From what I could tell while I was doing that quest, if you leave and come back it does not change the encounter table like it normally would for each safari game. So if you unfortunately don’t get any encounter tables with say Kanga, you’ll still have to play the safari game normally to get that one. (Had to do it with chansey) ignore this, no day exclusive pokemon lmao

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Both options will update the game files for you. If it didn't, rerun the update and wait for it to finish. Take and share a screenshot of the window to #tech-support

Sorry, since there's a quest to catch a mon during rain and the pokeradar wiki page mentions weather (amongst other things) affecting stuff, I thought I was doing something wrong when I am just not getting specific encounters for some reason.

4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.57gb zip

If you did ALL above, share a screenshot of you doing step 5 of the guide to show us your game files.

In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. Hey @median creek! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

It is really that simple, the people who volunteer to help people are under no obligation to help out people who change their files. Makes the job harder. They have no "power" to wield so power hungry is totally off the mark.

If you fresh install to unmod your files they can probably help with any issues you are facing, there is no mod punishment for cheating the magic boots in but you can't expect help if you are changing your game files.
