Apparently Voicemeter was the problem. I switched over to the output for the regular headphones, and that fixed the issue. I know I have had issues in the past with voicemeter, but it would get fixed after changing the output or restarting Voicemeter.

While virtual desktop works really well, it is disingenuous to say that it doesn't do any compression, and in heavy scenes with a lot of effects and post processing, compression artifacts can be quite visible.

if you're getting the error where it says it failed to delete previous incomplete version, its an issue specific to your avatar id and you need to send in a support ticket to get it addressed. If you don't need to use the same id, you can just reupload it on a new id. Happens when uploading during server issues.

Link over 3.0 USB’s has less compression and less delay. It still has some of both, though, just less than VD. But even over Link, the delay was enough that I felt it in Expert+ beat saber. So I don’t recommend Quests for PCVR if you are into those types of games. It’s perfectly fine for VRChat though

I'm in the midst of creating V2.. and tbh.. with the elements i use and in regards to detail occlusion culling etc.. i wonder if i can make it cross compatible too as its not really only designed for one specific type of headset.. but i have no means to test it myself as i have no wireless.. i just require input from other users with a quest i guess.. i just HATE the fact that i have to be mindful that if i release a PC/wired build then others who are on wireless (without going through Virtual desktop) would miss out.. i despise that.. having to create two alternate versions of said same map.

When you use Virtual Desktop or the Link cable, you're rendering with your computer's processing power just as you would with any other VR headset - with the Quest on standalone however, the Quest would be running on it's own built-in processor

It's not strictly time-based - friends, worlds visited, avatars/worlds uploaded (if the account has permission) and active hours all help, alongside not getting kicked/banned/muted/reported, etc
It's completely different for everyone, but I'd hazard a guess and say that 10-50 hours with a decent amount of friends'd sound right to go from Visitor to New User (the rank at which you can upload avatars) c:

Well.. i cant help you with that one.. i'm no psychologist but it does sound like that shot could of taken you back in time to something you either witnessed or rather something that may of happened to you or perhaps even a lament fear for when you was actually in the army.. i hear of people that get triggered by some game events that can cause their post traumatic distress to kick in.. also though VR is used to actually treat certain disorders.. but yeah its all about triggers it seems.
