Builds on maxroll are solid, and a great guide to follow to learn the game, also with easy spots to make changes and upgrades come late game

A build on LETools can be better… but they can also be a lot worse

And that’s not looking at the fact that Maxroll does a quality write up and explains why certain things are good

which as long as the new player actively reads their skills + passive's tooltips, it helps them get an understanding of the game faster

I'd say that the actual lore of Diablo as it spans through all of the games is actually pretty fascinating, it's just that story telling of D4/D3 is in my opinion just kind of alright at best.
A lot of my Diablo lore consumption comes through youtube videos, tbh. Dark Lore Dash videos are top tier for this. D4 I think is really fun to play for a day or two each season, reach cap, and then move on

"The Overgrown Alcove" that is what it is called, it took me a minute to remember where it was, but it is attached to The Verdant Lakes in the Ancient Era. There is a boulder covering the entrance that you click on to enter it. It has some sort of machine in it, and then 4 stones that activate if you walk near them. I remember wondering if 4 people stand here does it do something but I rarely party in arpgs. lol, was always curious what it was for.

Ah yes, you can attack the boulder to reveal the entrance, but it also lets you through if you just click on it

I do the full campaign before going to monos with any character I make. I enjoy the campaign tbh. Also I thought that you got +1 to all attributes when you beat the boss at the end or something, maybe I imagined that lol

I have been wondering recently about the fastest route through campaign recently without missing any idol slots etc. but am unsure how exactly it all works. Sometimes I'd love to just level through Arena or something mindlessly. But on brand new characters you don't have any keys really unless you go to monoliths first I would imagine or something.

Yeah monoliths are the only way to get keys early enough to matter without trading and even then it’s not really practical to do any of them except I guess like temp sanctum

My biggest issue with the campaign is that it's not really compelling in virtually any way. There's some fun characters and an occasional good plot beat, but most of it is kind of middling. Once Idol/Passive rewards dry up from quests, you're pretty much just knocking them off to make sure there's no more notification about it. I think a lot about its design and the general time travel nature of the plot have backed it into a corner though, and now it's kind of stuck playing by some rules that really hurt it IMHO.

I've been meaning to make a suggestion post about the campaign for a while, because I feel like the back 20% or so is an absolute slog until you're in the final boss fight and even then, that's only really compelling because they sting that fight really early on.

And that's not saying the front 80% is some amazing part. I think the arc surrounding Heorot is pretty neat, but I think the rest of the campaign teeters on viciously forgettable and I think it struggles to find an identity in a genre that is saturated with titles that have no problem identifying in any such way

But if you play circle of fortune (basically you can't trade but you get access to a target farming system as well as higher and better drops) you'll be fine. Content wise I'd say it's worth the money if that's what you mean

I really dislike the whole having to farm eyes to do him a lot. Other than the quest I really don't want to have to do him at all. Leaving Solo self character gave me the quest back though which is double irritating so now I have to clear it again. But his script is quite irritating. When bosses do their moves out of sequence and there is no way to evade only soak it and die.

I don't think I would mind him so much if it wasn't for the whole two harbingers and wait time before fighting him as well as having to farm harbingers for eyes they kind of just annoy me in general, as they take me a long time to fight at higher corruption, and I don't really want to ever feel have to lower corruption to farm something at a lower rarity than the boss before it which is super easy.

Sound is extremely important for the feel of video games, especially ones that are more fast paced with a lot on the screen

In the rts genre for example, starcraft 2's sound design is like, one of the reasons it did as well as it did, no other rts has even come close to how well it pulled off clear, impactful, informative, and thematic sound design.

In arpgs, poe2 is basically the best at this right now, becuase nearly all other arpgs get sound washed out a lot, and that makes hits, abilities, anythign power related, feel weaker

So i think its a really good thing they're asking for feedback on that stuff

Becuase its also a very hard thing to gauge without community response

(and last epoch doesnt do it as well as it could)

that's not a like, subjective thign like how much someone likes the story is or something

that's an objective piece of feedback about the technical side of sound

If you know, tell me. I have a mx150 Chip and couldn't play beyond like lvl 20. 0fps in some areas in fight. I think it were some void enemies which were the problem.
Also while I am at it, why is twitch so slow for me? It often stops working even, error - twitch stopped working. you wanna wait for it to work or close? I don't bottleneck anywhere according to task manager when it happens. Just sometimes in moment unrelated to the error in cpu, but a i8250u should handle twitch only. I also have like 20gb ram I believe, which 10 of are used only during watching twitch.

then season 2 to 3 was 4months? I think but it felt like there was barely any new content in the season (sure, we got act10 but that's not exactly seasonal content) and a lot of the bugs didn't get fixed.
