The spacebar movement when you bottom out is normal and it's not an issue. If your stabilizers aren't rattling/ticking, there's no need to swap stabilizers. Other stabilizers will also have some wobble when bottoming out.

Both have the same features. Personally i have gone for the 80 HE just because i would prefer to have the arrow and F1-12 keys even if im primarily using my pc for games.

There are some niche times where i use the pc for productivity so they are always nice to have in the off chance.

the plastic looks nice (mainly ghost) and some people prefer the sound, but i really enjoy the premium feel of a metal case as well as how sturdy it is. At the end of the day it's up to you to decide, but i personally went from a plastic ghost case to a metal case (gt-80 from kbdfans) and would not go back.

Has anyone here tried the Gateron Jade Attraction switches? Are they close to A or S rated in the Wooting switch library? And are they going to become available in the switch selector?

I might get them. I just dont like how the top housing isn't clear

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a very sensitive switch with an extremely light spring. The switches I currently have still require a bit too much force to actuate, and I’d like something much lighter.

Basically, I’m searching for a switch with a very low actuation force, where even a tiny press can trigger the switch easily. If anyone has recommendations for the lightest-feeling Wooting-compatible switches, I’d really appreciate it!

maybe melgeek 035 or the upcoming gateron attraction switch

both insanely light. Melgeek is 35g from beginning to end and gaterons is even lighter at 30g

both switches still in process of being added to selector, but would likely appear in one of the future updates of the selector

there's no particular tier list as 'ultralight' switches isn't a super popular category

but the gateron ones being 30 top 30 bottom force are absolutely the lightest of the stock options that we know about

30-30 is ultra light. Typical bottom out you see is 45-50 these days

it's funny one of the influencers with one of those key press latency testing tools realised wooting went all the way to fastest release latency just with some deadzone changes in the new firmware

meanwhile it's not like our latency actually changes, it's just the methodology favors silly stuff like lowest deadzone to get quickest activation on particular setting - so you're never testing the same distances between keyboards

i was actually thinking if there was a way to have a more universal test but seems impossible without some way to make every single keyboard have the same deadzone/release distance

yeah, they seem to just be jade ultra but with magnets for that constant 30 bottom out force

either way i'll be sending them over to our switch selector team anyway because gateron stuff tends to get requested a bunch, so i sent them most of the new flagship switches from them

but might be awhile because gateron still hasn't even shipped them, so i can't include them in this next batch i'm sending next week
