HELPER ROLE JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Watchog: Help with moderation!

🟡 Our pack of Watchogs are trusted members who have the ability to mute other users when they break the rules. They help protect members of the community by nipping rule-breaking behaviour in the bud when mods aren't around.

🔵 Your responsibility as a Watchog will be to use the /mute Deino command to hand out mutes of a maximum of 30 minutes, and to then report more serious infractions to a Moderator if you think they deserve a more severe punishment.

Please only apply if you fit the following criteria:

1. Have been a member of the server for at least 30 days.
2. Have not received any warnings/timeouts for rule breaks in the past 30 days.
3. Have a good understanding of how the rules are enforced on the server.
4. Are active regularly on the server.
   

🔑🔑🔑 Klefki: Give people the Spriter role!

🟡 Klefkis hold the keys to the #sprite-gallery. They have the ability to grant the Spriter role to applicants in #1134483288703119361!

🔵 Your job will be to regularly check #1134483288703119361 for new application and take care of new posts. This includes giving the user feedback on their sprites and information about the guidelines, as well as running the command that'll grant them the role once their sprites show they understands the fundamentals of spriting and meet a minimum quality standard.

1. Have been a Spriter for at least 30 days.
2. Have at least 30 sprites posted to the gallery.
3. Have a good understanding of the quality standards of IF, and what constitutes a Pokémon sprite, and the #spriting-guidelines.

🦝🦝🦝 Zigzagoon: Post abandoned sprites to the gallery!

🟡 Zigzagoons pick up every lost sprite! They have the special permission to post other people's sprites to the gallery through a bot, so that everyone's sprites can be included in the game!

🔵 Your responsibility is to find any sprites in #1050404143807873157 that has been untouched for at least two weeks and meets a minimum quality standard, and then post them to #sprite-gallery or #assets-gallery with a special Yanmega command (that we will teach you once you apply)!

Please only apply if you fit the following criteria:

1. Have been a Spriter for at least 30 days.
2. Have at least 20 sprites posted to the gallery.
3. Have a good understanding of the quality standards of IF, and what constitutes a Pokémon sprite, and the #spriting-guidelines.
4. Are active regularly on the server.
   

🥚🥚🥚 Chansey: Help fix sprite errors! Currently Closed!

🟡 Any sprite that finds itself in a bad shape are treated by our brave Chanseys over at #1052360360172199977! These meticulous workers know how to fix anything from half pixels to misnamed files.

🔵 Your job as a Chansey would be to regularly check ⁠⁠#1052360360172199977 and take care of any new posts that pops up. This may involve editing a sprite, reposting it with a corrected file name, making sure the dex numbers are present in the reports, having knowledge of the sprite pack production cycle, and editing the credits sheet to have the sprite be associated with the right artist.

Please only apply if you fit the following criteria:

1. Have been a Spriter for at least 30 days.
2. Have at least 30 sprites posted to the gallery.
3. Have a good understanding of the quality standards of IF, and what constitutes a Pokémon sprite, and the #spriting-guidelines.
4. Know how to fix errors such as resizing mistakes, blur, JPG artefacts, misnamed sprites and credit errors.

☁️☁️☁️ Swablu: Ensure sprites went through Spritework!

🟡 Swablu's are meticulous members of the community who help make sure all sprites have enough time to get feedback!

🔵 A Swablu's job is to make sure every sprite that's posted to #sprite-gallery has been through #1050404143807873157 first, with the help of a bot that flags any uncertain sprite in a private channel. You will have to talk to any spriters who try to bypass spritework, and flag those cases to Sprite Managers if the user doesn't make their spritework post after being notified.

Porygon: Give tech support to users! Currently Closed!

🟡 Porygons are the personnel of #tech-support and #1142871804269052004 who tirelessly help players with the glitches and problems they encounter in-game!

🔵 As a Porygon, your job is to help people solve technical problems with their game, and to collect resources that explain how to fix recurring issues in pins.

Please only apply if you fit the following criteria:

1. Have been a member of the server for at least 30 days.
2. Have a good understanding of the installation guides for all platforms and how to troubleshoot common bugs. [Reference](#tech-support message)
3. Have helped at least 10 players with their installation/setup issues (Not in game related issues).

📜📜📜 Unown: Approve Pokédex entries and help users write them well!

🟡 Unowns are the wordsmiths of #dex-entries-submissions who approve Pokédex entries for use in-game, and help users write them!

🔵 As an Unown, your job is to help people write their entries without mistakes in #dex-entries-discussion, edit and approve/deny all the submissions on the spreadsheet, and create guides on how to fix recurring grammar/syntax/style issues.

Please only apply if you fit the following criteria:

1. Have been a member of the server for at least 30 days.
2. Have a good understanding of the English language's grammar and syntax, as well as how Pokédex entries are structured.
3. Have at least 10 approved Pokédex entry submissions.
   

# Mime Jr: Run fun events on the server!

🟡 Mime Jr. are our event organizers! From month-long spriting adventures to mini contests and everything in between, these hard working ringmasters keep the fun going year round for server members to enjoy.

🔵 Your job as a Mime Jr. is to organize and run your event consistently! Upon promotion, you'll receive your own thread down in #1149373303669145751 as well as pin perms and access to #recurring-events to keep users updated on your current event.

Mime Jr. is not a role that is applied to!
Rather than applications, staff will approach users who show initiative in creating and running their own event down in #1222376526805209201 and #event-general. Events that gain traction and have multiple successful runs are more likely to be approached with an offer to join the Mime team.
