it's not pure ward but there's nothing else to do while your reflect ticks kill so why not lol

Yeah, reflect sounds fun. I’ll look into it. I had a thorns build in D4 once on my barbarian, but the open world multiplayer stuff was silly because nothing would hit me with all the other players around

Yeah! You can do forged weapons for sure. I’m personally not a minion person. I mainly utilize the forgeguard to hold both a shield and 2h weapon. It’s the primary perk you get

That is a dot build using erasing strike but the damage is from timerot scaling being honest not sure how easy to gear up will be, I prefer hit build erasing basically everything evaporates around you ,bosses melt as well or warpath which is great for bossing and mapping both builds are uber capable and scale very good

Tbh every class has at least 1 build that can easily do 1000+ corruption. Double T7 gear makes a pretty big difference though, gaming has some pretty spicy equips

It’s relatively simple. Either they make leveling to 100 easy and also make most builds work at lvl 100. Or lower the max level and add another progression system like paragon in Diablo… or leave things as they are where your build works earlier and you keep making it better and you have specific milestones tied to your gameplay. 300cc, t4 julra kill, Aberforth kill etc

Yup that’s correct, it’s just to start brand new fresh each season. Every other feature is available in legacy at this point. I think devs said that might change at some point, but I like that they do it this way.

D4 only adds new features to the seasonal league I think to get you to play more, which I don’t like

it felt okay to decent at 1.0/1.1 powerlevels, then we got uberroth and build expectations kind of skyrocketed, so it fell by the wayside

Flame Ward is fire aura's skill tree, technically, which in practice means it doesn't actually have a skill tree. So the way to do damage with fire aura is brute-forcing as many stacks as you can get

It's only weak because it doesn't have a tree

A lot of skills even with just 200% or so ADE end up in the thousands of % effective ADE per use (ADE multiplied by tree damage modifiers)

For example shatter strike has around 40 000% "effective added damage effectiveness" (I know it sounds dumb). Which would be the same as 285 stacks of fire aura

Obviously the fire res node will make up for it a bit but not enough to close the gap by itself I don't think
