Yes, they've rolled back an update before, or at least parts of it. I think it was a year ago or so.

And since you were able to switch back and forth between the beta update and the live version before this update, it should be possible to roll it back.

For index you’ll need to go into settings and toggle off finger tracking. Also in the radial menu you can toggle “use legacy fingers”
For quest hooked up to steamvr you’ll need to toggle off finger tracking and in your steam vr binds unbind the skeleton inputs.
If you’re on virtual desktop quest you’ll need to do the above but also update your VD and fix forward tracking.
For vive wands, pico, pimax, wmr, hd reverb; welcome to hell, you’re going to rebind EVERYTHING
If you had any custom bindings you’ll need to rebind them

If anyone needs help fixing hp reverb/windows mixed reality bindings, I posted an infographic in #1273475288793088000
It took me 6 hours to debug and is as close as I could get it to the original controls, although still broken

If a dev sees this the issue is that the wmr controller defaults are quest binds, and on quest all the inputs are inverted and the gestures are completely different

Not if you want to connect to the network. Multiplayer games require you match the version the servers require or you just can’t connect to their servers.

VRC now follows the 'standardized' ways of how handtracking and controllers work now and doesnt need to use there own self glue'd together system anymore.
In the future if someone releases a VR product (or anything with a controller/handtracking data) it can instantly work with VRC now.

Check your controls tab in settings, under the button to open the steamvr binds, there should be a list of inputs the game considers required. Check if any of those are unbound

Once you know what’s wrong, manually rebind them to the correct inputs in steamvr

If you’re on standalone then instead of steamvr open whatever you need to rebind controls

Anybody using Quest 2 having an issue when you afk where you avatar is stuck in your last pose? I used to push the power button to sleep the headset when I afk'd and my avatar's arms would go beside them and they'd stand straight. Now when I afk, you can just see my avatar stuck in the pose of me turning my headset off. It's quite annoying. I have afk detection turned off since I don't care for using an animation or something while I'm away. I assume this has to do with the terrible controller update.

yeah it's against ToS to completely remove a person's ability to enter the world. The closest equivalent to a blacklist you could provide is something that locks players in a room if they don't have access, but allows them to at least talk to players nearby, and leave with their menu

Ever since the update, my PC has been constantly disconnecting and reconnecting anytime I'm even on SteamVR. May just be a cable issue and i've been thinking about buying a new one. Turned on safety settings where it'd show only avatars and audio. Friend said the issue could possibly be from the fact that since the update, any time your computer lags you get that black screen issue.

They would've had 24GB of VRAM, same as the current 7900 XTX.
