If you really kink a cable like this, it's unlikely your normal many copper core one will go out undamaged either

damage to the shielding and strands is also very likely.

The advantage of the fibre cable is also that it's much simpler on the inside.

All it needs is the fibre core and power.

Which also means that on normal twisting and turning and such, there is less push/pull stresses on the individual strands.

Either way, don't be feared of fibre. It's not a glass tube that will crack when you bonk it once.

But sadly it do be more expensive too due to the required media converters in the plugs

The pro's are obviously no electrical interferance, long distances possible, faster signal transmittion. (only really impacting on longer distances tho, rather equal on what a VR headset uses due to the conversion needed. )

Blocking all animations and if your on PC using the particle limiter does wonders
Wont solve all of it, but should clear out most crashers

I use it for updating my old avatars, simple avatars with no fancy crap, (I hate how default sdk3 looks and acts and don't wanna fiddle with making it look normal for a simple avi) and worlds because udon can bite me

If you hate the animations you can probably just get a locomotion controller similar to sdk2, i'm sure people made a few of those, and just stick it into the avatar descriptor

if you want a simple avatar on sdk3, you simply put the avatar descriptor on the avatar, maybe check your eye look settings and mouth viscemes and you're fine

but by default it will already have things setup for your avatar to be operable in game, you'll even have hand gestures too

When you merge, you keep the vrchat account name, and your friends, favorite avatars, world lists etc all transfer over

Just make sure that you do not add anyone or favorite anything on the VRChat account until you merge it with your Oculus one.

Nvm I just figured it out Apparently if mute your mic on your xbox controller when it's hooked up to your xbox console it mutes it and it cannot be used on anything else so you have to sync your controller back to your xbox unmute it off the xbox and then it'll work because it just worked for me

What izu said is correct. Time does nothing and how long it takes varies drastically from user to user as some actions may hurt your rank.

That said, you can always buy VRC+ and be able to upload avatars right away.
