The biggest downside of this item is not the fact that you give up two t5 affixes on a lot of gear, it is the fact that you give up a lot of power from LP uniques. t5 affixes are kinda trash compared to t7 affixes, and this spear with 4 lp will be BiS for any melee build still.

? Devs said any item with 2 non-sealed affixes counts as magic. Which means you have t21 (t7 sealed + 2 non-sealed t7) items in your slots in your maxed setup.

It's not a question of whether item works or not, it's a question of whether you have the gear for this item to be good.

I've been itching a little bit to play this genre of game (grim dawn, poe, diablo 4, etc.), and I know this is the Last Epoch discord so it might be biased, I'm interested to hear whether this would be a good choice over any others (particularly POE)

PoE2 is also a solid game, it's still very early in development though, so not nearly as complex as PoE1, but it's far more approachable as a new player. It will be as complex as PoE1 eventrually. LE on the other hand has a nice balance

won't be using much mana for damage, so might as well make it a secondary HP pool

Can get 40-90% damage to mana instead of health depending on what helmet you want, and with the 4 to 1 damage to mana mechanic it would make you super tanky.

Keep in mind at the end of the season, seasonal stashes get added as a withdraw only giga tab separate to your original, so it's potentially like +200 withdraw only tabs per season, so starting fresh on season comes with 0 drawbacks
