I also have the same problem of just infinite loading, here are the solutions I tried

Clearing Cache
Clearing avatar data
Restarting the quest
Restarting the wifi
Switching wifi networks
Waiting for the game to load
And uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Is there any other solution I should try?

Hi, this goes for @dry niche as well, You are not able to change it because it is a default shader that came with that model you just need to slap it onto the black area in the scene, not the hierarchy or inspector.

@haughty coyote I had the same problem they told me “go under mesh renderer and click materials, and then click the material.004 and then do ctrl+d and drag the new material into the same spot and make it standard lite or whatever”

Hello - I am having problems running VR Chat app on my Oculus Quest 2 - After several uninstall, reboot, re-install attempts here are the problems I am having: The VR Chat launchs and brings me to login (choose VR Chat or Use Oculus account). _ I just chose use Oculus account, the next screen I see is the Terms and Conditions and I hit check box on I agree. Then It says Initializing World and it starts blinking after the World takes me in front of the mirror to change my avatar. It is blinking so fast that i can't do anything but exit the app or reboot my Oculus Quest 2. How do I resolve this?

When I switched from quest to quest 2 I had a lot of glitches for the first while, but then They suddenly went away. I honestly have no idea what’s causing the issues that your having, I haven’t had that specific problem before. Maybe try playing over virtual desktop or oculus link?

Exactly, it’s a new platform that they haven’t done a lot of development on. It’s bound to have issues. Rightnow I’d say is just a waiting game till they come out with a performance patch.

No idea, software development take time. Sometimes a lot of time. They update fairly frequently though so just keep an eye out.

This last patch caused a lot of problems. So they’ll probably try and fix it sooner than later.

I think your storage and most things look fine, it might be really laggy because of your graphics card is quite a bit under the recommended since it’s a 970. I recommend getting a gtx 1660 because it’s a good performing one and it’s not the most expensive.

I use a quadcast s from hyperx and just the quest audio, and it does charge but very slowly

get a link cable for pc, or just suffer ig, some avatars are pc and quest whereas other are only pc or only quest. There's no way around it unless you have a vr ready pc with a link cable

For me Occulus link disconnects from vrchat sometimes. I might need to edit the registry

So I need some help, I use quest link, and when I go to play, the game starts, the lags and stutters (more like seizes, as i get like, 1 frame per 5 sec) and then boots me out of oculus link. None of my other vr games through the link/steam vr do this, does anyone know a fix?

Restarted the oculus
Unplugged my wifi and back in
Cleared my game cache
Cleared avatar data
Logged out and back in
Enabled, disabled, and enabled permissions
Reset my avatar
And turned the wifi off while logging in and back on
