The problem is the staff for the game have a shady past especially after the whole oculus funding they used on personal vacations instead of the game. Shows where their loyalties ly tbh. I think the dev's have just stopped caring. Didnt expect to do this much work. I'm just tired of crashing DAILY and I have good hardware too. Even maximum safety settings g is useless. VRChat isn't typically capable of breaking SteamVR that way, I think those errors are related to the compositor not starting correctly? Definitely worth a reinstall of SteamVR, or maybe trying out the Beta version instead

my 2 cents on this. Its typically for a small stutter to happen when avatars load in, the stutter can be quite big if its a heavy avatar etc.
What might be happening is that the stutter is big enough that it triggers the Timeout Detection & Recovery (TDR) mechanism on nvidia drivers, and this usually forces a restart of graphic drivers. Some games can handle this happening, but for VR its very likely to cause the compositor to break, resulting in the errors you see.
