am running into is that harvest flay is tanky when you are attacking, but it gets so messy that you are running around, and that is when you die. The other problem is coming out of reaper form

If I am attacking, I can face tank the lasers (IDK how many stacked up, but at least a few)

You can use this tool to view the odds of getting a certain lp on a specific unique at a given corruption level. While lp scales with corruption the scaling slows down a lot as you go higher in corruption so the difference between something like 1000 and 3000 corruption won't be very big. Coupled with the fact that you're likely clearing 3000 corruption slower than you would 1000 corruption and it can often result in feeling youre not dropping as much/as good loot. There's also the fact that rarity slowly skews you towards dropping more and more uniques/set items and less exalted times but iirc you need an absurd amount of corruption for that to start becoming a negative

We have not gotten anything exciting for the past 12 months and that includes the purchase of Last Epoch by Krafton which means unlimited resources into making it profitable.

What work has been done in actually making it profitable? We have not seen anything at all, it´s more or less snowballing into the opposite direction due to no new content when most of us from the beginning was expecting new skills on a cycle-basis (2-3 months)

The bad thing in this whole deal is the bigger the staff, the harder it is to coordinate. "Bonus corruption" for the whole company being scattered across the globe.

That, plus if everything is in disarray, then it ends up in the company bleeding funds.

Gets worse if the output quality is questionable.

You know how Judd himself admitted that the "seasons" we've got so far didn't quite land finance-wise.

And the playerbase repeatedly pointed him at the glaring weak points LE has.

Remains to be seen if that's been taken to heart, but it's best not to harbor any expectations lest the disappointment gets to the point of straight up abandoning the game.

overall I think it comes down to "time travel shenanigans". That specific future could never happen unless/until apophis came back with the influence of orobyss. the divine era was the gods ruling...but they already existed in the ancient era, as there were statues of them, and there was one little crab npc that was 'serving' lagon while he learned about the world. they were essentially children though, and without eterra's guideance, gave into their 'worse' side. again, i think more 'time travel shenanigans' with someone from the future rewriting the past to ensure their own creation.

I guess the way I would think about that is if time itself is always in motion, and that it would only matter if he never found out, but he did find out eventually. Now that he knows, he knows, it was not that he didn't know before, because eventually he found out, so the past when he didn't know is irrelevant now as on now actually matters as we traverse it. Going back and changing the past only creates new futures as it then begins to travel forwards in motion again differently, not new pasts as such, as that past was created in the future. But it was inevitable he would eventually know as he will see it when it arrives as he himself, is a fundamental player in it. And imperfection in his own calculations. He himself is not infinite, the future is not determined even if he thought it was, new futures are always possible as time itself never stops and is not final.

I think there is only now, and if you travelled backwards in time so to speak, it would just be a new future, not a new past. You bring the past forwards, not move yourself backwards to it locationally. Because it is always "now" to you, locality wise.

Or something, that is how I think about it.

I guess perhaps a shorter way to say that is maybe if stillness is not a valid state, and time itself is only forwards, then "all knowing/seeing" is also not a valid state and to believe it is, is a mistake, as he too is forced to exist in Now, travelling forwards. as for poe vaal orbing...mostly looking for new implicits on uniques. the system in LE is getting compared to this, becuase on the surface its pretty similar...both use teh 'corrupted' tag and both appear unmodifyable after

I don't buy that dollar amount for a game that isn't finished. It's all to easy to turn servers down when they aren't being used. The world lives on that model and given it was not live with millions of people on it, non stop, that doesn't make sense. Poor design, lies, or lack of turning stuff off during non-usage and that might be true at that point. Either way, it doesn't matter now.

I hadn't played D4 since Season 1 and I picked up the upcoming expansion, that included the last expansion and character as well, and have been playing the Paladin. It feels better to play to a degree but I really can't stand the ....18 monster types and some bosses and world bosses just in a cyclical loop. It feels disgustingly repetative that I dont feel as much in LE or PoE 1/2. Now that GGG is driving their game into the ground because you occasionally get loot that is worth stopping for and 3 different variances of the same currency, I've basically completely abandoned those 2 games as well. They would rather it be such a chore to get things done that again...where's the game? Where's the fun? IF the whole process of the game is just picking up trash that is literally trash and absolutely not useful for you MOST of the way--the fun is gone. Really looking forward to these next growth patches with LE

Also since PoE2 completely ripped off the end game of LE in my opinion....that was equally dissapointing.

I know of Ashes of Creation obviously, but have no idea about what drama people are referring. I know it was largely a bit of a mixed bag since it has open world griefing by the sounds of it, which is somewhat hilarious given how many times that has failed so repeatedly even though it is something I would love someone to get "right" someday. Did something else happen to AoC or is it just bad?

I've never minded supporting a game. D4 was $70 on release I think? Then 1 exp for $30-$40, and now another for $40. I have every intention of paying for the content LE is bringing because I STILL don't have as much into LE with that upcoming purchase, as the base game of D4 as an example.

Its hard to explain how much I was enjoying the bow pustules shot and playing my bow build in PoE2, compared to how furious I was when I logged in for Druid and took my bow out and realized they changed the entire pustule skill to be some vapid nonsense, I will never touch that game again just for that. Summon zombie isn't a spell, the tag is there to indicate the scaling of the zombie explosion

but the skill you're casting is not a spell
