If you're on Console you need to basically go get Dream Gate without Shade Dash or Shade Soul.

You can get Abyss Shriek, D-Dark, any Charms, and any Notches, because during practice you can just turn these things off.

You need to do this without killing extra bosses, also. That shouldn't be too difficult, though

But you can then keep that save file ready to go. You can potentially use a Save Editor to plant Dream Gates wherever you want at that point, but that may not work

but yes, modding should affect nothing. at worst, you'll need to backup your save files. i actually made myself a program to automatically let me swap between sets of save files

i recommend you don't use the MoreSaves mod or however tf it's called

backup the save files yourself

the mod glitched for me once and i lost my main file with all bosses done radiant in HoG

Nah, i made like an external thing. it lets you backup your save directory and load another with just a couple clicks

It works w completely vanilla hollow knight although you gotta restart it ofc
